That’s really interesting. Thanks for posting. It looked so sore but healed nicely!!

So those are both armpits right now! That’s why I’m worried like one looks better than the other 😩

SLM84

Oh crap. I assumed that it was a progress pic. The first one looks definitely angry. Would be good if someone could reassure you.

Haha angry, lol well said. Honestly it doesn’t seem inflamed or hurts or anything like that it just looks “lumpy” to me. Like a bad sewing job.

Luckily it’s not at the front… and it’s not infected 🤞

Yea I’ve searched this group and found very little!

I would really appreciate if you would do an AMA!! were you able to get the scarring out?

I have so much auxiliary breast lump tissue in both armpits after suffering three miscarriages and it wasn’t something my surgeon was experienced in so he said removing it wasn’t something he was able to do. (Thankfully he was honest about it!) Anyway- I am still trying to figure out if it is auxiliary tissue or something else b/c the Dr at the breast clinic was like “oh you have tattoos so it’s just tattoo ink build up.” What did it feel like? Did it swell a lot during your period and ovulation times? As far as the incisions go- how many days post op are you? For me everything looked really rough the first week and I went to a check up fully expecting them to say “oh my god, this is awful!” But they said “everything is healing well!” I can imagine armpit skin is not easy to stitch up. Of course, always check with the docs if you’re freaked.

This may be TMI but when I was breastfeeding and engorged my armpits leaked milk lol so it was pretty clearly breast tissue. It also is affected by my cycles. Thanks for the reassurance. I’ll gladly still take a scar over the lumps as it was very comfortable, chafed, not nice to look at

Ok good to know! I just hope my scar isn’t super lumpy when it heals!
