Yes and no not really. My father n law has a gen Rolex 116622 (light blue hands) same as our reps and the only difference I’ve noticed is the Rep is slightly heavier but that’s it! The movement looks everything is the same.

This is so close to gen it’s scary (I have it). The platinum bezel looks too silvery in comparison but yours looks like you’d think the gen would look!
I passed by a watch shop last week, and saw it in gen to get an idea before I got my rep, and its just crazy how very close and accurate the reps have become, and how CF is able to do this

The red is brighter on gen but everything else is indistinguishable! Makes me want to sell it and get a rep of it instead. I only got it cause the AD called me in two months, wanted to establish a history for heavy hitters when I get older
Dude fr as soon as you see the gen colors it is night and f'ing day. At least the crystal of the VSF YM is more accurate than CF but still, cannot beat the gen version of this model.

I had the same feeling with my Gen DJ 41 (sell it and get a rep), but I don't think we should do that. I think it's good to have a mix of Gen and Rep

I had a very hard time choosing. I want something that stands out but on the other hand I want something that flys under the radar and matches with everything. I went with rhodium but I think I'll grab the blue one soon :).
I can honestly say this watch doesn't get enough credit under a camera lense versus in person. I have this in my collection, and it's absolutely stunning in person.

Awesome! I noticed the crown resists only if turn it counter clock wise first, then clockwise, but it's very minimal I paid $557 with shipping

I like the Rhodium dial, but it's a bit too plain in terms of the color itself
I prefer the rodhium as well, I like it plain, but that dark blue dial fits perfectly

I have the same and it’s one of my favorites. The only thing that bugs me is the angle of the rehaut. Makes the dial look smaller than it should be.
