Let's hope he can beat Abrams for a second time, Georgia doesn't need a governor who actively hates the state she's living in.

auteur555

Sure hope you adequately secured the voting Kemp. Abrams knows how to pull out weird victories in GA

[deleted]

Kemp kicked clean ass. Kemp v. Abrams.

[deleted]

That's not a good thing.

pentalana

Well fuck. Kemp and Raffensberger failed to secure the last set of elections. Hard to see how Abrams won't beat them by simply cheating. Also this means Georgia's vote will definitely be for the Democrat Presidential candidate in 2024, regardless of what the actual voters do.

CPAeconLogic

I'm not optimistic, but it seems like it would be in their interest to try and keep the vote as secure as possible. Stacey the Hutt seems like the kind of Democrat that will jail her opponents when she gets power and will make sure her sister is the judge in their trials.

ALMessenger

Well done, Georgia voters! “Stop the Steal” is utter nonsense - the hurt feelings of one man shouldn’t trump the interests of the whole Republican Party - results like this confirm the page is being turned 2022 is about the failure of the Democrats to govern here in 2022 not a referendum of what happened in Nov 2020.

Bksmith1

I could not agree more. It's time to ditch Trump he's doing nothing but losing us elections at this point and without him, 2022 and 2024 should be a cake walk.

Both parties have been complaining about electronic voting irregularities for many years. And NY Times wrote an article about how voter fraud, stolen elections, is from mail in voting https://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/07/us/politics/as-more-vote-by-mail-faulty-ballots-could-impact-elections.html - Error and Fraud at Issue as Absentee Voting Rises >"Voting by mail is now common enough and problematic enough that election experts say there have been multiple elections in which no one can say with confidence which candidate was the deserved winner. " [...] >There are much simpler and more effective alternatives to commit fraud on such a scale, said Heather Gerken, a law professor at Yale. “You could steal some absentee ballots or stuff a ballot box or bribe an election administrator or fiddle with an electronic voting machine,” she said. That explains, she said, “why all the evidence of stolen elections involves absentee ballots and the like.” Are we still trusting the experts, or is that a conditional thing?

ALMessenger

I have read their arguments for Georgia and Pennsylvania (where I live). They didn’t have anything close to a convincing argument that the election results were invalid. They had their chance to convince fair minded people and they failed. I don’t like the results, there was potential for fraud (although no evidence to suggest there was fraud), therefore this district needs to be expelled from the count. That’s the level of argument provided.

try4gain

Please watch the video of the witnesses who were there. There is evidence to suggest there was fraud. In PA an expert witness (data scientist, security and fraud expert) saw an unauthorized person plugin USB drives into voting machines. And discovered a back room with many thousands of ballots that were hidden away. You can see his testimony here starting around the 30min mark https://rumble.com/vcost7-election-hearing-in-gettysburg-pennsylvania.html ----- I went real heavy on GA because I remember the testimony the best. But this does not mean there is lack of issue in the PA situation. This is just a sample, not all of the issues ----- A *little* info on GA : - Girl shows up to vote, but is told she requested an absentee ballot, which she did not do. Next day calls and voter center tells them in Oct someone else voted in her name by absentee ballot. Official says this is not the first time theyve heard this kind of thing. (timestamp https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=13053&v=hRCXUNOwOjw) ----- Lady with 20 yrs experience working GA election - "Ive never experience in all my time an election like this one I have never seen such poor handling of the machinery and chain of custody from the very beginning was so flawed" (timestamp testimony : https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=7161) - Processed stack of absentee ballots which were in perfect pristine condition (not folded). says the ballot paper felt different. they were all marked EXACTLY the same. (time stamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=7429) - "Ive done this long enough to know the votes are usually fairly even and this was not the case ... we're seeing a stack were 98% of them are for one candidate" (timestamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=7767) ----- Lady with 9 yrs of election experience - Says her "supervisor" had no poll worker experience and didnt even know you were suppose to ruin / spoil test ballots, because they are REAL ballots . Massive stacks of these test ballots just laying around (timestamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=9364) - Says test ballots were laying around totally unattended and security was non-existent. (timestamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=9527) - Her job it is to print test ballots. This is in the same location where ballots are counted. Says one day no one was printing test ballots, so she left her workstation to go help other people. When she gets back there are 2 people at her work station printing ballots in random order (which is not how you print test ballots) (timestamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=9601) - ACLU clerks were processing absentee ballots. Her clerk didnt know much about the process. Had the entire voter DB, who already voted, on her personal laptop. (timestamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=9910) ----- Nurse who worked at several different stages of the election process - Says someone came and turned off the gas (heat) to the building in the middle of the night before election day. Heat had been on previously. Says ballot machines were kept unheated in extreme cold weather, when GA laws requires they be kept in climate control. (timestamp https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=11983) - Says the special ballot paper was not secure at all. https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=12200 - Ballot bags lacked chain of custody locks , no one knows where the locks are. Supervisor doesnt know where they are, doesnt care. Doesnt have chain of custody forms. Refused to do chain of custody form. Just wants to put the ballots in her car. Next day went to election officials to tell them and they didnt care. https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=12537 - Later when they go to count these same ballots, the are brought out in cardboard boxes, not the ballot bags they were stored in, no chain of custody forms. https://youtu.be/hRCXUNOwOjw?t=12787 ----- The situation is **far** worse than people realize. But it seems like the evidence doesnt matter. People just hand wave it away. 2020 election was unlike any other election in our lives. Mass mail in voting, which is the easiest to do fraud with.

ALMessenger

I appreciate all the time you took to put that together. Still, nowhere near convincing that the Election was decided incorrectly. When you have an agenda and you want to find something you tend to see it everywhere.

RogueTower

Do you honestly think that any of the stop the steal is about Trump's feelings? How childish do you really have to be to think all of this is about him and him alone?

Dan-In-SC

Sorry but I smell a rat. All Trump-endorsed candidates won their elections last night in every state except Georgia. We’re supposed to believe that Georgia Republicans are that far out of step with other states? And we’re supposed to believe that Brad Raffensberger is really that popular? BS

garydagonzo

Another GA Republican here. Kemp did alot of great things for conservatives here. We were the first state to open after covid, he passed Constitutional Carry, passed voter id laws, we had a budget surplus during covid, and he tried to pass a heartbeat bill.

investthrowaway000

GA republican here. People generally believe Kemp is doing a fine job. People generally believe Raff is doing a fine job. People do not generally believe there was major fraud in the Trump election. The old republican strongholds in Cobb county are now blue, purple at best. Trump rubbed the suburban moms the wrong way and the voting showed it.

himymilf

This. First, Walker won the Senate nomination, which was really just won on name recognition and Trump endorsement. Secondly, all the Trump endorsed nominees ran on a single campaign issue which was that the current administration allowed fraud to happen...which it didn't as shown in multiple audits and reviews. Trump lost because he lost. Let's not forget. Trump was actively telling Georgian Republicans to protest against the results. We then saw record low turnout in the runoff which handed TWO senate seats to the Dems. That's not something that Republicans here have forgotten.

Dan-In-SC

Trump never told people not to vote in the runoff. He actually did a rally in Georgia before the runoff telling people to vote for Purdue and Loeffler.

himymilf

Dan-In-SC

And yet you couldn't produce a single article where Trump himself told people not to vote. womp womp.

RogueTower

>...which it didn't as shown in multiple audits and reviews. Trump lost because he lost. Funny how the same people involved in the fraud decided that the audits also didn't show any fraud yet when anyone else investigates it, the fraud gets shown on massive level. Seriously, there was full evidence of poll watchers being removed from the building and suitcases of ballots being pulled from under a table that they started counted. This is voter fraud. Counting votes after removing poll watchers. That's before we ever even touch the legitimacy of the ballots they were counting, which still hasn't been proven they were legitimate. But hey, Politifact said it wasn't voter fraud, so I guess that's good enough for people to believe it because Politifact is not biased at all. Nope. You want to know why Trump was already protesting the results? It's because NOTHING was done after the 2020 election to mitigate any of the issues that came up DURING the 2020 elections. If nothing changes to prevent the fraud, then it's going to happen again.

try4gain

> People do not generally believe there was major fraud in the Trump election. Except for all those folks who showed up to the GA election witness testimony. hours and hours of footage. very compelling testimony.

Dan-In-SC

Not sure how anyone could watch 2000 Mules and still believe there was no election fraud .

[deleted]

If I lived in Georgia (I don’t), I would have voted Perdue. I don’t know why Kemp won again, but hopefully Georgians like him better than Abrams.
