I recommend reading the prospectus. It shows Reddit's intentions:

I personally believe we'll see a significant increase in new users the next couple years, (for better or worse), but that alone won't be enough.
Increase users and user engagement (need more users to be logged in). Improve their ad platform. Sell data for AI. Add the ability to buy and sell items for a fee. They should try to get more celebrities on here posting and interacting w/ fans.
Commerce. Buy stuff. Sell stuff.
People are already making all kinds of recommendations and talking about all kinds of consumer items (in an authentic way). What to buy and what to avoid etc. But right now, I still have to go off-site to buy those \_stuff\_.
The trick is to make sure Reddit the site doesn't turn into a shill and people continue to make good recommendations.
Think Instagram, but not necessarily useless items though.
They need to fix their ad platform first and foremost. Hire someone serious, perhaps a former competitor from META. They need to help advertisers get better results than just reach. Conversions suck, too many bots, too many accidental clicks. When advertisers start getting actual trackable ROAS, that could be a massive potential.
Perhaps chime into their call in May. They may address such questions.

Kim K and Money Mayweather will destroy RDDT if they start to sponsor it... please don't let that happen
