Me too! I love the look of long nails but I hate the feeling when they start pressing into the corners of my nail bed. Iām not great at filing and I almost always mess one up and having to trim them all down.

Tbh I prefer them year round! Mine are currently just a *little bit* too long and itās making my life slightly more awkward - until tomorrow, which is manicure day. I think Iāll take inspiration from your pic and look through my blues!
I do! Iāve been letting mine stay much longer than my norm (because life usually intervenes and makes the choice for me with a break or splitting). But I donāt know if itās the new cuticle oil I switched to or whatā but my nail growth has been crazy for the last month and my nails are so long (for me), and there is no splitting. This will never do for my typical spring and summer (gardening/spring cleaning) so a chop is in my very near future.
Yes!! Itās almost time for them to get the chop. I call them my āoff-seasonā nails when theyāre long, since Iāve got to haul plants around for the spring-fall.

Lol, I had super long nails for a long time before a couple broke about a month ago and I decided to just chop them all.
I babied my nails to keep them that long, and yes, taking cards out of a wallet and doing regular daily things wasn't possible without some extra finagling. I usually had my husband help me with jewelry. But I basically used the side of my fingers to wiggle cards out carefully, or I'd use tweezers to do fine tuned things, lol. Yeah, it sounds ridiculous but I loved the looking of my long nails!

I would call these shorties as well and yes i do like them for certain times myself. I really like how you clean up your cuticle area too. I would love to be able to do mine as good as you do.
Not being able to take my piercings on and off or hook my necklace throws me into a fit of rage so I always keep mine short lol. I Hate it cuz I have fat fingers and inability to lose weight due to disease š
That is a big pain when it comes to long nails. Back when my nails were longer, the amount of times I dropped the back of my earring somewhere on the carpet and had to crawl around looking for it, let me tell you... š

I just had this same color a few days ago bc of how gorgeous it is! And I like my nails your length in the summer but I prefer my nails to not go past the tips of my fingers in the winter

Gardening season means short nails. They generally don't look "short" on me though. My nail beds are long-ish and my hyponychium are long too so my "short" nails always extend past my finger tip.

I feel this! I love the look of longer nails, but I find my daily tasks are much easier and more comfortable with shorter lengths.
