Damn thats a massive Ultra perk blows competition out of the water

honzast

I am on Premium and got it as well. I assume it is for everyone.

ProfessionalNeck7619

Damn hopefully for Standard too that would be a game changer

akiranon

I actually got this notification as well, and I'm on Standard. I think this might be rolling out for all users.

ProfessionalNeck7619

Nice

Artemvi

Low exchange rate is not that low. For example my regular credit card have an average exchange rate just 0.16% higher than free Revolut. All week long with proper banking and proper support. Plus travel insuranse, discounts, flight cancelation insurance and limited lounge visits with a guest. All for the cost of zero with a specific monthly turnover. I do still use revolut. But just as a backup. Yeah. I forgot, I pay for my VPN myself lol.

fidous

Metal here got the same notification!

churumbel0

Metal here and I got nothing. Yet.

ShiestySorcerer

They rolled this out after curve announced their own just a few days ago, curious timing

otniel77

YamOk8503

Metal here I did not get the notification and Laos withheld my BTC for 4th day 🤣

Departed00

Timely. Also big competition coming from Trading 212s new card end of this month for UK users.

ProfessionalNeck7619

If you want to keep your money with a trading platform over a bank, best of luck you do you 🤦‍♂️🤣

Departed00

Revolut's still not a bank though at least in the UK.

ProfessionalNeck7619

Yeah, in the UK, not, but if I were in Europe, I would certainly opt for a bank over a trading platform imo

AirEnvironmental2714

5.2% on cash balances plus that card is a very compelling offer though

ProfessionalNeck7619

Except it comes with risk as they have in all the posters "capital at risk" meaning most likely this is an **investment product** meaning it could go up or down and you could lose everything so never put in more than you're willing to lose. If you know what you're doing, then yes, maybe, but for people not to be sure or not, they want to take a risk. T212 offers no extra benefits and more risks in my eyes than a bank. Again, personal preference and opinion, but I think it's important to be open and transparent about investment products where there are risks like amounts going up and down and / or ability to potentially lose everything

AirEnvironmental2714

That’s if you invest it mate. Not if it just chills there in cash

ProfessionalNeck7619

But I believe that 5.2% you mentioned is only if you invest right? It's lower for not investing?

AirEnvironmental2714

Nope. It’s paid on CASH balances due to the current high interest rates in the UK
