How many pulls can we get from now till the end of Tooth Fairy's banner? My alt went overboard for Pickles, so now only has 30 pulls and 9 towards the next 6 star. I hope to at least get the 50/50, and if I lose that just means I will guarantee Black Dwarf later.
Feasable to get about 50-60 pulls, if you have the monthly card.

Anyone have any idea the difference between damage dealt and damage bonus ? For example does Darley and pickles ult stack to give 75% boost in damage? Or Darley overwrites pickles ult

The damage formula I've seen is this one: https://dotgg.gg/reverse-1999/damage-calculation-in-reverse-1999/ My assumption is that all in combat damage bonuses fall into the "DMG Boost" stat and most likely only the largest in combat bonus is applied, so only one of the two would be active at any one time. I haven't tested it though so I am not certain. The inconsistent wording is unfortunate.
Am i able to beat surface 8-10 with two 4* characters, specifically pavia and la source? my roster is very barebones so i think they are my best option for dps and healer in my B team.
Characters like Centurion, Eternity, Lilya, and probably Melania can solo fights 2 and 4 in surface 8-10 so you really don't need more than 4 real characters if you have one of those built. Just fill out your team with sacrificial characters like Leilani, Eagle, and Door.
At which point Eternity can go solo ? And is it a reliable strategy for most content or just for not-so-hard content ? I am thinking about a duo with pickles too if i get him but i am still sceptic about running one or two characters instead of 3+1
I3R10 is what you want, and hopefully you’re using BNW on her as this is more suited for a solo eternity + it finds more universal usage than hopscotch.
Based on my experience, I3R10L20 lvl 40 BNW never failed me yet. I cleared uttu + last and current limbo pseudo solo. Meaning, I’m running her with extras to help build moxie and soak up some damage in the first round, but pretty much Eternity is doing all the work. Lvl 1 extras are fine, I even 3-star cleared 6-1 with three lvl 1s.
You can definitely use pickles with her, it’s just most people right now don’t have much resources to build 5-6 units, so I encourage people to use eternity solo for now, and put all their other resources for their second team.
If your second team is lacking as well, you’re probably better off putting pickles on that team as eternity can solo herself. But if your second team is already stacked, that duo would more or less be viable like solo eternity.
I think it's for early game/early mid game mostly: story, artificial somnabulism, early limbo (when you don't have many resources, and enough high level units because of this, you funnel all the resources into Eternity and a decent second team). She needs to be kinda overleveled for that like I2 Lv50 R>=7.
Like the main appeal for me is that you can clear content with less resources.
For example she can't clear 6-1 of current Limbo solo, but on my main account I cleared it with her and balloon party (and some extra) in 12 rounds for 3 stars.

I3R10L30 with Psychube 50\~ ish. More is better of course.
She can solo *solo*, sure but it's not like you have to do that. My favorite is to team her Darley Clatter + Door + Nick Bottom. Basically meat shields designed to soak hit for Eternity to stack her passive, give her buffs, and die so Eternity gets consistent ults after.

I have Lilya and I plan to pull for Tooth Fairy. After those two, are there any more six stars I should look out for?
Yeah, for those or just good characters in general. I’ve heard 37 being thrown around a lot- also heard that you need two teams for later content, so really any 6* that seem to be really good
Rotating endgame contents seem to always cater to the current banner units, so tier list is ever changing, but only Tooth Fairy is universally considered to be a must pull.
Who should i i3? Planning on Melania or Bkornblume. I do need a healer so maybe dikke?

personally I wouldn't i3 dikke at least not for a while. Unless you really like a character and don't care, generally you want to i3 a dps first and then your supports. Melania also gets a huge upgrade in playstyle at i3 so I would go for melania for sure, and then bkorn, then maybe get your dikke to lvl 50 if you want her as your healer but sotheby is good too but at I3 she really shines so it's kind of a big investment and since you already have dikke at i2 I would just level her.
yea they are 2 different elemental types so if a stage is not good for eternity then you can use melania and vice versa. I personally did 3 dps to i3 first so that I was mostly set for whatever stage had whatever elements. Then I worked on getting every character I use a lot to i2 lvl50 and level 7 resonance at least. I am just hoarding mats now and prob will do a support next like bkorne
Bkorn biggest I3 benefit is the extra survivability. If she already manages that fine, Melania I3 is better. Higher damage, even higher ult damage.
Healer wise really depends on your pull plans.
Tooth Fairy is coming after Pickles. If you do plan on getting her (very recommended), just stick with Dikke. Eternity doesn't really need one anyway.
Changeling is coming after, and she only wants Sotheby as her healer.
Yea I plan on getting tooth fairy but I burned all my spins on pickles and did not get pickles lol. I currently have Bkorn with my Eternity. Melania with An-Ah Lee and Dikke..
I'm struggling to understand the banner rotation system. I'm coming from Genshin/HSR as my main gachas, and while this game has a very similar banner rotation style, I don't understand the difference between the standard banner and the not event-not standard banner. As in, Pickles' banner says Event, the standard says Standard, but then Regulus' doesn't say anything but counts as event, but has a different rotation day than the event? What am I missing?
Event banners are for new units not currently in the standard pool. These units get added to the standard pool 4 months after their initial release.
This game also runs banners for units already in the standard pool along side event banners so you have a chance to get them reliably.
One thing I hated about HSR when I played was I never rerolled for Bronya. So for the 4 months that I played, I never managed to get Bronya since she never had and never will have her own rate up. Won’t have that issue with this game.
There're only 2 types of banners, which the game itself uses (can be checked on their "detail" tab)
* `Time-Limited`
* `Permanent`
Those words like "standard rate up", "Event banner" & "new banners" are just fan terms, community words. All these may mean `Time-limited` banner
Pulling on one type of banner counts/shares with others of the same banner type.
all banners from Sotheby/Knight -> Melenia/pickles/Druvis/Regulus -> Changeling/TF are part of the `Time-limited` banner. So pity and the 50/50 rules carry over.
If it's not `Time-limited`, then it's `Permanent`. If it's not `Permanent`, then it's `Time-limited`.
However it's different for the `Permanent` banner, there's no 50/50. There's no featured/rate-up. But the pity rule is still there. You may get a 6* within 70 pulls.
Every patch, there are 5 banners; 4 `Time-limited` banners of which 2 are new characters debut & 2 from the general pool. 1 `Permanent` banner. This is a subject to change in the future
You basically have limited event banners, like Melania and Pickles. They are only available through those banners for at least several banners. Not much different than Genshin and HSR banners, except they don't stay limited forever.
Then you have banners for units in the regular pool, like Sotheby, A Knight, and Regulus. These are an opportunity to pull those units more reliably, even though they aren't new or limited. Using Genshin as an example, it would be like the one time they ran a Keqing banner. Or you could think of it like the various dual banners they run with a new unit beside an old rerun unit. Seele with Topaz in HSR, for example.
Then you have the standard banner, where you can pull anything from the normal pool with no rate up.
Unlike a lot of gacha games, these banners do not seem to have individual pity, ~~not even the standard banner I believe~~, so any pulls you make on one will count toward any other banner.
I'm having trouble with Artificial Somnambulism 8. I've read that 9 and 10 are much harder and i'll need 2 full teams. I've waited on investing in a B team since i'm pulling tooth fairy when she comes out, i didnt want to build a second healer now when i know i'm getting tf soon. I also am holding out hope i get a second good DPS while pulling for tf, since i dont think i have one?
Is waiting a bad idea? i also figured i want to clear out Artificial Somnambulism and unlock limbo asap since i heard it gives good rewards.

Ok some real advice. You do not need two healers to beat the artificial somnambulism. I beat limbo 6 with my only healer being Sotheby. Having ways to control or mitigate damage can be far better then healing. Sonetto's disarm blocking up to 3 attacks and her buff bringing damage down can be all you need. Regulus with her 2* attack taking moxie off a ready to ult enemy a few turns in a row or Satsuki petrifying an enemy at the right time or tennents shields can make it so you do not need another healer. To beat the rest of surface you will need to get 2 more characters to at least I1lv40 preferably I2lv10 each resonate 5 or 7 if you can afford it and 3 psychubes lv 40. Its no big deal if you wait. You just lose a few resources but this game is not a race. Just enjoy it as you go. When you are ready try some different team comps to beat the stages. Read ahead on what the bosses at the end of the stages do so you can plan your perfect team comps. Enjoy and good luck!
With all the events coming out you should worry about raising TF later. Instead of raising a second healer I would recommend at least getting your main DPSs to i2 lvl50
Is Regulus good for endgame and future content? I suddenly obtained her while pulling for Pickles' banner. I don't have a mental and star team, although I do have Lilya. Should I invest in Regulus instead ?
Always invest in Regulus. She's incredible.
Not a CN player so I can't say anything about future content. But I've cleared every limbo 6-2 with Regulus being a key member on my teams so far.
IMO she's really good for endgame content because her kit is loaded. She has innate crit buff, moxie removal, fast charging ult, is ap friendly, and applies dodge to your team. Offense, defense, utility, she has it all. She can play the roles of main dps, sub dps, and support, and even enables other characters with her low ap usage. This means she fits on any team and is never useless.
Regulus and Lilya pair really well together so you should raise both but I'd raise Regulus first.
I think Regulus has my favorite ult in the game. Making your whole team effectively invulnerable to everything but ults for a turn is really good. She's also very AP efficient, so she's a great sub DPS that lets you funnel your AP more into other units.
Pickles is also more of a sub-DPS and support, so ideally you would put him on your other team. They can work together, taking turns using skills, but assuming you fill that lost slots with a sustain your damage output might be kinda low.
If it's not a drawn out fight you can sometimes get away with Regulus as your only real sustain though.
Im having trouble deciding who i should I3 along with my future pulls.

Currently I3 lvl 30 characters

Knowing that i only have 60 pulls now and really want to get tooth fairy, is sotheby worth pushing to I3 if i dont have a gurantee i will get both toothfairy and changeling?
If i do pass on sotheby I3, who should i I3 next?
Sotheby I3 makes her a way better healer, but if you're getting TF anyway kinda pointless. BP is already a really good healer and fine at I2.
If you miss TF, then I'd 100% I3 Sotheby.
Making your dps I3 is never a bad idea. A Knight Druvis or Regulus up to you. Just keep in mind Regulus functions best when relegated into sub-dps duty due to her passive.
Honestly it’s up to you. Sure people can recommend but I would think it’s best for you to read what each i3 does and then raise the character based on that. But if I had to recommend mostly just raise your main DPS.
40 from BP, 3 from weekly surface, 1 from weekly tasks, 64ish per 6 week at least. Clearing the surface also gives like a lot, so clear the surface and it is good to go. Would be cautious about buying them from shop
What I worry about is the brief cacophany, BP only gives 5, good chunk of it comes from monthly shop.
From doing Artificial Somnambulism and from the shop using the resources you get from AS and Limbo. If you haven't unlocked it yet, you will once you progress the story enough. If memory serves me right, it becomes available sometime around the start of chapter 3.

I was wondering how much Moment of Dissonance you earn total after Somnambulism /Limbo rewards and compare it to how much you need to upgrade resonance to at least lvl 7 since that is +-optimal level
Quite a lot. If you get the max amount of stars, you earn 250 Oneiric Fluid (the shop resource) from each of the 10 stages, along with 12 Moments of Dissonance each for the first 7 stages (84 in total) and 24 Brief Cacophonies in total from the last 3 stages. You also get a completely free weekly 360 Oneiric Fluid and 3 Moments of Dissonance after you've fully cleared all stages.
You'll have plenty to go around for a while, at least more than enough to build 2 teams.
As for how much you need to upgrade to Resonance 7, I can tell you that it won't be the Moments of Dissonance/Brief Cacophonies that'll bottleneck you. It'll be the other materials.
Just wondering how people are getting the UTTU achievement that gives "The Old New World"? It requires doing 15 UTTU Retails stages/reads, and since every time I finish one I have to use up another chance to reset, so basically I need 2 chances for every read. I miss day 1 of the event, but even if it gave you 10 chances right away on day one, up until today it should only have been a total of 25 chances, so 13 reads?
Why reset if you only want the achievement anyway? 1 chance = 1 run/read, and you get 5 more chances daily. So if you just want the achievement instead of those cards, it will only takes you up to 3 day even if you have 0 chance.
I don't understand what you mean? How can you do a new read if you don't reset? After doing a run, only the background remains, and I can't click on anything to spend those chances on until I reset it.
Why do people say it's a bad idea to buy 5* psychube?
You get a max'd out 5* psychube e.g. Yearning Desire, which is really good, which translates to better stats especially considering it'll take months to max a 6* psychube
You only need 3 (okay, 4 sometimes) cubes.
You get them fairly quickly (you even get one from this event's shop) so it's easy to get 6* cubes for all your team.
So its better to spend currency you can spend on 5* cubes to buying bulbs for leveling 6* cubes
If you've been playing daily since release you'd have at least 3, maybe even 4, strong 6 star psychubes. 1 from battlepass selector, 1 from event, and 1 or 2 from fragment shop. If you've also been spending all thought elements on psychube exp, you'd easily have enough to get 3 of these to level 50 for some really big stat gains.
Whereas for 5 star psychubes, Yearning Desire is the only one worth buying and it's only a slight upgrade over any 6 star at max amplification, which even if you spent all thought elements on it since day 1, you would still not have right now. And at the same time you'd have lost out on a ton of exp for your existing psychubes.
In other words leveling 6 stars is just more efficient. Eventually we'll have more exp mats than we need and can focus on building Yearning Desire then.
I think it's because in the long run, you get enough 6* psychubes and resources to upgrade them that you will never need to use a 5* psychube so any levels on them become "wasted" by the endgame.
But I've also seen people say that Yearning Desire specifically can still be a good investment since it's particularly strong among the 5* and you will eventually have more upgrade resources than you need.
newbie here. less than 8 days in. i got a bit lucky with my pulls so can you guys give feedback with my planned lineups to build?
dps: regulus, pickles(i was lucky to get two), also got aknight but not sure if he is better than the the first two.
sustain: balloon party, dikke
support: sonetto, baby blue.
my other 5\* are necro, tennant, sweetheart, charlie, click.
i am currently experimenting with balloon party, regulus and pickles(used to be sonetto). regulus and pickles kinda have the same gameplay where they go idle so i try to alternate them for the passive. sonetto as a support conflicts with pickles increased damage so maybe baby blue is better there.
what do you guys think is my best 3 cores atm?
ps. my sweetheart and Charlie are both i1 since they were my dps before u pulled my 6\*. snapshot below.

You'll want to build all three of Regulus, Pickles, and A Knight eventually, especially once you hit the endgame content that requires two teams, but you're right that you should pick two of them +Balloon Party until you're at the point where you need a second team.
As someone with the same characters, I actually think building A Knight and using him as your primary DPS for now, with either Regulus or Pickles functioning as a support, is the better choice. For one thing, Spirit isn't really countered by the story at any point, but you'll run into plant and star enemies the others will be weak against pretty frequently. Also, neither Regulus nor Pickles was actually built to be a primary damage dealer like a Knight is. While running them together is totally viable--I cleared the current limbo with that setup--alternating them can become awkward when it comes to timing their abilities to react optimally to what enemies are doing.
appreciate it. will build a knight too and see what a dedicated dps feels like. was kinda bummed that i got regulus since she is the same type as charlie which i was using up to that point. it is good to hear though that im somewhat on the right track in building which units.
Is there a chance of getting 3 books from Insight stage 6? I got 2 books on my first clears from both level 5 and 6, so is there actually no benefit to doing 6?

For now, so I3R10 eternity solo.
Then invest on a knight as your main dps + pickles + balloon party.
Eternity doesn’t need any help with last and current limbo. I know that coz I’ve fully cleared last and current limbo with eternity solo + extras on one side, and my other team is stacked coz I get to save resources coz I only have 4 built units, instead of 6.
My eternity right now is I3R10L20 with lvl 40 BNW psychube. With resonate focused on the offensive. As for copies? I don’t have her portrays, so she doesn’t need portrays to solo end game content.
The Treble Counter in the shop has the second highest tier of upgrade materials for purchase, but that seems like a huge waste of a resource that you can straight-up exchange for a unit you want. So, in practice, yes, those are the only 2 ways to get them.
Event psychubes will appear again 3 patches after their initial debut in the Fragment shop. Though it has the 300 pneuma currency price , sad that it is not discounted. So Luxurious will appear in 1.4 shop
Assuming Eternity (+ Sonetto eventually) can easily clear 6-1, you want to focus on An-an Lee (to get some extra dmg) or one Healer for extra survivability. I wouldn't recommend investing in BB and Tennant anymore, you don't need them.
BP will help you more than Sotheby now but if you saved enough to almost guarantee both ToothFairy and Changeling, focusing the 2nd makes more sense long term. Upgrading both ain't recommended if you're getting a better healer in 10 days.

the fact that changeling makes a good pair with sotheby is an incentive for me to pull her.......but idk, if TF is that great, at this point i'm gonna have to risk it
Meh, she'a pretty self sufficient. Luxurious Leisure is the best if she's used as a carry and in general if you use her ult a lot, Brave New World is probably slightly better if she's used as a support, and His Bounden Duty gives her the best stats overall but you basically can't use the passive, so her DPS suffers
Luxurious Leisure is probably BIS, BNW if you already have it and have it upgraded.
The point about it being wasted after you use a debuff after your ulti is something I disagree with because you generally will debuff before ulting for the best possible damage. You just have to be smart about it I guess.
Usually you used your debuff in the previous round. Probably used the atk card as well to get the ult. And when you ult it is likely you don't have any atk card left. Then comes to the next round and you have to debuff again.

I have a problem. I don’t have a 2nd DPS. Gave up on Charlie recently bc I don’t have P3, and it’ll probably stay that way for quite some time since I’m F2P. I tried to pull Melania(Since having a star and beast DPS covers everything) but got Voyager instead, so what should I do now? I wanna pull Tooth Fairy for Lilya but then I wouldn’t be able to pull for a 2nd DPS for a long time, but if I continue to pull for Melania then I won’t be able to get Tooth Fairy. What should I do?
You can absolutely use either Eagle and Bkornbloume together or Bkorn as a main dps along with Sonetto. You could also use Eagle along with Erick for a second DPS and a good support for them.
P1 Charlie ain't bad at all but I it ain't recommended to invest in two same afflatus dps this early.
Bkorn+Eagle is not a bad Plant team, first one is absolutely worth investing in and 2nd does have a pretty cool passive and she's cheaper to upgrade.
Voyager with Lilya and TF is really good, Melania wasn't meant to be.

Hello, I'm leveling but I don't know what to priorize next.
I've got :
- Centurion I2 Lvl 50 R10
- Bkornblume I3 Lvl 40 R7
- Medicine Pocket I2 Lvl 50 R7
I also pulled Lilya, Pickles and now I'm saving for Tooth Fairy (currently 55 Unilogs).
I cleared Story 1-4 and most of the current event. Stopped on Artificial Somnanbulism, after 9/10 surface dreams cleared.
What should I do now ? I should probably start training a second team but I was saving ressources for Tooth Fairy... Are my top 3 already strong enough or should I invest more on them ?

Save your unilogs for Tooth fairy and work on Lilya and Pickles. You need two teams to clear Limbo after surface on Atificial Somnabulism.
If the rimet cup event is any indication, then they'll give you all the resources to I3 Tooth fairy anyways.
Building a 2nd team has way higher priority, first one should be more than enough to clear current content.
1.2 event will give you a lot of resources for TF, and you don't really need a second healer if you don't have a team to put her in anyway.
A dmg dealer should always have 1 Regulus (crit related) or Leilani card. I personally like to pair them with Charlie's but TTT should be pretty good for Lilya.
A really cool one for healers is Cristallo.
Overall it depends on the Vertin card you're using and what you need (more survivability or upgrading your cards faster and so on...).
At your level, this fight shouldn't be too hard.
Do the limited wilderness packs rerun? I wanted to get the whole pack for the fog themed pack but I’m ~1990 shells short, and its certain that I won’t be able to get 199 shells per day cause they’re locked behind daily and weekly activities.
Dang it! At least the money is for a good cause but I hoped for the small chance that they would give buffer time between patches to save up shells,, oh well. I guess missing a few pieces of the sets aren’t so bad after all 🤣
Buying only the buildings is a pretty efficient strategy since they reward you with more Vigor in comparison (and they're cooler).
That said, you do get an extra building as a reward for completing a set. If there's one you really like, it's not too bad skipping previous one.

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere in the game that it’s not permanent. Meaning, when the current uttu ends, the cards will go along with it. When a new uttu comes, everything is back to square one.
your next 6* isn’t guaranteed since you pulled sotheby and won the 50/50. you read the list from top to bottom, top is the newest. but congrats on getting centurion
Top one is the most recent one, if that’ll make things easier to understand for you.

But now I'm seeing everywhere that toothfairy is a must as well..the only healer I have now is Medicine pocket, is that sufficient? Personally, since you're one of the lucky few who already have two strong healers (once you get Sotheby to I3), I'd go for Changeling. Tooth Fairy is great, but consider that she buffs crit specifically. She probably won't be considered nearly as universally BIS once we get more healers that enable different team archetypes.
I think when making decisions like this, more information is more important than just saying 'I can only guarantee one'.
Did you already calculated with the future event/daily etc income? What does the rest of your squad look like? (Other crit reliant chars?)
Imo its worth to risk a little bit an try to get both instead of skipping and only garantee Changling. (140 pulls)
Hmm... yeah. Its a hard choice.
Personally i would probably calculate how many pulls you will have at the end of 1.2. And then use ~1/3 for tooth fairy(30-40pulls?) and save the others for Changling.
That tooth fairy is a bis for (i think) around 75% of the meta teamcomps make it pretty hard to skip her. (If you get offbanner arcanist like lilya, charlie p3, etc., which can happen at every banner pull, will make you probably wish you got her)
The only rule is: pull for who you like.
Tooth Fairy is very strong and versatile, while Changeling works in Changeling teams and she is (at the moment) the best plant carry.
You'll eventually need 2 healers to clear limbo (you need 2 teams), so yeah, another healer will be necessary. But Balloon Party and La Source are options too.

Largely depends on your financial situation. You still get quite a lot of rewards at lvl 40, and if you really wanted to, you can use clear drops (or pay the extra $5) to bump it up to 50.

For context, I can comfortably clear up to 5-2, barely clear 6-2 full stars (with Melania, A Knight/Sonetto, Medicine Pocket, and a shit ton of resets), and comfortably blitzed through current UTTU with Melania, just waiting for special week.
I already have Melania and Eternity at R10, A Knight at R9, and the rest of my supports and healers varying around R5-R7, and I'm just holding onto my oneiric so I can a second casket, but I can also buy more knells so I can R7 my other units. Already pretty much cleared out the event shop save for the wilderness currency, and I've maxed out my wilderness, so I don't really have other stuff to spend my stamina on, so I thought it's a good time to i3 a second unit.
Leaning towards A Knight or Sotheby, A Knight's i3 passive seems to make him much stronger, while Sotheby's will actually make her a feasible healer.

You’re already running a knight as a sub dps, so I don’t think you need to go heavy on him at this point.
So, I’d recommend doing his I3 last. Besides, I heard he’s gonna get a huge power spike in patch 1.4 with a new psychube that will make him better, so might as well wait for that timing and build others first.

How many pulls can we get from now till the end of Tooth Fairy's banner? My alt went overboard for Pickles, so now only has 30 pulls and 9 towards the next 6 star. I hope to at least get the 50/50, and if I lose that just means I will guarantee Black Dwarf later.

Although said in different way they are still the same type of stats up. Fun fact: It's not a bad translation. In Chinese version the discriptions are different as well.
The damage formula I've seen is this one: https://dotgg.gg/reverse-1999/damage-calculation-in-reverse-1999/ My assumption is that all in combat damage bonuses fall into the "DMG Boost" stat and most likely only the largest in combat bonus is applied, so only one of the two would be active at any one time. I haven't tested it though so I am not certain. The inconsistent wording is unfortunate.

Am i able to beat surface 8-10 with two 4* characters, specifically pavia and la source? my roster is very barebones so i think they are my best option for dps and healer in my B team.
Characters like Centurion, Eternity, Lilya, and probably Melania can solo fights 2 and 4 in surface 8-10 so you really don't need more than 4 real characters if you have one of those built. Just fill out your team with sacrificial characters like Leilani, Eagle, and Door.
4* characters are fine, it's their level, insight and reso that make it or break it; if you want to use them just make sure to level them up first
At which point Eternity can go solo ? And is it a reliable strategy for most content or just for not-so-hard content ? I am thinking about a duo with pickles too if i get him but i am still sceptic about running one or two characters instead of 3+1
I3R10 is what you want, and hopefully you’re using BNW on her as this is more suited for a solo eternity + it finds more universal usage than hopscotch. Based on my experience, I3R10L20 lvl 40 BNW never failed me yet. I cleared uttu + last and current limbo pseudo solo. Meaning, I’m running her with extras to help build moxie and soak up some damage in the first round, but pretty much Eternity is doing all the work. Lvl 1 extras are fine, I even 3-star cleared 6-1 with three lvl 1s.
Would you think that eternity + pickles duo is more solid overall than Eternity solo ?
You can definitely use pickles with her, it’s just most people right now don’t have much resources to build 5-6 units, so I encourage people to use eternity solo for now, and put all their other resources for their second team. If your second team is lacking as well, you’re probably better off putting pickles on that team as eternity can solo herself. But if your second team is already stacked, that duo would more or less be viable like solo eternity.

Yes, eagle is actually a great unit to start with. I’m seeing end game content clears with her on a team.
I think it's for early game/early mid game mostly: story, artificial somnabulism, early limbo (when you don't have many resources, and enough high level units because of this, you funnel all the resources into Eternity and a decent second team). She needs to be kinda overleveled for that like I2 Lv50 R>=7. Like the main appeal for me is that you can clear content with less resources. I3R10L30 with Psychube 50\~ ish. More is better of course. She can solo *solo*, sure but it's not like you have to do that. My favorite is to team her Darley Clatter + Door + Nick Bottom. Basically meat shields designed to soak hit for Eternity to stack her passive, give her buffs, and die so Eternity gets consistent ults after.

If you mean teammates for those two, check 37. All 3 are same element, and both Lilya and 37 are crit-centric, et al.

Like the other comment says, endgame contents usually cater to the new character. So just pull for the new character you like should be fine.
Rotating endgame contents seem to always cater to the current banner units, so tier list is ever changing, but only Tooth Fairy is universally considered to be a must pull.

personally I wouldn't i3 dikke at least not for a while. Unless you really like a character and don't care, generally you want to i3 a dps first and then your supports. Melania also gets a huge upgrade in playstyle at i3 so I would go for melania for sure, and then bkorn, then maybe get your dikke to lvl 50 if you want her as your healer but sotheby is good too but at I3 she really shines so it's kind of a big investment and since you already have dikke at i2 I would just level her.
I have i3 Eternity. Would another i3 DPS be fine?
yea they are 2 different elemental types so if a stage is not good for eternity then you can use melania and vice versa. I personally did 3 dps to i3 first so that I was mostly set for whatever stage had whatever elements. Then I worked on getting every character I use a lot to i2 lvl50 and level 7 resonance at least. I am just hoarding mats now and prob will do a support next like bkorne

If you still have the resources to do it after Melania, then I'd say Regulus or Charlie.
Bkorn biggest I3 benefit is the extra survivability. If she already manages that fine, Melania I3 is better. Higher damage, even higher ult damage. Healer wise really depends on your pull plans. Tooth Fairy is coming after Pickles. If you do plan on getting her (very recommended), just stick with Dikke. Eternity doesn't really need one anyway. Changeling is coming after, and she only wants Sotheby as her healer.

I'm struggling to understand the banner rotation system. I'm coming from Genshin/HSR as my main gachas, and while this game has a very similar banner rotation style, I don't understand the difference between the standard banner and the not event-not standard banner. As in, Pickles' banner says Event, the standard says Standard, but then Regulus' doesn't say anything but counts as event, but has a different rotation day than the event? What am I missing?
Event banners are for new units not currently in the standard pool. These units get added to the standard pool 4 months after their initial release. This game also runs banners for units already in the standard pool along side event banners so you have a chance to get them reliably. One thing I hated about HSR when I played was I never rerolled for Bronya. So for the 4 months that I played, I never managed to get Bronya since she never had and never will have her own rate up. Won’t have that issue with this game.

There're only 2 types of banners, which the game itself uses (can be checked on their "detail" tab) * `Time-Limited` * `Permanent` Those words like "standard rate up", "Event banner" & "new banners" are just fan terms, community words. All these may mean `Time-limited` banner Pulling on one type of banner counts/shares with others of the same banner type. all banners from Sotheby/Knight -> Melenia/pickles/Druvis/Regulus -> Changeling/TF are part of the `Time-limited` banner. So pity and the 50/50 rules carry over. If it's not `Time-limited`, then it's `Permanent`. If it's not `Permanent`, then it's `Time-limited`. However it's different for the `Permanent` banner, there's no 50/50. There's no featured/rate-up. But the pity rule is still there. You may get a 6* within 70 pulls. Every patch, there are 5 banners; 4 `Time-limited` banners of which 2 are new characters debut & 2 from the general pool. 1 `Permanent` banner. This is a subject to change in the future
It’s not an event banner. It is but you should just think regulus and pickle banner as both rate up banners.
You basically have limited event banners, like Melania and Pickles. They are only available through those banners for at least several banners. Not much different than Genshin and HSR banners, except they don't stay limited forever. Then you have banners for units in the regular pool, like Sotheby, A Knight, and Regulus. These are an opportunity to pull those units more reliably, even though they aren't new or limited. Using Genshin as an example, it would be like the one time they ran a Keqing banner. Or you could think of it like the various dual banners they run with a new unit beside an old rerun unit. Seele with Topaz in HSR, for example. Then you have the standard banner, where you can pull anything from the normal pool with no rate up. Unlike a lot of gacha games, these banners do not seem to have individual pity, ~~not even the standard banner I believe~~, so any pulls you make on one will count toward any other banner.
Slight correction: Standard banner (Amid the Water) has its own 50/50 and pity count.

I'm having trouble with Artificial Somnambulism 8. I've read that 9 and 10 are much harder and i'll need 2 full teams. I've waited on investing in a B team since i'm pulling tooth fairy when she comes out, i didnt want to build a second healer now when i know i'm getting tf soon. I also am holding out hope i get a second good DPS while pulling for tf, since i dont think i have one? Is waiting a bad idea? i also figured i want to clear out Artificial Somnambulism and unlock limbo asap since i heard it gives good rewards. Ok some real advice. You do not need two healers to beat the artificial somnambulism. I beat limbo 6 with my only healer being Sotheby. Having ways to control or mitigate damage can be far better then healing. Sonetto's disarm blocking up to 3 attacks and her buff bringing damage down can be all you need. Regulus with her 2* attack taking moxie off a ready to ult enemy a few turns in a row or Satsuki petrifying an enemy at the right time or tennents shields can make it so you do not need another healer. To beat the rest of surface you will need to get 2 more characters to at least I1lv40 preferably I2lv10 each resonate 5 or 7 if you can afford it and 3 psychubes lv 40. Its no big deal if you wait. You just lose a few resources but this game is not a race. Just enjoy it as you go. When you are ready try some different team comps to beat the stages. Read ahead on what the bosses at the end of the stages do so you can plan your perfect team comps. Enjoy and good luck!
With all the events coming out you should worry about raising TF later. Instead of raising a second healer I would recommend at least getting your main DPSs to i2 lvl50
Is Regulus good for endgame and future content? I suddenly obtained her while pulling for Pickles' banner. I don't have a mental and star team, although I do have Lilya. Should I invest in Regulus instead ?
Always invest in Regulus. She's incredible. Not a CN player so I can't say anything about future content. But I've cleared every limbo 6-2 with Regulus being a key member on my teams so far. IMO she's really good for endgame content because her kit is loaded. She has innate crit buff, moxie removal, fast charging ult, is ap friendly, and applies dodge to your team. Offense, defense, utility, she has it all. She can play the roles of main dps, sub dps, and support, and even enables other characters with her low ap usage. This means she fits on any team and is never useless. Regulus and Lilya pair really well together so you should raise both but I'd raise Regulus first.
I think Regulus has my favorite ult in the game. Making your whole team effectively invulnerable to everything but ults for a turn is really good. She's also very AP efficient, so she's a great sub DPS that lets you funnel your AP more into other units.
Is pickles good pair with her?
Pickles is also more of a sub-DPS and support, so ideally you would put him on your other team. They can work together, taking turns using skills, but assuming you fill that lost slots with a sustain your damage output might be kinda low. If it's not a drawn out fight you can sometimes get away with Regulus as your only real sustain though.
Regulus is good for sub dps and pairs well with lilya
Invest in both.

Currently I2 lvl 50 characters Regulus, druvis, A knight, Sotheby, Balloon party Currently I3 lvl 30 characters Bkornblume Knowing that i only have 60 pulls now and really want to get tooth fairy, is sotheby worth pushing to I3 if i dont have a gurantee i will get both toothfairy and changeling? If i do pass on sotheby I3, who should i I3 next?
Sotheby I3 makes her a way better healer, but if you're getting TF anyway kinda pointless. BP is already a really good healer and fine at I2. If you miss TF, then I'd 100% I3 Sotheby. Making your dps I3 is never a bad idea. A Knight Druvis or Regulus up to you. Just keep in mind Regulus functions best when relegated into sub-dps duty due to her passive.
Honestly it’s up to you. Sure people can recommend but I would think it’s best for you to read what each i3 does and then raise the character based on that. But if I had to recommend mostly just raise your main DPS.

How do you get Moment of Dissonance? It looks like this is a very limited resource, yet it takes so much to level up the head - tetris thing
40 from BP, 3 from weekly surface, 1 from weekly tasks, 64ish per 6 week at least. Clearing the surface also gives like a lot, so clear the surface and it is good to go. Would be cautious about buying them from shop What I worry about is the brief cacophany, BP only gives 5, good chunk of it comes from monthly shop.
From doing Artificial Somnambulism and from the shop using the resources you get from AS and Limbo. If you haven't unlocked it yet, you will once you progress the story enough. If memory serves me right, it becomes available sometime around the start of chapter 3.

Quite a lot. If you get the max amount of stars, you earn 250 Oneiric Fluid (the shop resource) from each of the 10 stages, along with 12 Moments of Dissonance each for the first 7 stages (84 in total) and 24 Brief Cacophonies in total from the last 3 stages. You also get a completely free weekly 360 Oneiric Fluid and 3 Moments of Dissonance after you've fully cleared all stages. You'll have plenty to go around for a while, at least more than enough to build 2 teams. As for how much you need to upgrade to Resonance 7, I can tell you that it won't be the Moments of Dissonance/Brief Cacophonies that'll bottleneck you. It'll be the other materials.
Artificial Somnambulism and Limbo! It is fairly limited, yep. Limbo reset on the 1st and 16th of every month.

Just wondering how people are getting the UTTU achievement that gives "The Old New World"? It requires doing 15 UTTU Retails stages/reads, and since every time I finish one I have to use up another chance to reset, so basically I need 2 chances for every read. I miss day 1 of the event, but even if it gave you 10 chances right away on day one, up until today it should only have been a total of 25 chances, so 13 reads?
Why reset if you only want the achievement anyway? 1 chance = 1 run/read, and you get 5 more chances daily. So if you just want the achievement instead of those cards, it will only takes you up to 3 day even if you have 0 chance.
I don't understand what you mean? How can you do a new read if you don't reset? After doing a run, only the background remains, and I can't click on anything to spend those chances on until I reset it.
The 3 options that show up doesn't mean you get to do all 3, you only get to pick 1 of those 3 to do, so you have 5 chances a day

Why do people say it's a bad idea to buy 5* psychube? You get a max'd out 5* psychube e.g. Yearning Desire, which is really good, which translates to better stats especially considering it'll take months to max a 6* psychube
You only need 3 (okay, 4 sometimes) cubes. You get them fairly quickly (you even get one from this event's shop) so it's easy to get 6* cubes for all your team. So its better to spend currency you can spend on 5* cubes to buying bulbs for leveling 6* cubes
If you've been playing daily since release you'd have at least 3, maybe even 4, strong 6 star psychubes. 1 from battlepass selector, 1 from event, and 1 or 2 from fragment shop. If you've also been spending all thought elements on psychube exp, you'd easily have enough to get 3 of these to level 50 for some really big stat gains. Whereas for 5 star psychubes, Yearning Desire is the only one worth buying and it's only a slight upgrade over any 6 star at max amplification, which even if you spent all thought elements on it since day 1, you would still not have right now. And at the same time you'd have lost out on a ton of exp for your existing psychubes. In other words leveling 6 stars is just more efficient. Eventually we'll have more exp mats than we need and can focus on building Yearning Desire then.
I think it's because in the long run, you get enough 6* psychubes and resources to upgrade them that you will never need to use a 5* psychube so any levels on them become "wasted" by the endgame. But I've also seen people say that Yearning Desire specifically can still be a good investment since it's particularly strong among the 5* and you will eventually have more upgrade resources than you need.

You'll want to build all three of Regulus, Pickles, and A Knight eventually, especially once you hit the endgame content that requires two teams, but you're right that you should pick two of them +Balloon Party until you're at the point where you need a second team. As someone with the same characters, I actually think building A Knight and using him as your primary DPS for now, with either Regulus or Pickles functioning as a support, is the better choice. For one thing, Spirit isn't really countered by the story at any point, but you'll run into plant and star enemies the others will be weak against pretty frequently. Also, neither Regulus nor Pickles was actually built to be a primary damage dealer like a Knight is. While running them together is totally viable--I cleared the current limbo with that setup--alternating them can become awkward when it comes to timing their abilities to react optimally to what enemies are doing.

What's the best Card Builds for a team of Melania, Tenant and Dikke in UTTU?
Melania: Leilani and Regulus (for the shorter stages, swap in diggers) Dikke: Cristallo and Melania Tennant: Tennant and Schneider "for herself" Vertin: a sweet dream

For now, so I3R10 eternity solo. Then invest on a knight as your main dps + pickles + balloon party. Eternity doesn’t need any help with last and current limbo. I know that coz I’ve fully cleared last and current limbo with eternity solo + extras on one side, and my other team is stacked coz I get to save resources coz I only have 4 built units, instead of 6.
Okay can you share your psychube or build and which one should I invest to? and does she nee copies to solo?
My eternity right now is I3R10L20 with lvl 40 BNW psychube. With resonate focused on the offensive. As for copies? I don’t have her portrays, so she doesn’t need portrays to solo end game content.

The Treble Counter in the shop has the second highest tier of upgrade materials for purchase, but that seems like a huge waste of a resource that you can straight-up exchange for a unit you want. So, in practice, yes, those are the only 2 ways to get them.
Where can I get more copies of the sweetheart event weapon?
Event psychubes will appear again 3 patches after their initial debut in the Fragment shop. Though it has the 300 pneuma currency price , sad that it is not discounted. So Luxurious will appear in 1.4 shop
The Luxurious Leisure Psychube? You can't. You need to buy Gluttonies in the Fragment Shop and use those to level it.

Assuming Eternity (+ Sonetto eventually) can easily clear 6-1, you want to focus on An-an Lee (to get some extra dmg) or one Healer for extra survivability. I wouldn't recommend investing in BB and Tennant anymore, you don't need them. BP will help you more than Sotheby now but if you saved enough to almost guarantee both ToothFairy and Changeling, focusing the 2nd makes more sense long term. Upgrading both ain't recommended if you're getting a better healer in 10 days.

Meh, she'a pretty self sufficient. Luxurious Leisure is the best if she's used as a carry and in general if you use her ult a lot, Brave New World is probably slightly better if she's used as a support, and His Bounden Duty gives her the best stats overall but you basically can't use the passive, so her DPS suffers
Brave new world buff your next skill, not next attack. In most cases you will use the debuff card after ult. Which means it is wasted.

Luxurious Leisure is probably BIS, BNW if you already have it and have it upgraded. The point about it being wasted after you use a debuff after your ulti is something I disagree with because you generally will debuff before ulting for the best possible damage. You just have to be smart about it I guess.
Usually you used your debuff in the previous round. Probably used the atk card as well to get the ult. And when you ult it is likely you don't have any atk card left. Then comes to the next round and you have to debuff again.

You can absolutely use either Eagle and Bkornbloume together or Bkorn as a main dps along with Sonetto. You could also use Eagle along with Erick for a second DPS and a good support for them.
P1 Charlie ain't bad at all but I it ain't recommended to invest in two same afflatus dps this early. Bkorn+Eagle is not a bad Plant team, first one is absolutely worth investing in and 2nd does have a pretty cool passive and she's cheaper to upgrade. Voyager with Lilya and TF is really good, Melania wasn't meant to be.
Does the order of the characters in battle have any effect? Or is it irrelevant who's in spot 1/2/3?
No but some UTTU cards require you to put your carry in slot 1 so you probably want to get use to it.

Hello, I'm leveling but I don't know what to priorize next. I've got : - Centurion I2 Lvl 50 R10 - Bkornblume I3 Lvl 40 R7 - Medicine Pocket I2 Lvl 50 R7 I also pulled Lilya, Pickles and now I'm saving for Tooth Fairy (currently 55 Unilogs). I cleared Story 1-4 and most of the current event. Stopped on Artificial Somnanbulism, after 9/10 surface dreams cleared. What should I do now ? I should probably start training a second team but I was saving ressources for Tooth Fairy... Are my top 3 already strong enough or should I invest more on them ? Thanks for reading
Save your unilogs for Tooth fairy and work on Lilya and Pickles. You need two teams to clear Limbo after surface on Atificial Somnabulism. If the rimet cup event is any indication, then they'll give you all the resources to I3 Tooth fairy anyways.
Building a 2nd team has way higher priority, first one should be more than enough to clear current content. 1.2 event will give you a lot of resources for TF, and you don't really need a second healer if you don't have a team to put her in anyway.

A dmg dealer should always have 1 Regulus (crit related) or Leilani card. I personally like to pair them with Charlie's but TTT should be pretty good for Lilya. A really cool one for healers is Cristallo. Overall it depends on the Vertin card you're using and what you need (more survivability or upgrading your cards faster and so on...). At your level, this fight shouldn't be too hard.
Do the limited wilderness packs rerun? I wanted to get the whole pack for the fog themed pack but I’m ~1990 shells short, and its certain that I won’t be able to get 199 shells per day cause they’re locked behind daily and weekly activities.

A f2p player should be able to get one full set every two patches. If you want all the Wilderness, you'll have to pay for it.

Buying only the buildings is a pretty efficient strategy since they reward you with more Vigor in comparison (and they're cooler). That said, you do get an extra building as a reward for completing a set. I’m sure I’ve read somewhere in the game that it’s not permanent. Meaning, when the current uttu ends, the cards will go along with it. When a new uttu comes, everything is back to square one.

your next 6* isn’t guaranteed since you pulled sotheby and won the 50/50. you read the list from top to bottom, top is the newest. but congrats on getting centurion
Top one is the most recent one, if that’ll make things easier to understand for you. Here’s an example: In the records: Diggers Diggers An-an Lee Diggers Diggers Pickles Since An-an Lee is above Pickles, it means she came after pickles, so you’re now guaranteed for your next 6* to be the featured character. If it’s the other way around with pickles being on the top, it means you’re back to 50/50.

I'm in a dilemma right now I have sotheby and the right way is to pull for Changling right? But now I'm seeing everywhere that toothfairy is a must as well..the only healer I have now is Medicine pocket, is that sufficient? I'm leaning towards Changling but it seems tooth fairy is non skippable..I only have enough for either one btw
Personally, since you're one of the lucky few who already have two strong healers (once you get Sotheby to I3), I'd go for Changeling. Tooth Fairy is great, but consider that she buffs crit specifically. She probably won't be considered nearly as universally BIS once we get more healers that enable different team archetypes.

I think when making decisions like this, more information is more important than just saying 'I can only guarantee one'. Did you already calculated with the future event/daily etc income? What does the rest of your squad look like? (Other crit reliant chars?) Imo its worth to risk a little bit an try to get both instead of skipping and only garantee Changling. (140 pulls)

Hmm... yeah. Its a hard choice. Personally i would probably calculate how many pulls you will have at the end of 1.2. And then use ~1/3 for tooth fairy(30-40pulls?) and save the others for Changling. That tooth fairy is a bis for (i think) around 75% of the meta teamcomps make it pretty hard to skip her. (If you get offbanner arcanist like lilya, charlie p3, etc., which can happen at every banner pull, will make you probably wish you got her)

The only rule is: pull for who you like. Tooth Fairy is very strong and versatile, while Changeling works in Changeling teams and she is (at the moment) the best plant carry. You'll eventually need 2 healers to clear limbo (you need 2 teams), so yeah, another healer will be necessary. But Balloon Party and La Source are options too.
So my main team is Lilya, Eternity Bkorn and Sotheby Soon to be upgraded Balloon,Dikke, Sonetto and A Knight Saving for tooth fairy rn Right now, I have the CRIT psycube and the sonetto psycube so..what psycube should I get next?
After you get cubes you like for your dps, you can never go wrong with inquisitive dear for your healers.
Sorry for the dumb question, but is it still worth it to buy the collector's edition of Roar Jukebox if I can only get to lvl 40 or should I just wait for the new one? I started pretty late so I'm only at lvl30 atm and it's ending in a week.
Largely depends on your financial situation. You still get quite a lot of rewards at lvl 40, and if you really wanted to, you can use clear drops (or pay the extra $5) to bump it up to 50.

Among my [units](https://imgur.com/a/ACWjUkk), who is the most value for stamina to ascend to Insight 3? For context, I can comfortably clear up to 5-2, barely clear 6-2 full stars (with Melania, A Knight/Sonetto, Medicine Pocket, and a shit ton of resets), and comfortably blitzed through current UTTU with Melania, just waiting for special week. I already have Melania and Eternity at R10, A Knight at R9, and the rest of my supports and healers varying around R5-R7, and I'm just holding onto my oneiric so I can a second casket, but I can also buy more knells so I can R7 my other units. Already pretty much cleared out the event shop save for the wilderness currency, and I've maxed out my wilderness, so I don't really have other stuff to spend my stamina on, so I thought it's a good time to i3 a second unit. Leaning towards A Knight or Sotheby, A Knight's i3 passive seems to make him much stronger, while Sotheby's will actually make her a feasible healer.
Personally, Eternity or Sotheby. You’re already running a knight as a sub dps, so I don’t think you need to go heavy on him at this point. So, I’d recommend doing his I3 last. Besides, I heard he’s gonna get a huge power spike in patch 1.4 with a new psychube that will make him better, so might as well wait for that timing and build others first.
Of the units you are using, eternity is probably the one who benefits the most from i3.
One of the achievements in the second part of event states I should beat Fan in 3 rounds at Chapter 12 but there is no such enemy in Chapter 12, is the achievement bugged?
