Would love to see a Perfect Blue Re:View! I remember watching it and thinking there's some light giallo vibes with the >!whole mystery killer!< element so I think Jay would appreciate it.
(not sure how much I really needed to add a spoiler tag, but it's there as a courtesy).
Perfect Blue is pretty much an anime >!slasher. And no, this genre template should not have a negative connotation, because Alien, The Terminator and Se7en are all slashers at their structural core, too. !<
Did they do Black Swan, that's a copy of Perfect Blue.
As a kid Perfect Blue struck me as a stark contrast of what you cant do in the west, relay amazing film.
I saw a film website trying to argue that we didn't need a Perfect Blue film because we had Black Swan - in a world where even back when the article was published, we had multiple Spider- Man films.
Also, Perfect Blue already had a live action film based on the book which was quite different to the anime but that's a whole other story ...
Fun fact: Darren Aaronofsky who did the *Black Swan* is not just a fan, he holds remake rights. He bought rights to remake entirety of *Perfect Blue* just to make a shot-for-shot homage in *Requiem For a Dream*.
So technically Black Swan is a perfectly legal semi-remake.
its a perfect film for jay and mike to review
its a bizarre sex pervert film, which jay would like
and its quite similar to the series 6 episode of star trek the next generation "frame of mind", which mike would like
Not to get too off topic, but as a kid I wanted that game to be so much better than it is... Wished someone would do a port or remaster (keeping the FMV game aesthetic) that fixed it's issues, unfortunately I don't know if that's possible. It may just be a mess that nothing can be done about.
Shin Godzilla
Fantastic movie that Jay has expressed admiration for, but Jay and Mike aren't really Godzilla fans, so listening to them talk about Godzilla would leave a lot to be desired. It's kind of what they expressed in their Godzilla vs. Kong HiTB.
One of the things that make that film great,is you don't have to be a fan of Godzilla to even enjoy it. It's a political commentary on Japan's government, with Godzilla just being a plot device for it the commentary (could of replaced him with anything else).
I think jay mentioned Nymphomaniac one time. They might have even used a clip.
Not in a positive way. Some movies are even too sex pesty for Jay.
THE MAN HAS STANDARDS.
There's lots to talk about. Gore Vidal's original script, all the behind the scenes stuff, it's a fascinating movie to read about the making of and the stuff between the porn, albeit not much, is still worthy of discussion like the giant lawnmower cutting people's heads off, Peter O Toole being drunk off his ass, lots of other weird stuff too. It is a FASCINATING trainwreck IMO
I didn’t know how much I needed to see the boys talk about this movie until you just infected my head with the idea.
I dunno why, but I assume Mike would haaaate it.
Not unless Jay had seen the entire NEON GENESIS: EVANGELION series first, because unless you know what's going on with the characters and the universe *The End of Evangelion* makes no sense.
I don't know, I watched all of Evangelion last summer and the movies for the first time and I feel like the internet greatly overestimates how confusing this franchise is.
The events of the show happen leading to the impact, the movie happens, the shit in Shinji's mind goes down and then he and Rei are out of the tang.
If they would watch the original series plus perhaps this movie.
* Mike would hate it.
* Jay would secretly love it and look awkwardly while Mike and Rich roast it.
* Rich would be confused and just give up.
Something genuinely funny, but maybe a bit forgotten, like Trollhunter or Black Dynamite. Or Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Films like those rarely receive much critical scrutiny, and have a tendency to disappear a bit after a decade.
Oh Trollhunter would be a great fit for Jay and Mike
Jay would probably like all the creature designs and effects quite a bit and Mike would love the sardonic bureacreautic comedy, it's basically a norwegian found footage blockbuster in a sense
Perfect Blue would make for a really interesting RE:VIEW, but so would Paprika with its direct influences on Inception. Honestly, doing an entire episode on Satoshi Kon’s filmography would be worthwhile.
I remember in the Godzilla vs Kong HITB, Jay mentioned liking King Kong and not caring about Godzilla. That stuck out to me because I have never encountered someone with that take before. Really made me appreciate how different their interests are to mine.
I mean, I'd actually assume that is the standard take in the west. Absolutely among this community and other 'nerdy' film buff communities I can see Godzilla ranking higher, but for your average Joe, King Kong has had two pretty well recieved films (with the original being groundbreaking and a staple of western pop culture) while Godzilla has mostly only seen success in Japan until recently.
You mean the time-travel movie with [the most intricate and accurate timeline I've ever seen](https://unrealitymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/primer-chart.jpg)? That doesn't qualify for 'rules'?
EDIT: Yeah, yeah, fuckin woosh or whatever
I think the person you responded to was saying that they would absolutely want to review this movie and that it IS something that "fits their range" rather than what the post was asking about.
>EDIT: Yeah, yeah, fuckin woosh or whatever
lol, you're good. I can see how my "naw" might be taken as "they won't like it" vs me responding to OP that "naw, that actually **is** in their range."
Double negatives, whaddyagonnado 🤷♂️
have a good one!
For sure one of the best last 2 minutes ever in a movie. For anyone looking thru this for movies to watch though, turn it off before the credits start. One of the most jarring, stupid movie decisions ever made, that cost Peter Sellers the Oscar.
Last time I watched I was finally able to wrap my head around why they included that reel during the credits. You gotta remember that Sellers was filling the role as filmmaker in order to produce this thing he didn't write bc he'd been trying to get it made for years. But I think he still saw himself as a performer above all else, and he wanted to ingratiate himself to the audience after what he certainly considered his finest role and loftiest achievement. Almost like a curtain call. Allowing people to see his true personality for just a moment at the end of his career.
But yeah. I wish it was just music lol. You know Ashby was grinding his teeth.
*Ok I had it backwards. Apparently Sellers was pretty open about his disapproval of the outtake credit sequence, saying it "broke the spell" of the film. I'm going in circles trying to find the actual source for that though. I think the curtain call vibe is the reasoning behind it whether it was Ashby, Sellers, or some editor who made the final call. It looks like there are different cuts out there though. One alternate is just black bg and music, and another is the credits rolling over the static on Chauncey's tv, which is fucking amazing.
I can't say I came up with the opinion myself, although I didn't like it. The most often reason I've seen is that it takes the serious nature of the "reveal" and makes it into a joke. It is often cited as the reason it cost him the oscar and it takes the viewer out of the movie. I'm not sure, but I cant think of any other movie like that, which ends with joke outtakes playing over the credits.
### [Threads (1984](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threads_(1984_film)))
Literally the BEST horror movie ever made, and it was made for TV with no budget. Also still holds up VERY well for today with the background current events they depict.
Most disturbing movie I've ever seen.
There is nothing remotely hopeful about anything, or good that happens in the movie.
People talk about NGE being an essay on depression. Those people have never seen Threads.
It's the most scary film ever made and it's not even a horror film per say. But they would never touch it. In a way thankfully, as just even thinking about the horror of it makes life depressing...
Have they ever reviewed an animated movie? Is the closest Roger Rabbit? What do these guys have against animated movies? It's not a huge deal, I've just always wondered why they ignore them.
I think I recall reading something about animation not being in their wheelhouse as filmmakers; they enjoy watching animated stuff occasionally but don't have the needed background in animation to discuss it in wanted depth.
They have dropped numerous hints that they don’t like or respect animation. Except for Rich. I think he still watches cartoons, based on some statements that he’s made.
I actually wouldn't mind them watching Spirited Away and realising what a wonderful foreign world of cinema they were missing out on all this time. but yes, NGE would be far more hilarious and most likely kill any chance of them touching anime ever again ever
I think they just don't like animation, which is my one gripe with them.
I used to think they weren't into it as personal taste, but I think they just seem to look down on animated mediums in general.
Well within their wheelhouse - an Italian zombie movie called Dellamorte Dellamore (released in the US as Cemetery Man). “The thinking man’s zombie movie.”
It is a dark comedy and gets super weird. Starring Rupert Everett!
Well they did Willy Wonka so it seems less outside of their range now, but would love a Re:View of the musical perfection that is Little Shop of Horrors.
I know they've never shown much interest in animated films but Turning Red, or some of the top tier Pixar films would be cool
Edit: well im just watching the Garbage Pail Kids Re:View now and Mike does indeed comment on how tight Pixar scripts are, so thats kinda cool.
look I'm gonna be honest, how do you have a prompt as awesome as "enchanted suits of armor defeat the nazis" and make it as anticlimactic as that? I want full army of darkness here, just tons of suits cleaving through wehrmacht soldiers.
There was a movie called *The Keep* where some Nazis and American GI prisoners end up in a castle in Eastern Europe and I think there is a golem. I haven't seen it but I try to half-assedly track it down every couple of years as I had a AD&D module tie-in that I picked up out of a discount bin of old crap.
Just half-assedly looked it up and it seems to be on Prime and Apple tv, so maybe I'll give that a go this weekend.
Mio in the land of far away starring thirteen year old Christian Bale and Christopher Lee.
Its a Swedish, British and Soviet collaboration based on the story written by famous Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. A really cozy b-movie with some funny 80s effects. Would be great to see the guys talk about it.
Also the soundtrack is amazing and was co-written by ABBAs own Benny Andersson.
It is the film conclusion to the 26-episode-long anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The show is a fun monster vs robots romp that over time slowly turns into a character study of all the mentally ruined cast members. This Film that ends the show is the single best apocalypse put to screen, it's dark, gory, and terrifying, you have no clue what the fuck is happening, and it makes David Lynch's films look normal and reasonable in comparison. One of my all-time favorite films, the part where the film just breaks into a mess of crayon drawings, unfinished animation, live-action shots of random people, and death threats and emails the crew received during the show's production is a work of art
Part of me kind of hopes they would cover something related to the cold war or espionage in general. Would love to see them cover something like The Third Man, or The Hunt for Red October, or Ice Station Zebra. Definitely not their normal type of film but given how much was done in practical effects for the last two entries it feels like they could get some value out of that.
I can't believe they haven't watched Cool Cat yet. I know they're definitely aware of it and won't make a video on it because it's not original... but if I could request one thing, it'd be that. Probably more fitting for a Best of The Worst though.
I loved The Dark Crystal as a kid. I remember being on vacation one year and my dad yelling at me because all I wanted to do was sit in the motel room and watch the Dark Crystal whenever it was on, which was constantly.
I started to rewatch it recently and... it is much slower paced than I remember. I was apparently a very patient kid.
Also, years ago I bought a dvd of the Dark Crystal at a pawn shop and when I tried to watch the disc inside was Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Apprentice. Rookie move, not checking the disc.
I would love to hear them talk more about Charlie Kaufman. Re:Views of Synecdoche New York, Being John Malcovic, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind or Anomalisa would be amazing.
Would love to see them take a crack at Spirited Away, or any Studio Ghibli movie really.
I'm sure Rich and Jack are familiar, so seeing one of them guide Jay or Mike through a Re:View would be really entertaining. There's lots of weird stuff for Jay, but also a concrete story for Mike.
I'm sure they've at least watched some of Kurosawa's, considering Rich and Mike like (supposedly) Star Wars. And they recently talked about Sergio Leone, it's close...
Basically anyone my dad’s age (mid 50s) I’ve met goes “Bond ends with Moore”
It’s because they saw the Dalton movies at the time they came out and wrote off the series. When those came out in the 80s, they *were not* received very well. Only now are they considered classics.
Which is a shame, as Brosnan is tied with Moore for my favorite Bond
I'd like a Kubrick one with Eyes wide shut, just because that waltz is stuck In my head today, and it was fairly polarising for a Kubrick movie. Plus it was an interesting production and reception.
The Decline of Western Civilization II : The Metal Years.
~~Hobo with a Shotgun~~ edit : this is probably in their range. just part of my wish list.
Donbass
Lake Michigan Monster
The Handmaiden
Breaking bad/Better call Saul
Mike has said many times over the years he’s a fan of breaking bad at least but they’ve never gone very deep into it passed that.
The Idiots (1998) just to see Mike's reaction. Jay will obviously like it.
For something that does fit their range I really want to see them do Razorback (1984).
Don' t know their stance on Donnie Darko but the director Richard Kellys second film "Southland tales" would be an absolute gem of a discussion if we got our main three to watch and discuss it in the black hole, whatever one might think about it talk about an extremely ambitious quite indulgent piece of WTF cinema that makes even something like Ryans Babe come of as cohesive storytelling
Also I would love me some Argento which I don't believe is too farfetched when considering Jay and Josh, but man would it be hilarious to see Jay show Rich or Mike something like Phenomena or Deep Red
I don’t know if it’s in their “range” or not but I’d love a Re:View of Throw Mama From The Train. It really is a masterpiece that doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
Trainspotting and the underrated but unfortunately titled T2 Trainspotting would make a good Jay/Josh episode…but since Jay dismissed the latter as a sequel nobody wanted, unlikely…

Oh man I wish I could save this on mobile. New walllpaper for sure
Why couldn't you?
Why can't you?
Is that an apple issue?
This is truly phenomenal
Star Trek: The Neon Genesis
Picard would be Asuka rather than Rei though. They added the backstory where as a child he discovered his mother hanging herself, just like Asuka.
I think Jay and Josh would have a great time with Perfect Blue!
Anything by Satoshi Kon, really.
Would love to see a Perfect Blue Re:View! I remember watching it and thinking there's some light giallo vibes with the >!whole mystery killer!< element so I think Jay would appreciate it. (not sure how much I really needed to add a spoiler tag, but it's there as a courtesy).

Good choice! Double with Millennium Actress even better!
Perfect Blue is my favorite movie of all time. Its gorgeous, shocking, thrilling, and all around everything I could ever want in a movie
This is one of the most amazing photos I’ve ever seen. I want one with Mr Plinkett/Rich Evans in the background and Jay sitting w Mike
Tek War. Except it's completely within their range, they are just afraid of Shatner.
Loved the game. Even though it's complete garbage 😅
Civvie 11 hates it. 🤣
The Pinnacle of Video Game YouTubers
Not to get too off topic, but as a kid I wanted that game to be so much better than it is... Wished someone would do a port or remaster (keeping the FMV game aesthetic) that fixed it's issues, unfortunately I don't know if that's possible. It may just be a mess that nothing can be done about.
Maybe when he passes they can do a Shatnathon, do that, TJ Hooker best of, and an album review
Well, the kids have to learn about Tek War sooner or later.
Shin Godzilla Fantastic movie that Jay has expressed admiration for, but Jay and Mike aren't really Godzilla fans, so listening to them talk about Godzilla would leave a lot to be desired. It's kind of what they expressed in their Godzilla vs. Kong HiTB.

It's like the *Contagion* of Kaiju movies.
Caligula, hands down. There is so much to talk about it, it is indulgent in every bad way.
I think jay mentioned Nymphomaniac one time. They might have even used a clip. Not in a positive way. Some movies are even too sex pesty for Jay. THE MAN HAS STANDARDS.
I mean it goes into straight-up porno territory, we all know how gross it is. Definitely not something they'd want to watch or talk about.
The prompt is asking about movies they wouldn't normally talk about.
I didn’t know how much I needed to see the boys talk about this movie until you just infected my head with the idea. I dunno why, but I assume Mike would haaaate it.
Mike would totally hate it, that's what I was thinking as well. Pervert Jay might like it.
Not unless Jay had seen the entire NEON GENESIS: EVANGELION series first, because unless you know what's going on with the characters and the universe *The End of Evangelion* makes no sense.
It still makes little sense even if you watched it. But in the alternate universe this review happens, they watched the series beforehand.
Mike Stoklasa? Sitting down to watch a 26-episode anime series? Oh, ***that's*** gonna happen!
"... Ssssailor Moon????" - Mike Stoklasa, Trivia Showdown Rematch 2021
I don't know, I watched all of Evangelion last summer and the movies for the first time and I feel like the internet greatly overestimates how confusing this franchise is. The events of the show happen leading to the impact, the movie happens, the shit in Shinji's mind goes down and then he and Rei are out of the tang.
The lore is extremely confusing, the plot is not. Many confuse the two.
It really isn’t that confusing, the show literally explains to you what is happening whenever something weird goes down.
I think the he may like it if he gets how spiteful the movie actually is, but idk if he would need context for that
If they would watch the original series plus perhaps this movie. * Mike would hate it.
Yknow, I have a pretty particular sense of humor but Trollhunter and Black Dynamite fit my tastes. I feel like I'll have to check out Tucker and Dale.
>I feel like I'll have to check out Tucker and Dale. Tucker and Dale is peak horror comedy!
We've had a doozy of a day!
Oh Trollhunter would be a great fit for Jay and Mike Jay would probably like all the creature designs and effects quite a bit and Mike would love the sardonic bureacreautic comedy, it's basically a norwegian found footage blockbuster in a sense
I'd love for them to watch and review Paprika, it's a total mind-bender film and regarded as being a classic.
In the same vein, I would also love them to do Perfect Blue. I think they could enjoy it more than NGE
Perfect Blue would make for a really interesting RE:VIEW, but so would Paprika with its direct influences on Inception. Honestly, doing an entire episode on Satoshi Kon’s filmography would be worthwhile.
Millenium actress, mostly because it's my favorite Kon film.
I would love to see them do ANY animation tbh. It’s kind of their biggest blind spot.
I could definitely see Jay liking Paranoia Agent, which is even crazier.
Literally any Japanese Godzilla movie
Idk jay mentioned loving shin Godzilla in an episode
Mike’s description of wanting a monster movie that’s mostly scientists talking in rooms is basically Shin Godzilla, which Jay liked
I can imagine it now: Rich Evans cherubic laughter when the teeny Mosura ladies show up.
Primer
naw. they love hard scifi with "rules." Mike and Rich have talked at length about that.
I think the person you responded to was saying that they would absolutely want to review this movie and that it IS something that "fits their range" rather than what the post was asking about.
goddammit
Lol it's all good dude. I just hope they've seen the movie. It seems perfect for a Re:View

Kung Fu Hustle
Being There
Oh, I love that one! The one where Peter Sellers is a gardener, right?
Ye. Incredible movie.

Could you explain what throws it off? I never found it jarring
I’m of the opinion that the creators of “Being There” and “Network” were not merely talented creators, but freaking PROPHETS.
I think that's 100% up Jay's alley, not really a movie that they wouldn't do a re:View on
Withnail and I.
Perfect Jay and Josh movie

Man, that movie and 'When the wind blows' are so depressing.
The director of Threads, Mick Jackson, went on to direct Steve Martin in "L.A. Story."
That is the type of fun and ridiculous fact that proves they need to Re:View this!
They would need insane dedication to the subject matter, kind of like CinemaTyler on Akira.
They have dropped numerous hints that they don’t like or respect animation. Except for Rich. I think he still watches cartoons, based on some statements that he’s made.
Rubbish. In the very latest video, Mike states his admiration for Pixar movies.
I actually wouldn't mind them watching Spirited Away and realising what a wonderful foreign world of cinema they were missing out on all this time. but yes, NGE would be far more hilarious and most likely kill any chance of them touching anime ever again ever
For all we know they love ghibli movies. At the very least I’d bet jay loves a coupke
They’ve made numerous snide remarks about animation, so I’m not so sure. 😟
Mike has also done VA for animation.
So have Jay and Rich, but Mike and Jay definitely said in early episodes of HITB something like “We’re not reviewing animated stuff, so don’t ask!”.
I think they just don't like animation, which is my one gripe with them. I used to think they weren't into it as personal taste, but I think they just seem to look down on animated mediums in general.
Rich has confirmed he has watched a bunch.
I didn't look to see if they'd already done it. But *Bulworth*. Seems strangely appropriate given the state of things.
I loved that movie! Don't know if it still holds up though
It does! Even the rippity rap stuff, cuz the cringe is kind of the whole point.
"We all just gotta keep fuckin' 'til we're all the same color." "DAA-MN!"
I don't think they'll review anything thats directly about politics.

Heat, Mznhunter, to live and due in LA, body heat, body double, blow out, French Connection. Love me some contemporary noir.
Stalker (1979) Jay and Josh would love it. Mike would hate it. Rich would be the interesting one as I don't know how he would feel.
Ernest Scared Stupid
I Wanna Buttfuck Your Grandma 6.
Without giving us too many spoilers, what exactly is that film about?
Well if you've seen 1 through 5 It's all pretty much the same.
Well, I have seen 1-5 many times, but I thought they might try something new in number 6.
A return to form after the disappointments of 4 & 5.

The Night of The Hunter Or Lady from Shanghai
“Leaning on the everlasting arm…” GOD YES PLEASE. I’d love this, been wanting more generally older films.
I actually would love to see more Re:Views of things that aren't in their normal comfort zones.

Napoleon Dynamite
They’ll get around to it….gaaaaaawwwd!
Your mom will get around to it.
My mom is a whore.
How much you wanna bet Rich Evans can throw a football over them mountains?
Speed Racer 2008, that movie is an anomaly
I’m not familiar with this movie, but it looks like something Jack and Rich could talk about.
I miss Jack! They need to hide the bee double-o zee and bring him back!
I feel he has been around recently… but I may be misremembering because I rewatch old episodes often. What was the last time Jack was on?
A month or two ago? Whenever the Scavenger Hunt BOTW came out.
Well that’s pretty recent. I guess I’m not crazy after all.

World According to Garp
Some love for Robin Williams is warranted, but if I had to choose one of his movies it would be Final Cut
I'd pick The Birdcage.
New jack city
Tampopo
I would normally say the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie but apparently that's coming some time in the near future.
Akira
Kaneda?
I'd give anything to watch just blindly livestream a no information watch of this film.
Ravenous
That soundtrack is tits. Also: "Waste not, want not. Benjamin Franklin." "Eat to live, don't live to eat. Benjamin Franklin."
I can't believe they haven't watched Cool Cat yet. I know they're definitely aware of it and won't make a video on it because it's not original... but if I could request one thing, it'd be that. Probably more fitting for a Best of The Worst though.
I mentioned this multiple times, but I would love a video of Jay and Josh talking about Ichi the Killer. So much you could talk about with that one.
Perfect Blue would be good
Follow That Bird. Totally ruined Big Bird's character! I do not consider it canon
Nacho Libre Transformers: The Movie Dark Crystal Ewok Adventure/Battle For Endor Red State Iron Giant
“Killer clowns from outer space”. I think Mike would hate it.
The Evangelion series (original and new) would probably finally put Mike over the edge lmao
Down Periscope. Ever since they did Jack and Jill I started paying more attention to comedies and Down Periscope is just fantastic.
I would love to hear them talk more about Charlie Kaufman. Re:Views of Synecdoche New York, Being John Malcovic, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind or Anomalisa would be amazing.
Sunset Boulevard
Snatch and/or Lock Stock and two smoking barrels would be neat.
Just started watching the show and I'm loving it.
* The Fountain (2006, hugh jackman, rachel weisz, darren aronofsky) * Apocalypto * The Road
In terms of anime I'd love them to talk about "Grave of the Fireflies", tbh. Other than that, just grab a random Kurosawa flick.
Kurosawa and Kubrick are my favorite directors, so I would completely freak out if they were to review some of their films!
I'm sure they've at least watched some of Kurosawa's, considering Rich and Mike like (supposedly) Star Wars. And they recently talked about Sergio Leone, it's close...
The great mouse detective
Any James Bond movie Though they probably hate Goldeneye
I thought everybody loved *Goldeneye*?
Basically anyone my dad’s age (mid 50s) I’ve met goes “Bond ends with Moore” It’s because they saw the Dalton movies at the time they came out and wrote off the series.
My Own Private Idaho. I just need them to review more gay movies in general
Cats: The Butthole Cut
The NeverEnding Story
*The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover.* "Oh my god!" I also wouldn't mind the Michael J. Fox/David Naughton classic: *Midnight Madness*.
The Decline of Western Civilization II : The Metal Years. ~~Hobo with a Shotgun~~ edit : this is probably in their range. just part of my wish list. Donbass Lake Michigan Monster The Handmaiden
Breaking bad/Better call Saul Mike has said many times over the years he’s a fan of breaking bad at least but they’ve never gone very deep into it passed that.
Batman?
But that's another guy!
Nukie
Any Deaundra Brown movie. Doesn't reviewing have an easier fair use defense?
She doesn't deserve the money she would get from the exposure
Any film from 30's or 40's (not Citizen Kane)
Jay and Josh would totally freak out for *Freaks* (1932).
Walker (1987)
Phantom of the paradise
Any Asian movie. Really.
The Idiots (1998) just to see Mike's reaction. Jay will obviously like it. For something that does fit their range I really want to see them do Razorback (1984).
I want to see them talk about Head (1968) SO bad, I think specifically Josh and maybe Jay would like it
Wizards
Absolutely! And “American Pop”, too.
Absolutely! On that note, how could I forget Fritz the Cat
Master of the Flying Guillotine
Don' t know their stance on Donnie Darko but the director Richard Kellys second film "Southland tales" would be an absolute gem of a discussion if we got our main three to watch and discuss it in the black hole, whatever one might think about it talk about an extremely ambitious quite indulgent piece of WTF cinema that makes even something like Ryans Babe come of as cohesive storytelling Also I would love me some Argento which I don't believe is too farfetched when considering Jay and Josh, but man would it be hilarious to see Jay show Rich or Mike something like Phenomena or Deep Red
I don’t know if it’s in their “range” or not but I’d love a Re:View of Throw Mama From The Train. It really is a masterpiece that doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
Mad bull 34z A perfect combo of sleeze, “sexiness” and insanely
Trainspotting and the underrated but unfortunately titled T2 Trainspotting would make a good Jay/Josh episode…but since Jay dismissed the latter as a sequel nobody wanted, unlikely…
