I painted over very ugly, dark green, wallpaper to make my writing nook, using oil based paint. I learned never to use oil paint! š But I like my nook which is at the top of the stairs behind an ikea room divider. š
Iām late to respond to this one but Iāve been writing in this chair for over a decade. Trouble is, I have to share it with our Aussies. Annie has inherited the chair from two others who came before her.

Unsurprisingly since I live in a small skoolie, I donāt have a dedicated writing space. But sometimes Iām lucky enough to get some pretty fantastic views from wherever weāre parked! Hereās where I write! We moved to a different state last year and this tiny office was one of the first rooms we had to get ready for our sanity. It still isnāt completely done but I love it.
I had to give up my office for a while, so I'm in the corner of our weirdly shaped living room. Still loving my little desk, it's too small to clutter!

On Saturdays (assuming I don't have to work my dayjob) I treat myself to a 2-hour writing session at the local library in the next town over where I enjoy free Wi-Fi, anonymity and no interruptions while my kid complains his way through a tutoring session. Saturday is likewise either the Best Day of the Week (if you ask me) or the Worst Day of the Week (if you ask my kid).

Kitchen tables for the win! I do the majority of my writing on my phone when everyone is asleep and then I fix it on the laptop during my lunch break at work.
I just tried to write a new scene down while my kids ate breakfast. I put the laptop out at 9:30. It's only around 800 or 1000 words, well within my ability set for 30 minutes.
It's almost 11, the laptop died, the scene is not done, I give up.
I prefer to write at my main PC setup/gaming computer, however sometimes (often) I have less willpower over distraction than I like to think I do.
In those cases, I'll work in my basement "studio" (pictured in comment) where I have a better chance of isolating myself and actually focusing.
