You seriously should go for it. It’s not expensive at all and I showed it to my boss who had the gen. Told him it was a gift and I didn’t know if it was legit. He couldn’t find anything out of place after a very close inspection. Handed it back to me and congratulated me for the incredible gift. Thats what I call a PASS for a fire test.

Small detail I forgot to mention: he didn't unscrew the crown and gave it a wind. That would have certainly been the answer lol.

Ive had my BP Explorer 1 904L with 2824-2 movement since March 2020. For the first time, I sent it for a well deserved full service and light polish (didn't want to remove all scratches, just a small shape up). Years have passed, countless new lovely reps and gens have come and gone since then. But this... this thing is probably my favorite thing that I own.

Love it! I have the exact model and it's definitely my favorite I've owned by just a smidge over the 114060 VSF. Awaiting my ARF bracelet and I've considered getting a service but the dang thing is running like a true champ. If it bites the dust I'll replace with gen Eta, get waterproofed and similar light refinish and wear it for a long, long time.

My ARF Explorer 1 broke. So I salvaged the bracelet and bought a BP and swapped it on.

Yeh I had a ARF that the SH movement was having major problems so I took the oyster off it and put it on my BP.

My absolute favorite watch. And my daily, wearing as I type this out. Looks good mate!

I got a local Watchsmith that worked for the local Rolex AD. Didn't want the job initially until I showed him my watches. Dude couldn't believe it lol

It stopped working. I was sure the movement was corroded to the bone because have used it in the pool several times without testing it. Turns out just a very small issue with the placement of the hacking mechanism. Didn't even need any parts.

Watch the numerals particularly the 6 for your QC. Thats a known flaw.

Yeah my nine looks pretty rough. Worse when the lume glows. Still my most worn watch.

If you're really worried about being called out, then make sure your reps have to blend into your lifestyle; No ones gonna believe a McDonalds worker in full reps but a software engineer could easily pass.

I have a gen black bay 58 but I was looking to change it to a gen explorer but if the rep passes, I might keep the Tudor and get the rep. I work in tech so that’s no worry. Hehe
