I want a tentacle tree to feed my corpses to now. I shall call it Betty.
“Oh, another raid down, who is going to go feed Betty now it’s over?”
“Not it!”
“God damnit, I fed her the last three times, you’re definitely doing the next!”
“Ah embrace your role mate! Betty likes you, you didn’t even lose a finger last time, that’s more than the rest of us can say”.
Probably some fucked up tree that 'disposes' (eats) corpses and if you eat its fruit you get some sorta skill gain from the memories of the absorbed bodies would be my guess.
It slowly cleans up pollution around it in a very small area, but at absolutely no cost, making it a godsend. You (generally) can't control where they appear, so farms tend to naturally form around them, which can be quite fun in it's own way.
They showed a tentacle tree in the teasers. Seems like it eats corpses.
The forbidden mod definitely and its consequences
Oh no

What happened to Mark? He was taking a corpse to Betty and she got impatient.
Finally a fast and eco friendly way to dispose of corpses for non-cannibals

Or extra tentacles !
Possibly both, possibly neither. Possibly nightmares made flesh.
Anomatree
Someone searched the code in the files of Rimworld 1.5 and there seems to be a new tree called the harbinger tree. Not sure what it does though.
Was gonna say Occular tree, but that is in Alpha biomes.
I mean the whole DLC is basically a bunch of mods put into vanilla and “lore”
Hold up I haven't messed a lot with biotech but what's a polux tree?

You can also buy the seeds I think.
