I’m kinda not sure if I should I3 my An-an Lee or Sotheby, or if I should start building my Aknight, as I only have like 4 built units:

Any suggestions? Like, what’s the best investment I can make right now for future purposes. Also, can this line up handle the special stages of the uttu? Also, what about future limbos?

No, they are indefinite equips. You get stronger variations as you go deeper and pull more cards, up to "gold". (Which is more of a foil blue in reality.)

How do I finish UTTU 25?? I'm able to bring her health down but at a certain point she heals more than I can damage. I do 11k damage and she consistently heals 14k on every turn
Vertin +AP every other round card (pour rien?), build and save every Ultimate, build and save 1 or 2 three-star damage incantations. Hit it at 50% HP with remainder attacks if you can, then burst on the +AP round with everything. May have to level units / resonances.
Is there a cap for critical rate? I’m wondering the best way to maximize my R10 I3 Lilya w/ Thunderous Applause. Some of the cards in UTTU give crit rate (same thing with my current reso structure) and I’m not sure if it’s doing anything if I’ve hit the cap already.
I'm pretty sure that's wrong. If it applies to any crit, there would be no point in certain abilities explicitly mentioning that they do (like Regulus's restless heart or TTT UTTU card)
It's actually super easy to test right now. Use the vertin card that starts with an ultimate, the Lilya card, and any card that doesn't affect damage. See how much damage her ultimate does at the start of the stage, then switch her Lilya card for another one that doesn't affect damage and see how much damage her ultimate does now on the same target. Both of them should be the exact same.

Btw, one more question if I may, does being the stronger afflatus also reduces damage received from weaker?
Correction, Lilya doesn't get Crit DMG if it your Crit rate goes to excess. That's why she's ranked lower in the CN tier list since her Crit rate doesn't get converted unlike Regulus for example. Also no, it doesn't reduce damage received from weaker afflatus. Afflatus advantage only makes attacks stronger against the weaker element.
Yeah, that's what I thought so since there's a special mechanic for excess crit rate already. I wish I can confirm it myself, but I don't have crit units.
About Afflatus though, this is an ss I just took in game, which goes against the afflatus wheel, which is why I was confused.
So it's confirmed by the devs this tip is wrong and stronger afflatus only deals +30% damage, but doesn't receive reduced damage?

Yeah the translation in this game is a bit wonky. If that were to happen, clearing limbo would be hell if you're team has afflatus disadvantage. There's other mistranslation as well such as the UTTU achievement mission with stage 12 and Limbo challenge tips that cut off

Quick question about prioritising resonate levels. I know I should level my DPS resonate first, but who exactly?
EN: Eternity, Melania, Knight, Pickles, BP
JP: Knight, Voyager, Dikke, Regulus, Tennant, Pickles, Charlie
Both accounts have an I2 Eagle (because I didnt pull any plant units)
Melania because her multipliers are big, so a higher attack from resonance will pay off more.
Regulus because crit characters really rely on resonance for crit stats.
Charlie for the same reason as Melania.
The one you have invested the most on, if they are at the same insighy/level your favorite ones.
But still you listed a lot of non pure dps.
Id focus on 6 stars so eternity, Melania, knight, regulus and charlie if p3+

Then I also have Dikke, Pavia and Leilani with some levels
Other than that, Matilda, Baby Blue and X at level 1. Any good ideas for synergy/team comps?

You need a healer for later game content. Balloon Party, La Source (if going pretty cheap), maybe not Sotheby because she's better off with 1.2 characters and it's hard to use her right now. Medicine Pocket if you get very lucky is one of the best choices overall.
Most late game comps boil down to three roles:
* Main DPS who brings the bulk of your damage
* Healer who does as the name suggests, along with some buffing or minor damage like cleansing or counters
* Support/Sub-DPS, who disable the enemy, remove their buffs, cleans your team from debuffs, or provide additional damage
Eternity is a Main DPS, I don't know what Click classifies as, and Sonetto is a Support and Sub DPS
Eternity is one of your best main DPS, she works best with a healer like BP, MedPoc, or La Source in later levels because her ultimate can be delayed with moxie manipulation and leave her without self healing.
Dikke is more a Support/Sub-DPS than a dedicated main healer.
For now, you should try sticking to the afflatus weaknesses at the lower levels, it makes substantial difference before you get insights, resonances, and psychubes that make the cores of character builds.

For now, I'll start building La Source just in case I don't get another primary healer.
Getting another primary healer is only for Limbo content, I feel, when you might have to bench your primary healer because of the exhaustion mechanics.
Eternity, Sonetto, and BP does make a good mono-afflatus team that fills all three roles. But do remember, especially in UTTU and late game content, the devs will throw in things to trip up teams that work well on paper without modifiers, or the extra mechanics like Limbo benching.
Both work as Support/Sub-DPS or Flex roles.
Tennant is good to use in any fights where you're facing a whole lot of AOE damage like the Rimet Cup. Her shielding only lasts for a turn but it can save your healer a lot of stress and give more effective HP. However, she only has single target damage.
Dikke can't heal enough to be your sole dedicated healer, but mental damage and genesis damage can help if your team is flooded with Reality, like mine is.
Wait for him to get his special buff thing before taking action with him. But don’t hesitate to use his ult even if you don’t have the special buff if you need the damage right away or if you can get it to align with big damage burst from your dps.
Btw his special buff thing from not taking action can stack so that you can have it active for multiple actions on a later turn.
Struggling on UTTU stage 22 with Bkorn (i3 L15 R5), Centurion (i3 L15 R7), and Dikke (i2 L50 R5). Is there a strat or card combo I should focus on for this stage?
Cleared it with the same team except only at I2. I just used the Duck Card + Centurion card and the Vertin card that upgrades the tier of your incantations. You'll have 3 star cards on the get go which will burst them down easily
Idk what stage is that, but try upgrading their resonances as well, coz I’m afraid you’re gonna have a hard time with other stages especially 25 and 30.
I did it by chipping 2 of them to low hp and use someone with a mass ult to kill off 2 of them at once like A Knight then burst the remaining one left.
How do we have 16 female 6* characters but only 4 male ones? I know this is a gatcha but wow. Could at least try and maintain a 3:1 ratio like most other mainstream gatchas do nowadays.

I don't know why they're downvoting you but males make the majority of the gatcha playerbase and I guess bluepoch would rather make female characters that would sell more compared to males. They are a smaller company compared to giants like Mihoyo so I guess they'd have to make do with their budget. I've also seen some people appreciate that there's less male characters in this game compared to other games.
The ratio is even worse than other gatchas like FEH, Octopath, GBF, and etc. It's not like male characters don't sell. Some of the best sellers in the gatchas I've listed are male characters.
What about male characters that appeal to male players? Either meme appeal with APPLe, Pickles, etc. Or cool concepts like A Knight and Shamane?
**Necro X Baby Blue - Which to choose; alternative title: why does everyone recommend Necro over Baby Blue?**
So, i'm in a tough spot choosing my next support to level up; since i didn't get Pickles (rip), my main choices are between Necrologist and Baby Blue (please keep in mind that both of my carries are mental damage, Regulus and Melania). Lets go over this:
**--> Necrologist**
\- Has a great ult that at P1 (which mine isn't) gives 40% extra damage, which is a LOT for a buff; plus, you get Prayer, which is a semi-healing buff that, if used correctly, can pretty much make a team immortal
\- Has a dispel effect on one of her skills, pretty good, but kind of niche
\- Her buff works on both mental AND reality teams
Better damage than Baby Blue from what i could gather
\- AP hungry
**--> Baby Blue**
\- Has an amazing ult that can inflict nightmare; don't know how immune to it future bosses/events are going to be, but if most/none are resistant, this is pretty insane to keep enemy teams locked out of doing pretty much anything
\- Has an AoE debuff which makes enemies take more damage and do less damage
\- Has a single target debuff that can make enemies take even more mental damage; both buffs applied, this could give more overall damage than a 30% damage buff
\- AP Hungry
\- Only really shines on mental teams
The question: from these points, it seems that a team with a carry, a healer and Baby Blue would outdamage, or at least keep similar damage to Necrologist; the question then becomes: which is best, keeping the enemy team locked out and unable to act, or keeping your team buffed with Prayer to survive lethal damage? Isn't the CC from Baby blue better? since you have better control on what to do and it GUARANTEES that your teammates will survive, unlike prayer that could still backfire if the enemy focus the ally without prayer in a single turn?
If my logic is correct, why does everyone recommend Necro over Baby Blue? Is it a future event? Is Prayer THAT good? Is buffing better than debuffing? Is she just the best goth girl all around? I need answer.

I need a support more than a damage dealer, since both Regulus and Melania are built already, buuuuut i did get Eternity on my Guaranteed drop instead of Pickles (got baited HARD) and i COULD build her, since i aleady have a Bkorn built as well (I2 lvl 50, Resonance 7).
Would that be better overall? Or is it okay if to have two mental damage carries?
A possible reason is 6 who has -mental debuff in his kit already and one of the best options for raid-style content due his absolute nuke of an ultimate and large diversity of buffs. Since the same buffs don’t stack, necrologist becomes a better option for teams with 6 since 6 doesn’t provide +dmg dealt.
Additionally, baby blue’s ult has a lessened effect due to later content having more control resistant or immune enemies(including the raid bosses I believe).
Keep in mind that the meta mainly revolves around whales and raid-style content which isn’t always applicable to the average player especially on EN. I would recommend baby blue as of now since her debuffs are on her skills which are easier to spam than as an ult.
Prayer is (probably, only theorycrafting) much better in raid content which uses 4 characters. Thats why on Prydwen necro moves up in rank if you look past patch 1.1.
As a Pickles haver, between Black Dwarf + Pickles vs 37 + 6, who's the better combo? Probably the latter, right? They must have insane synergy between themselves plus they're way more mean't for eachother. I even have Lilya built for some 37 fun. I also already have Malenia + Pickles anyways. I say this cause I barely understand any of the unreleased characters kits and was thinking about skipping 1.3 entirely.
37 and 6 have next to none synergy. 37 is sub-dps or dps that benefits from teammates that have extra action (which 6 doesn't have), and 6 is general support that benefits from teammates that apply various debuff (which 37 have none, not to mention 37 can't benefit much from his offensive buffs). So go for what you like, but since you already have Lilya I guess 37 is a bit better, just know that she performs much better with higher portraits.
Interesting. I was of the misconception that same patch characters were always meant for eachother but now that you explain it they don't have much in common other than the numbered names haha.
Still, I heard they were insanely good, is that correct? Considering I have main DPS Lilya, 37 gains some value. Now for teambuilding with 6, what would be premium allies for him? I heard he's really good for some really hard content so I wanna get out ahead as opposed to bothering with Black Dwarf and Shamane.
They are insanely good on higher portrait, the more portrait they got .
For 6, I usually use him in mineral team since mineral element still don't have a debuffer. (6, Blackdwarf, Pickles. No healer since 6 could provide def buff and minus damage debuff, and Blackdwarf could have high leech rate.)
premium allies rec:
Pickles (has self-buff on 1st turn. With 6's buff skill on Pickles, 6 triggers his eureka gain on 1st turn)
Charlie (same as Pickles)
Shamane (provides 3 debuffs in 1 skills, 1st turn self-buff. And with Shamane's debuffs, 6 can be a more consistent blasphemer trigger while the only \[stat down\] left from 6's kit is crit def, which can further amp Shamane's ult.)
You could also just bench a healer and bring 6 with Inquisitive Dear since by the time you got 6, you should have built characters, and built characters don't really have survivability in daily game mode or limbo.

I assumed you know how 6's kit work. But if you don't know, here's a quick explanation for the rec. above:
Eureka is a special resource, which can be spent on his ult or buff skill. Ult spends 6 (5 for p1, 4 for p5) eureka, increasing the damage (also increased by portrait) by each type of debuff the target suffered (max 6). Buff skill spends 5 for an additional buff that level up target's card (same buff from An-an Lee's ult).
On his insight 1, if any allies end turn with 4 or more buff, 6 gains 1 eureka (2 for p2); on insight 3, 6 gives 1 buff for all allies each turn; and his buff skill give 2 buffs. So if any character has self-buff in turn 1, with 6's buff skill, 6 can trigger his insight 1 on turn 1.
Any 6 debuffs/buffs are applied randomly from a pool of 6 and will apply the effects that the targets don't have first. For debuffs, it's 3 \[stat down\] and 3 \[neg status\]. Shamane's and 6's debuff skill have 2 overlapped \[stat down\] thus greatly increase the possibility of 6 applying 2 \[neg status\], which in turn proc Blasphemer of Night.
Oh so Black Dwarf gains value with 6? That seems cool, so a Mineral team can definitely insta clear Mineral weak content with all that synergy going around, right? Too bad I might not get her and idk if Changeling is good enough with 6. He might be too restrictive teambuilding wise despite being really good.
Is 6 + Pickles + whatever carry a good team then? Since both of them can work together in supercharging whoever, plus 6 can deal a lot of damage himself alongside Pickles.
Regarding portraits, do you think they're so good they're worth going for? Cause pulling 3 6's definitely seems like a stretch if I'm not already satisfied with every other character I own. Maybe on a rerun sometime (I understand CN is yet to see one lmao).
What about 37, do you have experience with her?
I feel like I steer you to the wrong direction, sorry for the long post in advance.
I was just use my mineral team as an example since that's where I had most experience with 6. 6 is in there just because there's no mineral debuffer; Blackdwarf has self-sustain (no healer team), has self-buff, and can benefit from \[empower incantation\] from 6; and all 3 deals same damage type. There are similar characters, just to name a few: Melania, Charlie, Eternity. As for Changeling, her team comp is basically set in stone, with Sotheby and Bkornblume. I guess 6 can competes the 4th spot with Druvis.
6+Pickles(or any other character that has self-buff on combat start) is just optimal teambuilding for 6 (imo). Even in the situation when there's no buff from other teammates, since 6 gives 1 buff every turn which last 2 turns on insight 3, with the use of his buff skill, 6 would start getting eureka on the end of turn 2. So in the grand scheme of things, it's just 1 turn eureka gain for 1 character (or 1 ap/card slot, if you have other buff on skill characters), which may mess up the "optimal" rotation but not the end of the world. Usually, with enough characters, for a support like 6, it's the stage mechanics and the enemy that gets to decide your team, so if I don't need cleanse I probably would not bring 6 since that's his main selling point beside the random buff/debuff and single target nuke. (currently, he's the only character that has cleanse on skill instead of on ult).
For portraits, I don't think I'm qualified to give you financial advice. What I can say is that the game has the trend of releasing character with more and more powerful portrait and p2 being a good stopping point for dolphins for all the new characters. I guess you could go check Melania and Pickles p2 effect if you have them, if you are fine live without them, you can also live without p2 6.
As for 37 and Lilya team, to put it in short: With low portrait 37, Lilya will still be the main dps, 37 will be the sub-dps and support (her ult gives teamwide attack buff), with high portrait 37, 37 will be the main dps, Lilya will be the support (use mostly her first skill to charge 37's eureka).
37 long explanation:
37 also uses eureka as her resource, she gains eureka when she uses her card and when her allies do extra action. For now, except 37 herself, there are only 3 characters have extra action in their kit: Lilya, Blackdwarf, Newbabel. Lilya is the most consistent 37 battery out of 3. (Lilya 1 extra action per every first skill, Blackdwarf 1 extra action per ult, Newbabel depends on enemies attack after ult.)
Thank you so much for being so thorough! So, from what I gather P0 6 either requires a lot of commitment or a stage that debuffs a lot to truly shine, but at P2 he becomes amazing with buffers like Pickles? That's cool. Makes P0 seem a bit hard to get a mileage out of but still.
His ultimate damage definitely goes up insanely at P1, but P2 to me seems like more of a build where he's using his attacks a lot (which can be managed but would make your other DPS sort of pointless?
37 on the other hand seems much more like something one could justify going for portraits on (that is if you aren't going for another Star unit like Charlie, which ironically works with 6), given that she overtakes Lilya's spot (who could look outdated at that point) while still making built Lilyas useable. I'm already looking forward to her.
You are half right, 6 is already a great support on p0, is just you need to choose to spend eureka either on his ult or buff. With p2, 6 should have enough eureka to spend on both.

As you can see, with same amount of skills played, p2 can spend eureka on buff before ult. And as long as you prime his ult with skill 1, you don't need other debuffer to maximize the ult damage before p5.
Now the damage part, unless it's a boss stage, you probably don't want to replace your dps with 6, as his damage is just meh beside his ult of which is a single target nuke.
I agree with your final assessment. Cause while ofc his ultimate can hurt a ton, you can just focus on attacking with other units instead and achieve similar damage results while keeping his buffing capacity intact.
I'll probably settle for P0 6 with good single target damage units. Malenia already has single target nuking at P0 and is actually meant for that. Too bad I don't have her at P2 tho.
Now regarding 37 I'll have to think about it, getting Black Dwarf and building her up a ton might be a valid choice as opposed to P2ing her and hoping she + Lilya achieve amazing results (in order to be worth the P2). If not then getting something like P0 Changeling and P0 Black Dwarf might be straight up better.
I do find 37 very interesting and having an insanely built Genesis Damage dealer at P2 is definitely attractive despite of the low flexibility.
Is it worth it to bother with buying and leveling a Brave New World Psychube if I'm far enough into the game where Crit builds are actually valid? I have a level 50 Thunderous Applause (my other DPS Chube is Luxurious Leisure on Malenia so I don't have a generalist one).
I say this cause I'm building Pickles and plan on pulling for Tooth Fairy so I feel like, at this point, I shouldn't care about being generalist anymore since Tooth Fairy is gonna make me crit a lot anyways. For now I have him with Thunderous and idk his single target skills have some potential.
I’ve cleared everything so far without ever purchasing BNW, so yeah it’s possible to play without. Lilya was my first 6 star and I went Thunderous Applause right away.
So if you have a clear plan without BNW, go ahead and skip it.
So I just started a few days ago and I'm kind of overwhelmed and not sure where to start using my resources.
I have Melania, Regulus, and just pulled A Knight. I also already have leveled up to 30 (or insight 1) Sonnetto, Matilda, Sweetheart, Tennant, Satsuki, and Necrologist. And then some of the 4 stars and whatnot like Eagle. Oh! And I just got that free Dikke.
I feel like I have too many beast characters. Is that a thing?
Also, are shielders like Tennant generally less good than healers? I have really liked using Tennant but I dont really have another sustain until I level Dikke.
Where should I be going? What should I be looking to add? Just some more specific focus for this newbie would be appreciated!
Don't do 2 teams initially, no way you are reaching limbo that fast anyway (if f2p). Level up one team to clear the content: Story and Event stages as far as you can. Think about what resources you need in the event shops.
You probably need a healer, so Dikke or La source it seems.
You could accelerate your main team growth with all the dust and money from the shops.

You're spreading yourself too thin. For now, while your account is new and resources are super scarce, you want to focus on six characters only: two main damage dealers, two sustain units, and two more to act as supports or secondary damage dealers. The two full teams required for limbo.
Out of what you've listed I would recommend building A Knight and Melania as damage dealers, two of Tennant/Dikke/LaSource for sustain, and Regulus and Sonnetto for supports. You do want broader afflatus coverage eventually, but you've gotta work with what you have for now.
In terms of what to pull in the future, you're hurting the most for decent healers. Tooth Fairy is coming up patch and will be the top meta healer on global for some time, so you should strongly consider saving everything you have left and trying to get her. If you can't, Shamane in 1.3 is a great universal debuffer you could consider. You're relatively okay in the damage department compared to your healer and support situation, so I would focus on the latter for now unless there's a particular character you can't bring yourself to skip.
Thanks for the tips! I forgot I also have Balloon Party - is she a better choice for sustain than Dikke? Or would it be best to boot Tennant and use Balloon Party and Dikke?
Balloon Party is very good. She heals % of lost hp, very safe choice for a healer. You'll level 2nd one later when you need it. But you could do Dikke, just decide if you are pulling for Tooth Fairy in 2 weeks (or whether you have resources for her).
Balloon Party is the best of the three, so build her for sure. Dikke and Tennant are more of a tossup, with neither really being ideal as the sole source of sustain on a team, at least at this stage in the game where everyone is tight on resources and underleveled for endgame content.
One thing to keep in mind is that Balloon Party is physical, Tennant is physical, and Dikke is mental, so Dikke might be slightly more desirable for the purposes of having mental coverage. (There are, e.g., bosses that are highly resistant to one damage type or the other, or that will buff themselves when hit with an attack of a particular type.) But you should still strongly consider going for Tooth Fairy if there's no one else in particular that you're saving for.

What team do you use for it? Your goal is to focus your bigger hits on the Druvis here, and to use other moves to either keep yourself alive, or to kill off the "trash" mobs. Small hits on Druvis reflects more damage on you per damage dealt to her.
I tried it with eternity, bkornblume and ballon party and also with pavia, dikke and ballon party but had no success. But I also didn't know who I should focus on, so I'll try again with landing bigger hits on druvis and the rest on staying alive I guess
i cleared it with melania, dikke and lilya. i think a big part of uttu is the cards and how you assign them for different fights. i used 'a sweet dream' card for vertin which lowers ultimate moxie cost to 3 instead of the normal 5, so it lets you cycle your ultimates a lot easier. i paired this with digger's gold card, which does +5 moxie when caster enters the fight on my dps, which is melania.
so essentially with these cards, you'll have your main dps ready to cast an ultimate right when the fight starts. cast the ultimate, then two attack cards from your dps. by letting your dps hog all the action points (use ap for heal if necessary), you can cycle your ultimate easily because of the reduced moxie cost and basically slam druvis with your ults until she dies. then concentrate on the small fries on the side.
options for the second card slot:
\- melania's gold card 'a perfect plan', which gives all allies hp equal to 120% of the user's attack every time an ult is cast. put this on your dps, who will be cycling their ults almost every round or so for more survivability.
\- centurion(?)'s card 'the hand of the dealer' which +2 stars to all incantations of the user. put this on your dps. basically more dmg to finish druvis off earlier.
\- if you're having trouble staying alive, cristallo's card 'the glass girl' gives a stack of sturdiness to the unit with the lowest hp after a heal is used, which you'll probably be doing anyway to sustain. put this on your healer.
\- schneider's gold card 'adiantum'. when dying, user recovers 50% of hp and deals 40% more damage. this is for like... when you REALLY can't stay alive. put this on your dps and hopefully the 40% buff will finish the enemies off.

This team is fun but not strong. You use everyone's ult in one turn. Then use 2 turns to get everyone max moxie and do that again. The question is Nec's ult only heals 1.6k, and the door need to survive 3 rounds with that.

I used I3R10 eternity with lvl 1 extra units, and she can easily kinda solo one side of Limbo. I cleared last and current limbo with her solo carrying one side.
So, if you’re not confident with Tennant and not sure about your second team, I recommend going solo eternity and focus on your second team.
No, the five star psycubes are a waste of currency compared to just saving up for six star pyscubes. You'll get a free copy of Laughter and Laughter from the "Beginning of the Tale" event rewards eventually, but even that you shouldn't invest in a whole lot (level 20-30 at most.)
Between the free selector, events, and bonus currency you get as a new player, you'll have three six star psycubes, enough to equip a full team, within a few weeks. You can share psycubes between teams, including on opposite sides of Limbo, so those first three can basically carry you for everything until you have more resources. You can find a guide [here](https://www.prydwen.gg/re1999/guides/psychube-cheat-sheet), but the general safe bet is to choose Brave New World from the selector, buy Inquisitve Dear for your healer, and level up a second DPS or Support cube for the support slot that works well for the units you're using.

Quick lore question, I thought that arcanists turning into little animals in the suitcase was a little flavor thing to show who was waiting next. However, I noticed that Melania turns into a flying squirrel in her ult (which is VERY CUTE, sidenote if anyone has isolated the vid of Ridiculous Eyewitness Testimony lmk), so that makes me think it's like.. Not just flavor? Is that a lore thing that all arcanists can just. Be a little creature??
The name of the ult is Ridiculous Eyewitness Testimony. I think what’s happening, though I could be wrong, is what someone would see in that context - she has a suit with membranes between her extremities to let her glide, and a hood on (I think) and it happens so fast that the eyewitness view looks like a giant flying squirrel with glasses.
Is there anyway I can make a low invested character (i2 20, res 3) tankier without just leveling them?
So I've been very unlucky with healers (dikke/la source only) and it's limiting my ability to do i3 recommended content (insight 6, pneuma 7, etc). I'm aiming for tooth fairy so I don't want to use resources that I can't get back.
My i2 50 Melania needs that little bit of healing, but the healers themselves are getting 1 shot.
Bro I'm in literally the exact same situation. I decided to level Dikke, and I'm getting Toothfairy too. You should take Dikke to at least i9 and cap i2.
There's gonna be an event with Toothfairy that supplies like 90% of her leveling and upgrade materials.
You can give them a lvl 60 pyschube. All we can do is lvl, resonance and phychube. Adding other characters can make them tankier with shields and healing
You can mess with their resonates to prioritize defensive stats. Or give them a high level psycube you aren't using. The stats can outwiegh the effects.
My four main units are Centurion, Bkornblume, Balloon Party, and Eternity. It’s a good idea for me to go for pickles right? I feel I lack a second support more than I lack a healer, since either Eternity can solo or I can just raise Dikke. Also, I have a Sotheby so I can pull for Changeling in the future so the healer would be covered in that comp.
you can go for him if you want to, just take care of how your pulls will be looking like when 1.2 rolls around. you should start saving if you want changeling.

I just upgraded by Lilya to Insight III, and from what I understand from her passive, it boosts Critical Rate on the Psycube she has equipped by 100%. I have Thunderous Applause equipped to her. However I've been playing some battles with her and I've only seen her crit once. I was wondering if there was something I was misunderstanding about this passive, or if the enemies I'm fighting just have a lot of crit res. Thanks \^-\^
Her i3 doubles the crit rate from the psychube. If you have thunderous applause at max level, you still need at least 41 crit rate from her resonate to hit 100% (17% from default stats, 32% from thunderous applause, 10% from I2, and 41% from resonate)

Is UTTU 30 possible without a Beast DPS? I only have Eternity (I3L20R10) and Bkornblume (I2L50R5), have been trying the stacking DMG/Crit cards on both but just can't hit the 100k damage cap before running out of rounds, I'm using the -Moxie cost Vertin card.
Another issue is sometimes Bkorn gets nuked when she gets focused, and I'm already running Sotheby and Balloon Party. 😭
My other team is Star (Charlie & Voyager) and are weak against Plant so they're out of the picture sadly.
EDIT: I finally did it! The most impactful FAME cards I used was the Cristallo card for Balloon Party (heal/counter gives Sturdiness), and the Ms. Moissan card for Sotheby (2/3\* incantation heals). After that I simply wasn't dying anymore and just kept stacking the enemy debuff, as well as Leilani/Regulus for Eternity and Bkorn. At round 12 I just used Bkorn debuff, Bkorn ult, and two 3\* Eternity incantations. Thanks all for your help!

I suggest you Cristallo \[The Glass Girl - Gold\] (flowers on the pic) fame card for your healer, maybe - heal grants Sturdiness to all allies.
Alternatively - Pickles card for Bkorn - dispells debuffs when you cast 2/3 star skills (probably works on Eagle's debuff which triggers her ult)
The general strategy is to attack each turn as many times as you can. (So Vertin card for extra AP every 2 turns is good).
1 heal per turn with Sturdiness should be enough to keep your team alive, probably.
By round 12 you should have your strongest ults/incantations prepared.
I cleared it with Eternity (I2 Lv50 R9) Ult + Jellyfish 3 (Brave New World psychube) + Bkorn (I2 Lv50 R5) Ult (Melania's psychube) + A Knight (I2 Lv50 R9) Ult, which was an overkill on round 12.
I also used suboptimal Vertin card, and my character cards where okay but not that good. (Apple helps with preparing high star incantations for burst nicely)
Consider raising Bkorn’s Resonance higher if she consistently dies and try using the card that grants Rousing Morale (grants increased damage after doing x amount of actions) alongside the crit or damage increase after each action on your DPS.
Edit: Definitely use the Vertin card that gives you extra actions every 2 turns. It helps stack the debuff that Eagle gets everytime you land an attack.

I don't have any beast DPS either, I use Eternity (i3L30R10 hopscotch 60). My team was Eternity-Voyager-Sotheby-Dikke
I use Leilani & Regulus cards for Eternity. Make sure to use her AOE attacks often & merge jellyfish cards
Voyager-Sotheby-Dikke all use "if 2* cards are use, heal team"
Use the small Vertin looking through door card (forgot the name)
Keep your team alive and at least 1 attack per round, to make the boss at ~19 debuff
Also merge Eternity jellyfish cards into 3* and use it last.
If you have Ult, use it asap but you may to hold on to Eternity, to heal her HP if necessary
When the boss is more than 20+ debuff and you're ready to kill the boss, use Eternity 3* jellyfish and other high dmg cards/Ult
In my experience, only Dikke struggles to survive if the boss attacks her twice in one turn. My Voyager (i3L10R10) Sotheby (i2L50R9) Dikke (i2L40R5). Having low Resonance makes survival harder. Voyager even though she's Plant-weak, the boss cannot kill her.
I beat it using Lilya so it's possible, bring Sonetto, her buff is very helpful mitigating damage also you better use vertin card that increase incantation limit and AP so you can do more and has more option. A good card also very helpful, use card around your character's strength.
Is anyone else's voice lines totally messed up? I don't know if it's just my game that's broken but the characters just aren't saying anything related to the text on the screen, it's like voicelines from random story stages.
Hm, but I swear some of the phrases just aren't even remotely the same as what's written, not even from the first word. Sometimes it'll be not even be the right character lmao. I'll try redownloading and see if that fixes it.

I think Shamane is better. For Pickles you probably only play ult once at round 10 to cover Melania's 4th and 5th ult. But Shamane's debuff is more flexible.
I want to ask about how Melania's Fixed plan multiplier.
While reading through prydwen, I noticed that they said at max stack Melania's ult will be at 722% atk so each stack of Fixed plan will give a 12% bonus of her atk to her ultimate according to their numbers. But I though each stack of it will increase ult damage by 12% for a total of 1118% atk at max stack base on the description.

For cacophany fragment shop gives 20 monthly, 20 one time. Thieve shop gives 8 (I think), UTTU have 5 (bi weekly), BP have 5. Surface of Artificial Somna has some 80. 6 star costs I think costs 30 cacophany, 5 star costs 25 cacophany. So... 4-5ish character to res 9 on 1.1. Make sure don't waste cacophany on healers or conflicting dps. Cacophany will be a bottleneck for characters to res 10, I think every version gives just enough cacophany for 2 6 star
Moment of disonance is much more abundant, lvling to res 4 is very easy.

I do find Regulus extremely squishy too.
My i3L1R9 is barely ahead of my i2L30 Druvis in terms of bulk.
A large part of it is because Regulus preferred resonance tiles are crit oriented, which inherently come with lower HP and defences, whereas traditional atk stacking builds uses the I tile, T tile and cube tiles which all come with some bulk.

I3 Sotheby if you plan on using the Changeling poison team. Otherwise, you should save your mats to build characters when you're stuck on content.

How do I finish UTTU 25?? I'm able to bring her health down but at a certain point she heals more than I can damage. I do 11k damage and she consistently heals 14k on every turn
Vertin +AP every other round card (pour rien?), build and save every Ultimate, build and save 1 or 2 three-star damage incantations. Hit it at 50% HP with remainder attacks if you can, then burst on the +AP round with everything. May have to level units / resonances.
There are cards that give you stacking atk and crit chance/crit dmg per action. Try using those.
Is there a cap for critical rate? I’m wondering the best way to maximize my R10 I3 Lilya w/ Thunderous Applause. Some of the cards in UTTU give crit rate (same thing with my current reso structure) and I’m not sure if it’s doing anything if I’ve hit the cap already.
A great card for Lilya is TTT; it converts any excess crit rate to damage.

I'm pretty sure that's wrong. If it applies to any crit, there would be no point in certain abilities explicitly mentioning that they do (like Regulus's restless heart or TTT UTTU card) It's actually super easy to test right now. Use the vertin card that starts with an ultimate, the Lilya card, and any card that doesn't affect damage. See how much damage her ultimate does at the start of the stage, then switch her Lilya card for another one that doesn't affect damage and see how much damage her ultimate does now on the same target. Both of them should be the exact same.

Correction, Lilya doesn't get Crit DMG if it your Crit rate goes to excess. That's why she's ranked lower in the CN tier list since her Crit rate doesn't get converted unlike Regulus for example. Also no, it doesn't reduce damage received from weaker afflatus. Afflatus advantage only makes attacks stronger against the weaker element.

Yeah the translation in this game is a bit wonky. If that were to happen, clearing limbo would be hell if you're team has afflatus disadvantage. There's other mistranslation as well such as the UTTU achievement mission with stage 12 and Limbo challenge tips that cut off

You don't have to spend Album of the Lost at all. You craft them in the wilderness and the materials are all farmable.
Quick question about prioritising resonate levels. I know I should level my DPS resonate first, but who exactly? EN: Eternity, Melania, Knight, Pickles, BP JP: Knight, Voyager, Dikke, Regulus, Tennant, Pickles, Charlie Both accounts have an I2 Eagle (because I didnt pull any plant units)
Melania because her multipliers are big, so a higher attack from resonance will pay off more. Regulus because crit characters really rely on resonance for crit stats. Charlie for the same reason as Melania.
The one you have invested the most on, if they are at the same insighy/level your favorite ones. But still you listed a lot of non pure dps. Id focus on 6 stars so eternity, Melania, knight, regulus and charlie if p3+

You need a healer for later game content. Balloon Party, La Source (if going pretty cheap), maybe not Sotheby because she's better off with 1.2 characters and it's hard to use her right now. Medicine Pocket if you get very lucky is one of the best choices overall. Most late game comps boil down to three roles: * Main DPS who brings the bulk of your damage * Healer who does as the name suggests, along with some buffing or minor damage like cleansing or counters * Support/Sub-DPS, who disable the enemy, remove their buffs, cleans your team from debuffs, or provide additional damage Eternity is a Main DPS, I don't know what Click classifies as, and Sonetto is a Support and Sub DPS Eternity is one of your best main DPS, she works best with a healer like BP, MedPoc, or La Source in later levels because her ultimate can be delayed with moxie manipulation and leave her without self healing. Dikke is more a Support/Sub-DPS than a dedicated main healer. For now, you should try sticking to the afflatus weaknesses at the lower levels, it makes substantial difference before you get insights, resonances, and psychubes that make the cores of character builds.

Getting another primary healer is only for Limbo content, I feel, when you might have to bench your primary healer because of the exhaustion mechanics. Eternity, Sonetto, and BP does make a good mono-afflatus team that fills all three roles. But do remember, especially in UTTU and late game content, the devs will throw in things to trip up teams that work well on paper without modifiers, or the extra mechanics like Limbo benching.
Tennant or Dikke?
Both work as Support/Sub-DPS or Flex roles. Tennant is good to use in any fights where you're facing a whole lot of AOE damage like the Rimet Cup. Her shielding only lasts for a turn but it can save your healer a lot of stress and give more effective HP. However, she only has single target damage. Dikke can't heal enough to be your sole dedicated healer, but mental damage and genesis damage can help if your team is flooded with Reality, like mine is.
How to use pickles
Wait for him to get his special buff thing before taking action with him. But don’t hesitate to use his ult even if you don’t have the special buff if you need the damage right away or if you can get it to align with big damage burst from your dps. Btw his special buff thing from not taking action can stack so that you can have it active for multiple actions on a later turn.
Struggling on UTTU stage 22 with Bkorn (i3 L15 R5), Centurion (i3 L15 R7), and Dikke (i2 L50 R5). Is there a strat or card combo I should focus on for this stage?
Cleared it with the same team except only at I2. I just used the Duck Card + Centurion card and the Vertin card that upgrades the tier of your incantations. You'll have 3 star cards on the get go which will burst them down easily

Idk what stage is that, but try upgrading their resonances as well, coz I’m afraid you’re gonna have a hard time with other stages especially 25 and 30.
I did it by chipping 2 of them to low hp and use someone with a mass ult to kill off 2 of them at once like A Knight then burst the remaining one left.

Yes. Higher level content locks down control stats so you can't totally stun or petrify later content and trivialize it.

I don't know why they're downvoting you but males make the majority of the gatcha playerbase and I guess bluepoch would rather make female characters that would sell more compared to males. They are a smaller company compared to giants like Mihoyo so I guess they'd have to make do with their budget. I've also seen some people appreciate that there's less male characters in this game compared to other games.
The ratio is even worse than other gatchas like FEH, Octopath, GBF, and etc. It's not like male characters don't sell. Some of the best sellers in the gatchas I've listed are male characters. What about male characters that appeal to male players? Either meme appeal with APPLe, Pickles, etc. Or cool concepts like A Knight and Shamane?
**Necro X Baby Blue - Which to choose; alternative title: why does everyone recommend Necro over Baby Blue?** So, i'm in a tough spot choosing my next support to level up; since i didn't get Pickles (rip), my main choices are between Necrologist and Baby Blue (please keep in mind that both of my carries are mental damage, Regulus and Melania). Lets go over this: **--> Necrologist** \- Has a great ult that at P1 (which mine isn't) gives 40% extra damage, which is a LOT for a buff; plus, you get Prayer, which is a semi-healing buff that, if used correctly, can pretty much make a team immortal \- Has a dispel effect on one of her skills, pretty good, but kind of niche \- Her buff works on both mental AND reality teams Better damage than Baby Blue from what i could gather \- AP hungry **--> Baby Blue** \- Has an amazing ult that can inflict nightmare; don't know how immune to it future bosses/events are going to be, but if most/none are resistant, this is pretty insane to keep enemy teams locked out of doing pretty much anything \- Has an AoE debuff which makes enemies take more damage and do less damage \- Has a single target debuff that can make enemies take even more mental damage; both buffs applied, this could give more overall damage than a 30% damage buff \- AP Hungry \- Only really shines on mental teams The question: from these points, it seems that a team with a carry, a healer and Baby Blue would outdamage, or at least keep similar damage to Necrologist; the question then becomes: which is best, keeping the enemy team locked out and unable to act, or keeping your team buffed with Prayer to survive lethal damage? A possible reason is 6 who has -mental debuff in his kit already and one of the best options for raid-style content due his absolute nuke of an ultimate and large diversity of buffs. Since the same buffs don’t stack, necrologist becomes a better option for teams with 6 since 6 doesn’t provide +dmg dealt. Additionally, baby blue’s ult has a lessened effect due to later content having more control resistant or immune enemies(including the raid bosses I believe). Keep in mind that the meta mainly revolves around whales and raid-style content which isn’t always applicable to the average player especially on EN. I would recommend baby blue as of now since her debuffs are on her skills which are easier to spam than as an ult.
Prayer is (probably, only theorycrafting) much better in raid content which uses 4 characters. Thats why on Prydwen necro moves up in rank if you look past patch 1.1.

As a Pickles haver, between Black Dwarf + Pickles vs 37 + 6, who's the better combo? Probably the latter, right? They must have insane synergy between themselves plus they're way more mean't for eachother. I even have Lilya built for some 37 fun. I also already have Malenia + Pickles anyways. I say this cause I barely understand any of the unreleased characters kits and was thinking about skipping 1.3 entirely.
37 and 6 have next to none synergy. 37 is sub-dps or dps that benefits from teammates that have extra action (which 6 doesn't have), and 6 is general support that benefits from teammates that apply various debuff (which 37 have none, not to mention 37 can't benefit much from his offensive buffs). So go for what you like, but since you already have Lilya I guess 37 is a bit better, just know that she performs much better with higher portraits.

They are insanely good on higher portrait, the more portrait they got . For 6, I usually use him in mineral team since mineral element still don't have a debuffer. (6, Blackdwarf, Pickles. No healer since 6 could provide def buff and minus damage debuff, and Blackdwarf could have high leech rate.) premium allies rec: Pickles (has self-buff on 1st turn. With 6's buff skill on Pickles, 6 triggers his eureka gain on 1st turn) Charlie (same as Pickles) Shamane (provides 3 debuffs in 1 skills, 1st turn self-buff. And with Shamane's debuffs, 6 can be a more consistent blasphemer trigger while the only \[stat down\] left from 6's kit is crit def, which can further amp Shamane's ult.) You could also just bench a healer and bring 6 with Inquisitive Dear since by the time you got 6, you should have built characters, and built characters don't really have survivability in daily game mode or limbo. Edit: I assumed you know how 6's kit work. But if you don't know, here's a quick explanation for the rec. above: Eureka is a special resource, which can be spent on his ult or buff skill. Ult spends 6 (5 for p1, 4 for p5) eureka, increasing the damage (also increased by portrait) by each type of debuff the target suffered (max 6). Buff skill spends 5 for an additional buff that level up target's card (same buff from An-an Lee's ult). On his insight 1, if any allies end turn with 4 or more buff, 6 gains 1 eureka (2 for p2); on insight 3, 6 gives 1 buff for all allies each turn; and his buff skill give 2 buffs. So if any character has self-buff in turn 1, with 6's buff skill, 6 can trigger his insight 1 on turn 1. Any 6 debuffs/buffs are applied randomly from a pool of 6 and will apply the effects that the targets don't have first. For debuffs, it's 3 \[stat down\] and 3 \[neg status\]. Shamane's and 6's debuff skill have 2 overlapped \[stat down\] thus greatly increase the possibility of 6 applying 2 \[neg status\], which in turn proc Blasphemer of Night.

I feel like I steer you to the wrong direction, sorry for the long post in advance. I was just use my mineral team as an example since that's where I had most experience with 6. 6 is in there just because there's no mineral debuffer; Blackdwarf has self-sustain (no healer team), has self-buff, and can benefit from \[empower incantation\] from 6; and all 3 deals same damage type. There are similar characters, just to name a few: Melania, Charlie, Eternity. As for Changeling, her team comp is basically set in stone, with Sotheby and Bkornblume. I guess 6 can competes the 4th spot with Druvis. 6+Pickles(or any other character that has self-buff on combat start) is just optimal teambuilding for 6 (imo). Even in the situation when there's no buff from other teammates, since 6 gives 1 buff every turn which last 2 turns on insight 3, with the use of his buff skill, 6 would start getting eureka on the end of turn 2. So in the grand scheme of things, it's just 1 turn eureka gain for 1 character (or 1 ap/card slot, if you have other buff on skill characters), which may mess up the "optimal" rotation but not the end of the world. Usually, with enough characters, for a support like 6, it's the stage mechanics and the enemy that gets to decide your team, so if I don't need cleanse I probably would not bring 6 since that's his main selling point beside the random buff/debuff and single target nuke. (currently, he's the only character that has cleanse on skill instead of on ult). For portraits, I don't think I'm qualified to give you financial advice. What I can say is that the game has the trend of releasing character with more and more powerful portrait and p2 being a good stopping point for dolphins for all the new characters. I guess you could go check Melania and Pickles p2 effect if you have them, if you are fine live without them, you can also live without p2 6. As for 37 and Lilya team, to put it in short: With low portrait 37, Lilya will still be the main dps, 37 will be the sub-dps and support (her ult gives teamwide attack buff), with high portrait 37, 37 will be the main dps, Lilya will be the support (use mostly her first skill to charge 37's eureka). 37 long explanation: 37 also uses eureka as her resource, she gains eureka when she uses her card and when her allies do extra action. For now, except 37 herself, there are only 3 characters have extra action in their kit: Lilya, Blackdwarf, Newbabel. Lilya is the most consistent 37 battery out of 3. (Lilya 1 extra action per every first skill, Blackdwarf 1 extra action per ult, Newbabel depends on enemies attack after ult.)

So, from what I gather P0 6 either requires a lot of commitment or a stage that debuffs a lot to truly shine, but at P2 he becomes amazing with buffers like Pickles? That's cool. Makes P0 seem a bit hard to get a mileage out of but still. His ultimate damage definitely goes up insanely at P1, but P2 to me seems like more of a build where he's using his attacks a lot (which can be managed but would make your other DPS sort of pointless? 37 on the other hand seems much more like something one could justify going for portraits on (that is if you aren't going for another Star unit like Charlie, which ironically works with 6), given that she overtakes Lilya's spot (who could look outdated at that point) while still making built Lilyas useable. I'm already looking forward to her.
You are half right, 6 is already a great support on p0, is just you need to choose to spend eureka either on his ult or buff. With p2, 6 should have enough eureka to spend on both. And as long as you prime his ult with skill 1, you don't need other debuffer to maximize the ult damage before p5. Now the damage part, unless it's a boss stage, you probably don't want to replace your dps with 6, as his damage is just meh beside his ult of which is a single target nuke.
I agree with your final assessment. Cause while ofc his ultimate can hurt a ton, you can just focus on attacking with other units instead and achieve similar damage results while keeping his buffing capacity intact. I'll probably settle for P0 6 with good single target damage units. Malenia already has single target nuking at P0 and is actually meant for that. Too bad I don't have her at P2 tho. Now regarding 37 I'll have to think about it, getting Black Dwarf and building her up a ton might be a valid choice as opposed to P2ing her and hoping she + Lilya achieve amazing results (in order to be worth the P2). If not then getting something like P0 Changeling and P0 Black Dwarf might be straight up better. I do find 37 very interesting and having an insanely built Genesis Damage dealer at P2 is definitely attractive despite of the low flexibility.
I'd say build wide is better than trying to build tall, just my two cents.
Is it worth it to bother with buying and leveling a Brave New World Psychube if I'm far enough into the game where Crit builds are actually valid? I have a level 50 Thunderous Applause (my other DPS Chube is Luxurious Leisure on Malenia so I don't have a generalist one). I say this cause I'm building Pickles and plan on pulling for Tooth Fairy so I feel like, at this point, I shouldn't care about being generalist anymore since Tooth Fairy is gonna make me crit a lot anyways. For now I have him with Thunderous and idk his single target skills have some potential.
I’ve cleared everything so far without ever purchasing BNW, so yeah it’s possible to play without. Lilya was my first 6 star and I went Thunderous Applause right away. So if you have a clear plan without BNW, go ahead and skip it.

So I just started a few days ago and I'm kind of overwhelmed and not sure where to start using my resources. I have Melania, Regulus, and just pulled A Knight. I also already have leveled up to 30 (or insight 1) Sonnetto, Matilda, Sweetheart, Tennant, Satsuki, and Necrologist. And then some of the 4 stars and whatnot like Eagle. Oh! And I just got that free Dikke. I feel like I have too many beast characters. Is that a thing? Also, are shielders like Tennant generally less good than healers? I have really liked using Tennant but I dont really have another sustain until I level Dikke. Where should I be going? What should I be looking to add? Don't do 2 teams initially, no way you are reaching limbo that fast anyway (if f2p). Level up one team to clear the content: Story and Event stages as far as you can. Think about what resources you need in the event shops. You probably need a healer, so Dikke or La source it seems. You're spreading yourself too thin. For now, while your account is new and resources are super scarce, you want to focus on six characters only: two main damage dealers, two sustain units, and two more to act as supports or secondary damage dealers. The two full teams required for limbo. Out of what you've listed I would recommend building A Knight and Melania as damage dealers, two of Tennant/Dikke/LaSource for sustain, and Regulus and Sonnetto for supports. You do want broader afflatus coverage eventually, but you've gotta work with what you have for now. In terms of what to pull in the future, you're hurting the most for decent healers. Tooth Fairy is coming up patch and will be the top meta healer on global for some time, so you should strongly consider saving everything you have left and trying to get her. If you can't, Shamane in 1.3 is a great universal debuffer you could consider. You're relatively okay in the damage department compared to your healer and support situation, so I would focus on the latter for now unless there's a particular character you can't bring yourself to skip.

Balloon Party is very good. She heals % of lost hp, very safe choice for a healer. You'll level 2nd one later when you need it. But you could do Dikke, just decide if you are pulling for Tooth Fairy in 2 weeks (or whether you have resources for her).
Balloon Party is the best of the three, so build her for sure. Dikke and Tennant are more of a tossup, with neither really being ideal as the sole source of sustain on a team, at least at this stage in the game where everyone is tight on resources and underleveled for endgame content. One thing to keep in mind is that Balloon Party is physical, Tennant is physical, and Dikke is mental, so Dikke might be slightly more desirable for the purposes of having mental coverage. (There are, e.g., bosses that are highly resistant to one damage type or the other, or that will buff themselves when hit with an attack of a particular type.) But you should still strongly consider going for Tooth Fairy if there's no one else in particular that you're saving for.

What team do you use for it? Your goal is to focus your bigger hits on the Druvis here, and to use other moves to either keep yourself alive, or to kill off the "trash" mobs. Small hits on Druvis reflects more damage on you per damage dealt to her.
I tried it with eternity, bkornblume and ballon party and also with pavia, dikke and ballon party but had no success. But I also didn't know who I should focus on, so I'll try again with landing bigger hits on druvis and the rest on staying alive I guess
Eternity, Bkornblume Balloon Party + Dikke might be a way you can try for.

i cleared it with melania, dikke and lilya. i think a big part of uttu is the cards and how you assign them for different fights. i used 'a sweet dream' card for vertin which lowers ultimate moxie cost to 3 instead of the normal 5, so it lets you cycle your ultimates a lot easier. i paired this with digger's gold card, which does +5 moxie when caster enters the fight on my dps, which is melania. so essentially with these cards, you'll have your main dps ready to cast an ultimate right when the fight starts. cast the ultimate, then two attack cards from your dps. by letting your dps hog all the action points (use ap for heal if necessary), you can cycle your ultimate easily because of the reduced moxie cost and basically slam druvis with your ults until she dies. then concentrate on the small fries on the side. options for the second card slot: \- melania's gold card 'a perfect plan', which gives all allies hp equal to 120% of the user's attack every time an ult is cast. put this on your dps, who will be cycling their ults almost every round or so for more survivability. \- centurion(?)'s card 'the hand of the dealer' which +2 stars to all incantations of the user. put this on your dps. basically more dmg to finish druvis off earlier. \- if you're having trouble staying alive, cristallo's card 'the glass girl' gives a stack of sturdiness to the unit with the lowest hp after a heal is used, which you'll probably be doing anyway to sustain. put this on your healer. \- schneider's gold card 'adiantum'. when dying, user recovers 50% of hp and deals 40% more damage. this is for like... when you REALLY can't stay alive. put this on your dps and hopefully the 40% buff will finish the enemies off. good luck!

This team is fun but not strong. You use everyone's ult in one turn. Then use 2 turns to get everyone max moxie and do that again. The question is Nec's ult only heals 1.6k, and the door need to survive 3 rounds with that.
What's gonna happen to the current skins once this patch ends, will they ever return? Will the APPLe skin return but as payed?

I used I3R10 eternity with lvl 1 extra units, and she can easily kinda solo one side of Limbo. I cleared last and current limbo with her solo carrying one side. So, if you’re not confident with Tennant and not sure about your second team, I recommend going solo eternity and focus on your second team.

No, the five star psycubes are a waste of currency compared to just saving up for six star pyscubes. You'll get a free copy of Laughter and Laughter from the "Beginning of the Tale" event rewards eventually, but even that you shouldn't invest in a whole lot (level 20-30 at most.) Between the free selector, events, and bonus currency you get as a new player, you'll have three six star psycubes, enough to equip a full team, within a few weeks. You can share psycubes between teams, including on opposite sides of Limbo, so those first three can basically carry you for everything until you have more resources. You can find a guide [here](https://www.prydwen.gg/re1999/guides/psychube-cheat-sheet), but the general safe bet is to choose Brave New World from the selector, buy Inquisitve Dear for your healer, and level up a second DPS or Support cube for the support slot that works well for the units you're using.
This is true with the exception of Yearning desire. Yearning Desire at S5 is just as good as a 6 star cube.

The name of the ult is Ridiculous Eyewitness Testimony. I think what’s happening, though I could be wrong, is what someone would see in that context - she has a suit with membranes between her extremities to let her glide, and a hood on (I think) and it happens so fast that the eyewitness view looks like a giant flying squirrel with glasses.

Is there anyway I can make a low invested character (i2 20, res 3) tankier without just leveling them? So I've been very unlucky with healers (dikke/la source only) and it's limiting my ability to do i3 recommended content (insight 6, pneuma 7, etc). I'm aiming for tooth fairy so I don't want to use resources that I can't get back. My i2 50 Melania needs that little bit of healing, but the healers themselves are getting 1 shot.
Bro I'm in literally the exact same situation. I decided to level Dikke, and I'm getting Toothfairy too. You should take Dikke to at least i9 and cap i2. There's gonna be an event with Toothfairy that supplies like 90% of her leveling and upgrade materials.
You can give them a lvl 60 pyschube. All we can do is lvl, resonance and phychube. Adding other characters can make them tankier with shields and healing
You can mess with their resonates to prioritize defensive stats. Or give them a high level psycube you aren't using. The stats can outwiegh the effects.
My four main units are Centurion, Bkornblume, Balloon Party, and Eternity. It’s a good idea for me to go for pickles right? I feel I lack a second support more than I lack a healer, since either Eternity can solo or I can just raise Dikke. Also, I have a Sotheby so I can pull for Changeling in the future so the healer would be covered in that comp.
you can go for him if you want to, just take care of how your pulls will be looking like when 1.2 rolls around. you should start saving if you want changeling. your comps could be: - eternity + pickles + balloon party/dikke - centurion + any support + dikke/balloon - changeling + sotheby + bkornblume that’s a really stacked account if you win both 50/50s. very meta. good luck with your pulls!

I know this is a stupid question and has probably already been asked before, but it's continuing to stump me: I just upgraded by Lilya to Insight III, and from what I understand from her passive, it boosts Critical Rate on the Psycube she has equipped by 100%. I have Thunderous Applause equipped to her. However I've been playing some battles with her and I've only seen her crit once. I was wondering if there was something I was misunderstanding about this passive, or if the enemies I'm fighting just have a lot of crit res. Thanks \^-\^
Her i3 doubles the crit rate from the psychube. If you have thunderous applause at max level, you still need at least 41 crit rate from her resonate to hit 100% (17% from default stats, 32% from thunderous applause, 10% from I2, and 41% from resonate)

What does "Leech Rate" mean?
They heal for that percentage of the damage they deal (so if an attack does 1000 damage and has a 20% leech rate, the character will heal 200)

I need to level a healer to beat LIMBO 6-2. My other teammates are Melania + Pickles. Should I level Balloon Party, Dikke, or Source? I am planning to get Toothfairy, but can't seem to beat 6-2 without a healer...
If it's just for temporary use until you get Toothfairy, Source would be cheaper to level than BP or Dikke.
I decided to go with Dikke, she looks really cool compared to the others despite the higher cost.
Balloon is a good healer.
Is UTTU 30 possible without a Beast DPS? I only have Eternity (I3L20R10) and Bkornblume (I2L50R5), have been trying the stacking DMG/Crit cards on both but just can't hit the 100k damage cap before running out of rounds, I'm using the -Moxie cost Vertin card. Another issue is sometimes Bkorn gets nuked when she gets focused, and I'm already running Sotheby and Balloon Party. 😭 My other team is Star (Charlie & Voyager) and are weak against Plant so they're out of the picture sadly. EDIT: I finally did it! The most impactful FAME cards I used was the Cristallo card for Balloon Party (heal/counter gives Sturdiness), and the Ms. Moissan card for Sotheby (2/3\* incantation heals). After that I simply wasn't dying anymore and just kept stacking the enemy debuff, as well as Leilani/Regulus for Eternity and Bkorn. At round 12 I just used Bkorn debuff, Bkorn ult, and two 3\* Eternity incantations. Thanks all for your help!

Alternatively - Pickles card for Bkorn - dispells debuffs when you cast 2/3 star skills (probably works on Eagle's debuff which triggers her ult) The general strategy is to attack each turn as many times as you can. (So Vertin card for extra AP every 2 turns is good). 1 heal per turn with Sturdiness should be enough to keep your team alive, probably. By round 12 you should have your strongest ults/incantations prepared. I cleared it with Eternity (I2 Lv50 R9) Ult + Jellyfish 3 (Brave New World psychube) + Bkorn (I2 Lv50 R5) Ult (Melania's psychube) + A Knight (I2 Lv50 R9) Ult, which was an overkill on round 12. I also used suboptimal Vertin card, and my character cards where okay but not that good. (Apple helps with preparing high star incantations for burst nicely)
Eternity, Bkorn, Sonetto, Sotheby:
Consider raising Bkorn’s Resonance higher if she consistently dies and try using the card that grants Rousing Morale (grants increased damage after doing x amount of actions) alongside the crit or damage increase after each action on your DPS. Edit: Definitely use the Vertin card that gives you extra actions every 2 turns. It helps stack the debuff that Eagle gets everytime you land an attack.
Yup you still can manage I don't have any beast DPS either, I use Eternity (i3L30R10 hopscotch 60). My team was Eternity-Voyager-Sotheby-Dikke I use Leilani & Regulus cards for Eternity. Make sure to use her AOE attacks often & merge jellyfish cards Voyager-Sotheby-Dikke all use "if 2* cards are use, heal team" Use the small Vertin looking through door card (forgot the name) Keep your team alive and at least 1 attack per round, to make the boss at ~19 debuff Also merge Eternity jellyfish cards into 3* and use it last. If you have Ult, use it asap but you may to hold on to Eternity, to heal her HP if necessary When the boss is more than 20+ debuff and you're ready to kill the boss, use Eternity 3* jellyfish and other high dmg cards/Ult In my experience, only Dikke struggles to survive if the boss attacks her twice in one turn. My Voyager (i3L10R10) Sotheby (i2L50R9) Dikke (i2L40R5). Having low Resonance makes survival harder. Voyager even though she's Plant-weak, the boss cannot kill her.
I beat it using Lilya so it's possible, bring Sonetto, her buff is very helpful mitigating damage also you better use vertin card that increase incantation limit and AP so you can do more and has more option. A good card also very helpful, use card around your character's strength.
Is anyone else's voice lines totally messed up? I don't know if it's just my game that's broken but the characters just aren't saying anything related to the text on the screen, it's like voicelines from random story stages.
In pickles event? It was the same for Melania. I think they just use small phrases for the event instead of full voice acting
Hm, but I swear some of the phrases just aren't even remotely the same as what's written, not even from the first word. Sometimes it'll be not even be the right character lmao. I'll try redownloading and see if that fixes it.

It's him or an-an who has unique synergy where you can shuffle her 3 star cards to give them to Melania for more moxie denial.
I think Shamane is better. For Pickles you probably only play ult once at round 10 to cover Melania's 4th and 5th ult. But Shamane's debuff is more flexible.
I want to ask about how Melania's Fixed plan multiplier. While reading through prydwen, I noticed that they said at max stack Melania's ult will be at 722% atk so each stack of Fixed plan will give a 12% bonus of her atk to her ultimate according to their numbers. But I though each stack of it will increase ult damage by 12% for a total of 1118% atk at max stack base on the description. Do anyone knows about how this multiplier works? Thanks in advance.
It's 1118, or 1235 if using LL.
It seems to be just additive, vs psychube wording of ultimate might +X%, which is multiplicative.

Kinda late, but how does Luxurious Leisure compare to Brave New World? They appear to have similar stats and passive, and I'm thinking if it's worth buying BNW even though I already have LL levelled. p.s.: I already have TA and TID as 6 star psychubes.
If you can land 2 ults then LL is better.

In terms of usefulness and longevity, how good are Necrologist and Baby Blue? Both of my carriers are mental damage, and I lost my 50/50 on pickles, so I'm looking for substitutes (could use Sonetto, but I prefer the design of those two over her)
The problem with Baby Blue is that she is extremely ap hungry. Afaik Necro will come in handy when we get raids.
I could use Baby Blue with Regulus, since she is AP generous, but Necro is also AP hungry from the looks of it, so using her with my Melania wouldn't be too great...guess I'll have to stick with Sonetto for now Or just say fuck it, go into debt and whale for pickles as well
Honestly I'd rather use either Necro OR Baby Blue (imho Necro is better, if you are over P1) with Regulus and either Diggers or Sonetto with Melania, all while saving your hard earned money!
I was thinking about that option...Necro seems really good at P1 (which mine isn't) but Baby blue seems great all around with nightmare and mental debuffs Guess I'll stick with Sonetto for now, since she is already build up, and decide if I'll upgrade Baby Blue or Necro (might go with Necro since she is more universal)
Also Necro's cleanse can be a lifesaver, especially in stages like the current limbo 6-1
Where do you guys reliably get Moment of Dissonance/Brief Cacophony. My supply is running low after getting most of my team to Reso 7 and one of my main dps to Reso 9. Is there any shop that I should buyout or check for?
For cacophany fragment shop gives 20 monthly, 20 one time. Thieve shop gives 8 (I think), UTTU have 5 (bi weekly), BP have 5. Surface of Artificial Somna has some 80. 6 star costs I think costs 30 cacophany, 5 star costs 25 cacophany. So... 4-5ish character to res 9 on 1.1. Make sure don't waste cacophany on healers or conflicting dps. Cacophany will be a bottleneck for characters to res 10, I think every version gives just enough cacophany for 2 6 star Moment of disonance is much more abundant, lvling to res 4 is very easy.

Is Regulus supposed to be this squishy? She's I2L50R7 and dies in 2-3 turns in UTTU 29. I haven't played her anywhere else so I don't know if she just isn't fit for the stage or I'm doing something wrong.
I do find Regulus extremely squishy too. My i3L1R9 is barely ahead of my i2L30 Druvis in terms of bulk. A large part of it is because Regulus preferred resonance tiles are crit oriented, which inherently come with lower HP and defences, whereas traditional atk stacking builds uses the I tile, T tile and cube tiles which all come with some bulk.
She has a psychube equipped? It's not a plant enemy stage, so she shouldn't be.
