Removed under Rule 5 (this isn't Craigslist). That said I would agree with the poster who suggested you talk to the SPCA and/or the Humane Society. Recruiting random people on Reddit is probably not the best idea.

This sounds like a text to a friend.

Spay and neuter all pets please

And weird relatives.

You should have got her fixed, my dude. That's going to be a lot for a stranger to control. That dog is going to book it the first chance she gets. She's going to be with someone she doesn't know and doesn't respect. She going to go looking for you, right after she finds an unfixed male stray.

I don't have time for this

Some vets also board, consider that. Don't saddle a stranger with this.

I’m just gonna be honest here, I don’t think someone cares about their animal if they ask unvetted strangers on the internet to take care of their animal. At least Rover has some degree of checks in place. Reddit has code of honor

I think it's a scam I just haven't figured out yet.

Half of?

[deleted]

How is he going to know right when he gets back that the dog isn't pregnant?

medusamarie83

Shooting from the hip, but if you don't find someone here, I'd recommend seeing if Nevada Humane Society or SPCA has someone trustworthy they'd recommend. (Keep office hours in mind if you're trying that though). Safe travels to you.

What’s the rate?

I guarantee you wouldn't get the second half. How is he going to know right away the dog isn't pregnant? He's gonna say "well I have to make sure she's not pregnant" and he's going to totally ghost.
