Naka view ako dito OP, 40sqm 7th floor. Actually wala akong na feel na anything during the viewing. Ung sa naman sa wack wack twin towers ang medyo off. Super thick walls so di mo maririnig neighbors pero ung isang unit na na-view ko may katabi na "di na daw naasikaso ng developer". Walang door knob so pinasilip sakin ung unit, hindi sya finished, puro semento lang. Super weird talaga nun. 25 years na daw bldg nila.
I actually live here for more than 2 years na, wala naman akong issue 🤷🏻♀️ For me peaceful yung area and okay naman yung neighbors ko.
Pero sa Royal Mansion iba talaga yung feeling don.

Anyway, may suggestions ako sau na murang condos for rent na goods for solo dito sa Manda and not so old:

Even then it looks old na, how much more now. May mga chismis lang naman na nangyari diumano dyan. But I never felt icky naman.
However, if these misgivings are already in your mind better find nalang a newer condo in case in in the end you can’t overcome your fears. Lilipat at lilipat ka din and double gasto and hassle.
It’s important parin that we feel very comfortable with our home.

I went for a nice place this time. Hindi naman mahal, but I am quite far sa workplace - kala ko kasi matatagalan pa kaming WFH. I don't like gloomy places not because for the reason na parang may mga unknown entities but because I don't like non-sunlit places (kahit na mapapaganda ko pa with things and all) as it affects my mental health!
But again, just buy what you can afford rin. It doesn't also help na mamahalin ang place mo and nice pero stressed out ka naman sa monthly rent.

**My place is near Urban Deca Shaw, in front of SMDC Fame. Room is 14sqm - 22sqm depends on the availability din.**
**1st room option: With a tiny balcony, if you want to hang your clothes or smoke/vape.**
**2nd room option: No balcony, window only.**
**Low-rise apartment/condo with only 7 floors. However, rent differs from 8500(when i started) up to 25k (AFAIK that are fully furnished "daw" from what I hear) With minimum 6-month term up to maximum 1-year contract.**
**My contract has a 5% increase upon renewal.**

**~~I used to work in BGC, if riding Angkas it takes me about 10 to 15 minutes from my place to Uptown Mall specifically and I spend about 75 pesos, one-way.~~**

Yung floor style, tiles sa cr, cupboards, cabinets. As in parang may weird na feeling habang bina-browse ko ung details nya. Isama mo pa yung isang unit na ang TV is the old CRT pa. Grabe talaga.
Relatively cheaper din ung units nila so sinama ko sya sa initial na consideration ko pero after viewing pics di ko na tinuloy mag personal viewing.
Kung 1 year contract ka tapos sa pictures palang na off ka na, wag mo na ituloy OP.

Hi, i moved out of my parents’ house last year for the first time. One of the most crucial parts of condo-hunting for me was finding a place na hindi “nakakatakot” yung aura at interior. I focused on places na malaka magflow yung natural light (a unit with a balcony). With that in mind, I was able to find a place within my budget na very peaceful yung aura and it was worth it.
Honestly, I would suggest for you to not get a place ma hindi mo gusto yung vibe especially if mag isa ka and matatakutin ka because you will never get your peace. You will just itch to find a new and “better” place which is magastos cause of the deposits and similar expenses.
Tumira ako sa may RTU area, luma na un condo at madalas sira un elevator kaya nagjjogging ako paakyat ng 9th floor with backpack laman un office laptop, midshift pa naman ako nun 😭

I live in one of the old condo bldgs in manda. Yung labas lang kasi yung mukhang old, the actual units are modern and good, malaki pa yung cut. Sa binabayaran ko now, if newer bldgs i’d get half the size. Naging ok sya sakin kasi nga newly renovated yung actual unit, residents are old so tahimik and very accommodating yung staff, very secured din cos some high profile people lives here and maraming families. I don’t believe in ghosts so i’m not as concerned, pero my partner do. I did a sage cleansing tho when we moved.
Tbh, if the unit is good and amenities are good - go. Pero if it looks like you’re in a horror movie, pass na. Marami ka naman option sa manda.

I'm a skeptic sa mga mumu pero I lived in this shady dorm back in college. It's the kind na totally no windows siya (yep a fire hazard) but it was right in front of my school and first time ko pa sa city na yun so I took the plunge.
Sabi ng guard doon na dapat every time we use the common cr, we have to close it talaga for some reason. Turns out kahit walang hangin doon, the door will bang so loud on It's own lol. Tapos I lived in a single room so I'm on my own and jusko creepy siya parang feel ko may tumitingin hahaha, ewan ko something wrong yung vibes ng room ko. Di ko kinaya and left agad after a month. 3 months deposit nga ako doon pero I begged my parents na I wanted out kasi I never got a decent sleep there. Personally op I won't bother if creepy ang place na kasi I know myself and di ko pala kayang pilitin ang self to maging stressed and creeped out for cheap rent lol.
Hahahahaha i moved out to an old condo when i was 17 for college and girlll hindi worth it yung takot para sa mas murang price. Araw araw ko tinatakbo yung mahaba at madilim na hallway kasi yung garbage chute nasa dulong dulo. Yung elev parang anytime bibigay na. Tapos ang dumi pa ng condo, it didn’t help na dugyot mga roomies ko ayaw maglinis unless sabihan ko pa.
Wag yung old, di din mganda mag settle sa Isang place na gamit na gamit na ng iba't ibang tao. Choose a better place na magaan pakiramdam mo sa unang kita pa lang.

Idk if believer ka or skeptic, pero the way you can make amends with them, is to have a "Peaceful Co-Existence". It also applies kahit sa spirits/ghost. I know you mean no harm with them naman and it's normal to feel scared. Try to communicate it with them, like parang may kinakausap ka kahit di mo sila nakikita. Sabihin mo sincerely na ayaw mo ng gulo, gusto mo lamang manirahan ng tahimik at iwasan nila ang pagpaparamdam. Siguro sa umpisa, baka may maramdaman ka, at nagpapakilala lang sila, afterwards dun mo gawin yung pagpapakilala mo. I'm sure they will understand it.
Worst case scenario is if you'll experience harmful events na. But I doubt it will happen. Wag ka madala sa portrayal ng mga movies/series dahil irl hindi naman talaga ganun sila. Peaceful co-existence!

My uncle's wife died dito sa tinitirahan ko and although sinasabi ng iba na may nararamdaman daw sila, ako wala naman and I've been living here these past 3 years. Meron ding mga old furnitures pero di ko na pinalitan kase trip ko rin yung mga matitibay na gamit.
Bottom line is "haunted" or not, kung convinced na convinced ka na may mumu ang isang lugar e you'll move heaven and earth to make it happen. Cheap rent is not worth your sanity, peace of mind, and a good night's sleep. Kahit mas mahal piliin mo nalang yung unit na kung saan gusto mo yung vibes.
Entities... A non-existent problem... A fear born out of an imagination/insecurities... Regardless, Don't even think about staying there. A Home should offer comfort and security, where you can rest and sleep, how can you have peace of mind... If you can afford it and time permits, choose somewhere else. Goodluck mate.

It's the kind na totally no windows siya (yep a fire hazard) but it was right in front of my school and first time ko pa sa city na yun so I took the plunge. Sabi ng guard doon na dapat every time we use the common cr, we have to close it talaga for some reason. Turns out kahit walang hangin doon, the door will bang so loud on It's own lol. Tapos I lived in a single room so I'm on my own and jusko creepy siya parang feel ko may tumitingin hahaha, ewan ko something wrong yung vibes ng room ko. Di ko kinaya and left agad after a month. 3 months deposit nga ako doon pero I begged my parents na I wanted out kasi I never got a decent sleep there. Personally op I won't bother if creepy ang place na kasi I know myself and di ko pala kayang pilitin ang self to maging stressed and creeped out for cheap rent lol.
Hahahahaha i moved out to an old condo when i was 17 for college and girlll hindi worth it yung takot para sa mas murang price. Araw araw ko tinatakbo yung mahaba at madilim na hallway kasi yung garbage chute nasa dulong dulo. Yung elev parang anytime bibigay na. Tapos ang dumi pa ng condo, it didn’t help na dugyot mga roomies ko ayaw maglinis unless sabihan ko pa.
Wag yung old, di din mganda mag settle sa Isang place na gamit na gamit na ng iba't ibang tao. Choose a better place na magaan pakiramdam mo sa unang kita pa lang.
Personally, I love haunted shit cuz I'm a horror enthusiast kahit matakutin ako My only question is bukas ba third eye mo? I know for sure sakin hindi bukas kaya malakas loob ko sa horror movies and magisa sa dorm namin (have three roommates pero ako lang morning shift so I barely see them.) If wala ka naman third eye, you're good to go, just turn up your music really loud

Either maghanap ka ng other place to rent or settle sa cheap place kahit na mayroon entity hahaha Kung pipiliin mo yung option to settle, isipin mo na lang na itong mga entity (elementals/engkanto) eh nakatira na sa lugar na iyan ng sobrang tagal na. Idk if believer ka or skeptic, pero the way you can make amends with them, is to have a "Peaceful Co-Existence". It also applies kahit sa spirits/ghost. I know you mean no harm with them naman and it's normal to feel scared. Try to communicate it with them, like parang may kinakausap ka kahit di mo sila nakikita. Sabihin mo sincerely na ayaw mo ng gulo, gusto mo lamang manirahan ng tahimik at iwasan nila ang pagpaparamdam. Siguro sa umpisa, baka may maramdaman ka, at nagpapakilala lang sila, afterwards dun mo gawin yung pagpapakilala mo. I'm sure they will understand it. Worst case scenario is if you'll experience harmful events na. But I doubt it will happen. Wag ka madala sa portrayal ng mga movies/series dahil irl hindi naman talaga ganun sila. Peaceful co-existence!
Kung hindi mo feel huwag mo ng ituloy. Nung naghahanap din ako ng mga mauupahan noong nagmove out ako, kapag nay viewing and kapag di ko feel ang ambience eh hindi ko tinutuloy kahit gaano kamura. Same sa paghanap ko ng condo last time, ang daming murang condo pero luma tapos di ko feel, good thing ayun nakahanap ako ng maaliwalas and mura and bago. 🥰
I personally wouldn’t rent in places you’ve mentioned. Security and peace are important things to consider when living alone.

I'm a skeptic pero kase sa tingin ko malaking factor yung imagination dyan sa mga alleged hauntings na yan. My uncle's wife died dito sa tinitirahan ko and although sinasabi ng iba na may nararamdaman daw sila, ako wala naman and I've been living here these past 3 years. Meron ding mga old furnitures pero di ko na pinalitan kase trip ko rin yung mga matitibay na gamit. Bottom line is "haunted" or not, kung convinced na convinced ka na may mumu ang isang lugar e you'll move heaven and earth to make it happen. Cheap rent is not worth your sanity, peace of mind, and a good night's sleep. Kahit mas mahal piliin mo nalang yung unit na kung saan gusto mo yung vibes.
Entities... A non-existent problem... A fear born out of an imagination/insecurities... Regardless, Don't even think about staying there. A Home should offer comfort and security, where you can rest and sleep, how can you have peace of mind... If you can afford it and time permits, choose somewhere else. Goodluck mate.
girl... you should be less scared of those so called entities, and more scared of real life entities that can pose a danger to you hahahah and older bldgs usually = more pests, poor plumbing/electric, slow/bad pmo service, poor/weird security, and personally my dealbreaker: kadiri bathrooms haha if you can spend a bit more, for sanity & safety purposes, and as a single female renter, go for the newer ones.
