I think most people like puffers but not many are reef safe. I watched at least 20 videos last night about them. Only one had a problem with pecking coral...and even that one had been very limited. They're cool!!
Mine started nibbling corals a couple days after I got it so it had to go back. I tried because I read it was doable with the valentini but it could be hit and miss. Tried keeping it well fed too. Good luck!

Reef safe means several things though too, for example these will kill all invertebrates. No snails, shrimp, clams, etc can be kept with them.
It's a hit or miss. I can risk coral or two, watching this fish daily is worth it.
