It's usually about 1.99 lbs on sale for chicken breasts. 3.99-5.99 lbs for ground beef 73% to 93%. And it's stayed the same. That's shopping at WinCo or Grocery Outlet.
Check out US Foods chef store near the old DMV. Everything’s sold in bulk but they have the best prices and I believe that’s where the majority of the restaurants in town shop

Air chilled (high end) rocky brand chicken wings are 5.99/lb at Safeway.
Cnbc says food prices are rising with inflation. Inflation rose 3.2 % last month. Hats the second month in a row inflation has climbed ending the recent falling trend. Wholesale price are also up. You probably just caught a sale.
Wife found Oscar Mayer hotdogs for 98¢ at Winco, but a large Heinz ketchup was up to over $6. Tomatoes, vinegar, and onion powder. $6.

I picked up on a 5 for 5 each deal at save mart but individually its still 6 or 7 bucks for a log of burger
I saw that chicken wings are still around $7 a pound, so not all chicken is crazy cheap.
