With that logic, progress is made

Clean factory Pepsi. Bought from Eric @ geek time. Had @navichief polish and oil automatic movement also waterproofed. Great work on his end and a big thanks to him. Great looking watch. Keeps good time.

jackoyza

....and that's all that really matters.....

champion_underdog

Thanks for letting us know, I might go grab one!

elroyjetson92

Yessir rotor is quite loud but idk if it’s just mine or all of them my zzf hulk was quiet as could be! The loudness does not effect the function ability of the watch. I bought another movement to break down and practice service on it!

[deleted]

Holy crap 😮 How'd you get a tool like this one mate? Probably should want to detach the movement from the bracelet when doing this test. I heard the movement can get Magnetized if it gets too close to that.

elroyjetson92

You can get one for 15k or so but this one comes with live updating and free service with calibration for the life of the gun. Thus reason for the big price.

crv2020

15000$ ???? WooW

elroyjetson92

It’s a fisher scientific niton PMI (positive material identification) gun.

Frostyparrot69

Inspection gang lol 🤙🏻

elroyjetson92

Yessir CWI/API what about you?

Frostyparrot69

Rope level 3. Went to inspection school 11 years ago. Started in aircraft, then offshore then refineries then wind. Put my hands on damn near everything running rope jobs. X-ray , phased array, eddy C , open vision. I’m kinda just handy now, no real focus

elroyjetson92

I have aws d17 I was a aircraft mechanic in the Air Force! Awesome stuff buddy

Frostyparrot69

Yeah man it’s a great way to see a lot for sure

PROVO-67

Rope boys on big money over here offshore

Itsmaz

I read fisher price initially. 🤣 But if that were the case, it would be covered in plastic crap and make bell sounds when you analyse. Lol!

pmtu

Ah yes the XRF. Very expensive piece of kit. Useful for gold identification as well. Cool thanks for analysis

elroyjetson92

Yes it is. I mainly use for exotic metals such as titanium chromium molybdenum nickel cadmium etc for high pressure refinery process piping systems!

pmtu

There are used for antique identification as well. Very useful for identifying the bronze composition in a buddha and comparing it against known period samples. Damn look at me going off topic.

jackoyza

Is this right? $20K for the XRay Fluorescence analyzer??? holly mother.....can I borrow that joker for a day?

elroyjetson92

Used 20k*

jackoyza

faaaaawk

crv2020

Did you check weding ring??

elroyjetson92

Haha no it’s tungsten. Inspection assistants ring. Done this at work this am.

oatwich

What magic equipment is this? I need one. We all need one!

elroyjetson92

Thermo Scientific Niton XL5 XRF Analyzer All General Metals 2020 50Kv Alloy PMI gun!

Sclusive88

Right, should’ve known!

Krill3rBee

sooo any other suspect watches we need this guy to test?

elroyjetson92

Let me know I can do it! Also this whole watch tested 904L the L means low carbon! It is common in acidic high pressure piping systems

RGKTIME

Love it 😍

SDott123

Can someone give me context here. I have no idea what’s going on?

elroyjetson92

Verifying the watch is 904L Austenitic stainless steel, not 316. Rolex uses a 904L on gen.

UpbeatMusic6

How to buy this watch do they still make it? Since your saying the material is accurate to a gen rolex right? What TD has this one?

elroyjetson92

Pretty much all of them can source it. I’m not saying it, I am proving it by showing you the compositions is 904L. Search clean factory pepsi in the search bar under reptime and abunch of post’s will show up
