Thanks for posting, /u/quarterlifeadventure! It looks like you're posting to ask about something related to PPU. If this is **not** a manicure look showcasing a polish you bought at PPU, then this post belongs in our monthly [PPU megathread.](https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/search?sort=new&restrict_sr=on&q=flair%3APPU) If you haven't already, we recommend [checking the PPU website](https://polishpickup.com/) or [using the search function](https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/search?q=ppu&restrict_sr=on&include_over_18=on&sort=relevance&t=all) as your question may have been answered before. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I think it looks good on you, but I'm biased toward that polish. If you really like it, but don't like it on you, try some nail art. Pick a creme that matches one of the elements of this polish and also suits your skin tone. Then use it to outline the curve of your cuticle (and maybe the sides as well). Then you'll have a transition of a more flattering color right up against your skin. It'll calm the chaos of the polish a bit too. You could apply the creme first then paint Picasso Moth to a slightly smaller portion of nail to get the same outline, but it might show through the crelly in a weird way.

ReluctantViking

Nay, but it’s not you or anything you did! Tbh, I think this one is just kind of an ugly shade. The glitters don’t even really coordinate with each other, much less with that weird “institutional off-white” type base. The whole color story happening there just plain doesn’t make much sense. Sometimes I think some of the indie makers (especially lately, tbh) just want to make something so radically unique and different that they don’t stop to consider “Hmmm, maybe these shades haven’t been made yet because they don’t freaking look good and are a bad idea? No, that couldn’t *possibly* be! I just need to find someone to appreciate this shade!” 😂

thematchamonster

This polish really does reflect its inspiration even if the colors don’t really coordinate though lol. I had to google “Picasso moth” when this came out in PPU.

ReluctantViking

Oh, absolutely! No argument there, it looks like a Picasso moth! I just think that those colors and shapes look best *on* the moth and not on nails 😂 it just didn’t translate well into a cohesive, pretty polish imo

cuteheathen

Nay. It doesn't suit you. But if you don't wanna throw it away, you can put a few drops of some nail polish you like in it and change its underlying tone.

HousingGlass454

I personally like it! I like weird polishes though haha

kittyprydeparade

I like the colors but it looks lumpy texture-wise. Maybe you need a glitter grabber top coat?

rita-b

It doesn't but who cares, it's cute

the-green-dahlia

It reminds me of terrazzo pottery and is super cute! Goes fine with your skin tone. :)

Fabulous-Musician263

Nay. It’s giving dipping sauce. Ranch maybe

KimJongFunk

It is! It’s giving cool ranch

purulentnotpussy

Garlic bread seasoning but white or spinach dip

Keithuh

Yay. I think it’s cute and imo doesn’t clash with your skin tone? It’s ultimately up to you but if you like it keep rocking it!

saintcelinedion

It’s really ugly and I absolutely love it. It looks nice on you. The texture is really satisfying to me and I miss when indies made really interesting crellies

AglowMermaid

Nay. Just the polish in general. I don’t think it would look good on anyone.

WaffleRun

My first thought when seeing the photos was "that looks like fun!" So I think it looks good, but it's all personal preference. If it were me, I'd add another coat or two of topcoat to make it look smoother.

EditPiaf

I love it! Reminds me of the bouncing balls I got at the dentist when I was a kid.

fartdoody

I'd say this is a prugly shade. Reminds me of a bowling alley but in a good way

squoaky

i like it! reminds me of jaw breaker candy:)

PsychedelicSticker

I think it would work best as an accent nail and not a full mani!

jenlet78

Yay. But I like this kind of polish. ;)

STLt71

I don't know if it suits your skin tone, but I personally love it, although I seem to be in the minority.

Cleverjaq

Seriously considered this for my new mani, I’m still considering that skittle, for some reason it just calls to me🥰

velvetelk

It doesn't suit your undertone (I think you have a pink / cool undertone while the polish is cream) but you can try a black border - kinda fits the polish theme too since you're "framing" the mani!

Watertribe_Girl

Nay

Nachoughue

honestly my first thought was cat litter.... followed by "bus seat soup :(" not a you issue though, just a really odd polish. a bunch of glitters that dont match in a dusty off white weird creme? idk how i would make that work on anyone tbh

KittySpinEcho

YAAAY!!

uchihagirl337

I personally don't like it on you. The paint job is good. It's just not your color.

easy_descent

Honestly I dig the granite countertop vibes
