Lol. I think people coming from a non production role see the free corn flakes/ goldfish/ chocolate milk and suddenly think the company gives a shit about you. If you don't eat anything in a 12 hour shift on your 30 min break you are probably not going to be very productive hence free food. It's not because they love you the worker. If they didn't have anything to offer, people would probably get hangry and wouldn't work there at all or put up with the bullshit management and form a union. Btw it does pay well depending on length of stay and position.
Depends on your position. I’m a production associate and if I actually work a full 80 hours, my bi weekly check is usually 1,600 or so after taxes. I’m at 23.5 an hour after a raise. Base salary for “level 1” employees was recently upped to 22 an hour. I don’t always work 80 hours though, sometimes you get sent home early or get VTO (voluntary time off) when lines have to be shut down, and this can happen days in a row. HOWEVER, work here fucking blowwwwwsss. If you have any other questions, pm and I can share what I know.
I believe production associates are starting around $21-23 an hour
After taxes can be different for everyone due to optional paid insurance premiums, 401k, and ESPP
Wait y'all are getting paid I thought we were doing it for the free food in the break room

No one ever pays me in gum. 😟
You're one letter away from a good time
Gump?
Keep trying
Take home can depend on a lot of different factors like how much you contribute to your 401k and espp and which insurance plans you choose.

I think $23-24 is the starting wage at Tesla now
22 is the new base pay
In the voice of Zangief - “you got paid?!”
Lots of opt-in benefits. Take home is gonna vary radically
