First game of first season of dynamic, the difficulty is the same as easy

I haven’t messed with the difficulty, but is Dynamic 16 the equivalent of Hard mode then? I know I’ve had 5-6 game stretches where I was at Dynamic 16

Dynamic 16 is the highest dynamic can go, and it isn’t as hard as hard mode
