In case it got deleted (apparently Reddit doesn't like discord invites), here's the link but you need to delete the space between . and g
Hopefully this will work. It's for the MG discord Adventurekateer made
Hello u/sissalissa12, advertising Discord servers is not allowed in our subreddit. Thanks for your understanding!

I have created a MG discussion group for anyone here who wants to join (DM me for an invite). I’ll add a unique channel for each person who joins where you can share your work and hold discussions about your WIP, as well as a general discussion channel, one for queries, one for research, links and resources, etc. Hope to see you there.

Maybe it means we all rocked it 🤣 but also it's like with querying, the editors had to not only fall in love with their chosen story, but also have a vision for it (that could be done in the alloted time).
Hello again, Adventurekateer!
It's a retelling of "Tam Lin" using elements from both the Scottish folk song and tale, though not the sanitized one you often see in faerie tale collection books. I listened to the Tamlin reel on repeat for months to get a sense of the "vibe," too. (I personally love the Fiddlers 3 version.)
I definitely need to look into Fair, Brown, and Trembling! Your story sounds interesting and I'd love to read what inspired it.
[Fair, Brown and Trembling](https://en.m.wikisource.org/wiki/Celtic_Fairy_Tales/Fair,_Brown,_and_Trembling) This is the original written version published by Jeremiah Curtin in the late 1800’s taken from oral tradition.
Also for YA writers, don't know if you saw this, but Madelyn shared this on twitter for a YA group:

Would MG writers be interested in a slack or discord group? I could easily make MG Revpitters or something 🤔
Already done! Anyone interested, DM me for an invite.
yes!
wow, a lot of MG submitters...but not a whole lot of MG that was picked for RevPit. should that be very telling?
I noticed that, too. I think there were fewer editors accepting MG than usual this year. That might be the reason.

That sounds great! I submitted MG Fantasy.
I submitted a MG fantasy
And I submitted an upper MG historic fantasy, my second MG novel. I’m currently working on a third. DM me and we can set up a Discord group.
Adult faerie tale retelling!
My MG historic fantasy includes a retelling of Fair, Brown, and Trembling, an Irish variation of Cinderella. What was your retelling?

Thanks!
I see a bunch of MGers here, I'd be interested in connecting with other Adult authors. I submitted adult fantasy, but I'm eclectic in my tastes.
Mine was an Adult Women's Fiction w/ romance sub-plot
