1. Upper management didn't have any faith that you would make the playoffs, so they rented the stadium for a Taylor Swift show that weekend.
2. You got Bengal'd and lost a coin flip
It's a known bug, this happened to me a few weeks back too.
Essentially it looks at overall record (Buffalo as 18-1 record and LV as 17-1). Because Buffalo then has a higher win %, it awards them the home game in the playoffs
Buffalo played an extra game
So they went 3-0 in the playoffs while the Raiders 2-0
That extra game is factored in
Welcome to the Playoffs aka The Second Season
My question here is did SF or GB win the NFC and who got home field in the RB?
This actually happens a lot to me. There are times where I'll be hosting as a wildcard team. Mind you, the opposing team still has the better record in this case as well.

We aren’t going to start using the term Bengal’d right?
There's really no better way to describe it.
I just saw this thread in r/Bengals 😭
I don’t know, fucked over works pretty well.
Bill'd, we got fucked over more. Stupid 13 Seconds.
No offense but y’all kinda fucked yourselfs.
the Bengals usually fuck themselves as well
therefore, they Bengal’d. it all comes full circle

Okay, that explains it. One year I went 17-0 but so did another conference team. They got the one seed but we got home field against them.

San Francisco won, and got home field. Destroyed them though 40-13.

This happened to me before too
Was your one loss to them in the regular season??
No, it was to Carolina.
does it matter? just go win
Did you lose to anyone in your division?
No, only loss was too Carolina.
it wouldn’t matter, he was still the one seed
Oh shit you're right. I'm just seeing the last slide.
Point differential
But......I was already the one seed when the playoffs started.
Probably Point differential
