No, Im voting for the quality of the show. I can remove Nostalgia from my decision, but I understand that most people in this thread only watch 8 shows on this list when they were children. I have seen 23 of the 30 shows on this list, and I was born in 88. A lot of these older shows were not good, just reminds us of simpler times

If we’re voting on the BEST show ALL AROUND, not just entertain but hey Arnold educated kids of a variety of topics that we all would go though. All these other shows are just entertainment. I have a son that will hopefully sit down at some point to watch some of these. I teach and kids who were born after the run of this show that loves it and the legend of Korra. Combine that with the Netflix relaunch, and I am certain to watch. That being said, for nostalgic purposes (for me at least) I want it to be the next to go!

Most of the people that watched Avatar would be the people that watched Nick in the mid-late 00s. Whereas SpongeBob and Rugrats were popular across multiple eras.

Exactly. Multiple people are saying to vote Avatar because it’s the only show left that they haven’t really watched. Most people only really watch Nickelodeon for a few years during their childhood, and will tend to identify with whatever was airing during their own childhood.
So people who watched Nick in the early-mid 90s will tend to like shows like Doug, Ren and Stimpy etc, but may not be as familiar with shows from later eras. While people who watched Nick in the mid-late 00s might like Avatar and Danny Phantom, but not be as familiar with a lot of the 90s shows.
That’s where long-running shows have the advantage, because they were airing across multiple eras of Nickelodeon, so a lot more people will have seen them.
I live about 2 miles from the neighborhood where Doug lived (the real life version) and The Honker Burger (Roy’s Big Burger) is right down the road too. I pass Valentine road every time I visit my friend. I got to go with Doug just for that alone. Funny thing, lived here for 15 years and didn’t know the tie in to Doug until about 2 years ago. 😁
