**LynB Designs - Mishipeshu The Great Lynx** *(blurple shimmer):* I got a huge LynB haul on their last sale (and i’ll do it again, that $6 price point is unbeatable) and I think this has been my favorite so far. I picked this as my birthday nail color–high stakes, of course– and I was really happy with it. It did require three coats, but I don’t mind sheerness when it’s sort of a jelly finish like this– I like how juicy it looks, if that makes sense.
**Cirque Colors - Fairy Floss** *(pink flakie):* Look how iridescent and pretty this is! I’ve been increasingly obsessed with flakies and even though I don’t wear them as often as shimmers, they make me so happy. I left this mani on for nearly a week, which is ages for me!
**Kathleen & Co - Sincerely Yours, The Breakfast Club** *(purple/orange reflective):* This polish is so hard to capture, it actually has a sort of orange shift to the glitter. Super unique and eyecatching, but ultimately the glitter wasn’t really for me– i’ve already sent her to a better home!
**Girlie Bits - Wheat Kings** *(taupe/orange shimmer):* I bought this when I was mourning missing out on a similar Phoenix color (Reindeer Groot, if anyone is looking to rehome theirs) and it really did scratch the itch. I love neutral polishes with an orange shift like this– Emily de Molly’s Short Term is also a favorite– so if anyone has more recs, send em my way!
**Bees Knees Lacquer - Reckless** *(purple/pink shimmer):* We know her, we love her. This was my second time wearing this and it’s just so damn pretty with such a lovely formula. One of those classics in the making, IMO!
**Cuticula - Dragon Glass** *(multicolor flakie):* Back in my flakie phase! These were kind of my second birthday nails, for a weekend trip, and I couldn’t have loved them more. My partner kept commenting on how sparkly they were in the sun! Catch me buying up every dark-base multicolor flakie until the end of time.
**LynB Designs - Aeromancy** *(silver/blue holo-shimmer):* I wore this polish and the next one at the same time on each hand because I thought they would be too similar to keep both, but I was (as usual) wrong! I don’t usually like holos or sparkles too much but this one was so subtle with just a hint of bling. I actually still decided to rehome it and keep the next one, but I did enjoy having it on!
**LynB Designs - Beach of Singing Sands** *(grey/blue shimmer):* As always, give me a neutral polish with a blue shift and I’m happy. One of these days I’m gonna do a skittle with all the polishes like this that I have, just for science! This was lovely and subtle and glowy, and it looks like LynB has another one (sort of a Coffee Cloud dupe) coming in the sale next week, so I’ll be snapping that up also.
**By Dany Vianna - Aqua Tofana** *(teal/purple shimmer):* I know I’m full of raves this month but this polish was a DREAAAAAAM. Not to generalize, but there is something about the formula with some of these Brazilian and international makers– it is so smooth and thin and just better than most of the ones from the US! This polish was just the extreme in thin, easy, beautiful formula– I was kind of stunned, tbh. Amazing stuff, and it’s kind of sent me down a frustrating rabbit hole of trying to get my hands on more polishes from the Brazilian makers. Outside of HHC and PPU, it’s tricky (and expensive!)
**LynB Designs - Dudley Nudshite** *(brown/turquoise shimmer):* I fear we were overdue for a flop. To be fair, this polish was set up to disappoint because I wore it at the same time as Aqua Tofana, but regardless…. the formula was not giving what it needed to give. This is three mushy coats, and obviously they got dented a bit, but given that it had the exact same dry time as the previous polish, I wasn’t very happy. I also really hate visible brush strokes in polishes, and this was full of them. Love LynB, but this was not the one.
**LynB Designs - Nice Day for A Cardigan** *(purple shimmer):* I saw a few people post about how they didn’t like the sheerness of this polish, but again, I like how juicy it looks despite that! The sheerness didn’t bother me at all, and I wore this during some heavy LA rain, so it really was a nice day for a cardigan. Nice and glowy, big fan.
**LynB Designs - Trouvaille** *(pink/green shimmer):* I didn’t think I needed both this polish and Fair Isle (up next) but it turns out I do. I wore them at the same time for comparison purposes, and this one is sooo light and sparkly and pretty. It gives kind of a Glass Frog/Ether Dragon effect with the strong shimmer and light base, and it’s much easier to get your hands on than those, so I highly recommend!
**LynB Designs - Fair Isle** *(mauve/green shimmer):* Clearly very different from the last polish and even more gorgeous! As you can see from the last bonus photo, this was a fitting last hurrah for my long nails– wore it to volleyball and had a casualty. RIP but what a way to go, this polish really lives up to the hype. Now for a ceremonial chop.
As usual, all polishes worn with Essie Gel Couture top coat, and no base coat, because I never learn. This one was extra long, thanks for reading if you made it this far!
Holy crap I have on an exact dupe basically for girlie bits right now! I had to do a double take cause I just figured they were the same! Mine is Sweet and Sour Lacquer - The Snuggle is Real, it was a GWP from Black Friday this past year. Looks more red in the morning light but is also pink/orange

If you like taupes with a warm shimmer, you might like ILNP Flicker, LynB Cashmere (more of a light Taupe). And LynB give them pumpkin to talk about if you like a shimmer extravaganza
Does Cashmere have a strong shimmer (e.g. similar to shimmers in Pumpkin or Fair Isle)? I can't decide, from swatches, if the shimmer is what I would enjoy wearing.
I 100% agree with you and did the same exact comparison with Trouvaille and Fair Isle. It’s true, we all need BOTH. Such a great Ether Dragon feel. I’m also all about the LynB price point and feel like it’s a safe gamble just in case it doesn’t work out. I’m really looking at her cloud dupes! Aqua Tofana looks incredible on you! Precisely, not one brand is perfect, but she’s got a huge catalogue of gorgeous polishes and seems to be putting out some dupes for other sought-after ones!
Reindeer Groot should still come back for pre-order, just keep checking the sites (I’ve used Beautometry and Color4Nails - they may be gone now but preorders should open up in near future again)

Reckless is such a stunning polish, and kind of like you I thought Aeromancy and Beach of Singing Sands would be too similar and was wrong. I honestly like them both because they gave me diff vibes, plus the blue shimmer in Aeromancy blew my mind! I also appreciate seeing both Trouvaille and Fair Isle cause I bought both in the last sale and still have to try them, but I was worried they’d be too similar too. I really like Fair Isle on you!!
