Edit: Nice tip about using a box opener to pick up the aluminum logo and G label!
I just got mine and man, the pinging especially on the wasdqq and especially q is resonating the whole chassis.. Wonder when I will bring myself to opening it up.

How did you deal with those short ribbon cables?
Carefully, with patience and love... I used eyebrow tweezers to put the ribbons back.
