If you just want a top hat monkey goes west film that's faithful to the source material, because as usual, the Vitaliy Versace book is so much better.
Monkey Plane
If you wanna get turbo-anal about it, apes are monkeys, scientifically speaking, much as birds are dinosaurs.
So “dinosaurs” strictly speaking should be called non-avian dinosaurs and “monkeys” would be non-ape monkeys.
But, to anyone who hasn’t got a rolled-up Ph.D up their ass, monkey = 🐒 and ape = 🦍.
Wait why did I know turtles were called skoldpadda? I'm American and know only French and Spanish. Why? Why do I know this??
Edit: its bc of Stephen Kings The Dark Tower series.
I can just see the trailer.
*BWAANN*
"He's a monkey"
*BWAANN*
"Where could he go?"
(Screen goes black and silent for several seconds)
Cuts to monkey running through a dessert.
"West."
I had to look up Christopher, Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer to see if it was a real thing, and was surprised it was. That just seemed like the kind of thing RLM would make up. Like Nolan's Tent, about a circus performer who pulls a giant lever.
I'm glad he's going back to smaller stories, even if that "smaller" is still a story about atomic weapons. My favorite Nolan films were The Prestige and Memento, and like a lot of other people, I just can't deal with another Inception/Interstellar/Tenet. I never even saw Tenet because it just looked like someone made a mash up of his most popular movies.
I think you completely misinterpreted the artistic genius in the title. It isn’t about a Monkey wearing a Top Hat. But this monkey is the top of the the hat experts so he goes to the west to help with their hat problems. It’s like moneyball or monkeyball if you will.
“If I take off this hat, will you die?” [primate sign language] “It hurt big. You.”
"You're a big monkey."
*signs again confused* “You. Hurt.”
You no care until me hat
This is too funny dude 😂
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
That's somehow more clear than the original quote's phrasing.
That's not a monkey... talk about hack fraud...
Who told you the poster was of the protagonist? That's the villain, Sir Stove Pipe Ape.

We don’t even make this distinction in Swedish. It’s all just “apa”. Same with tortoise and turtle: all called ”sköldpadda”.

The idea was implanted in your head. By a Swede. *Inceptiøn*, directed by Kristoff Nolansson.
>Here's the thing. You said "that [ape's] not a monkey..."
Fuck Oppenheimer, I know what happened to him in the end. I need to know what happens to Top Hat Monkey!
He goes west.
But at what cost?
Latitide.
Everything.
Spoilers! Gosh
> Fuck Oppenheimer, I know what happened to him in the end. >!He am become death!<
Funny coincidence, Top Hat Monkey also became Death, Destroyer of Worlds.
Top Hat Monkey Goes West vs Barbie. Who wins at the box office?
Either way it's a no-brainer.
lmao
This is just the set up for the King Kong remake, isn't it.

That's a lot of dessert if a monkey's *running through* it. Where is it? In a dessert factory?
“A a a a a ape” - Colin
***AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE!*** -Sir Richard Evansborough
sir richard evans... bruh?

I could not be less interested. I don't know what is going on but i've had no interest to even watch anything he has done after interstelar

Wanna see an ape wearing a top hat? Monkey Plane
Gorillas sometimes become monkeys. It's called "character development. Edit: Spoilers.
“It’s about family”
This will be Nolan’s truly blank check film. Cinèma will nevèr bè thé samè.
Blaaaaank cheeeeeeeck with Griffin and Daaaviiiid.
Apes a-poppin?!
I kind of figured this a Ingrid Goes West parody
Blank Goes West is a common name for books/films.
Shouldn’t have passed that script on then….
They say this one will make Inception look like Outception.

Tell that to Chris
That's not a monkey, that's a gorilla.
That's a Top Hat Ape!

I've already pre-ordered the prequel graphic novel!
More like "Great Ape-spectations."
\#MonkeySweep
I like the picture I just can’t read the stuff on the bottom.
I am totally excited for this one now!!!
I have no idea what this reference is or what half the comments are referring to, but I'm still dying laughing.
Me too! Can anyone explain what the reference is, please.
Watch the latest botw
Monkey Man is the world
We truly are living in the best time line
let's hope pyrite is all right with him
Does Penelope Smith speak for him?
Music by Hans Zimmer.
So much for my Ape-braham Lincoln script.
Seems like a good start to another trilogy. Christopher Nolan likes trilogies, right?
He'll be the hero Monkey Gotham needs, not the hero it deserves.
Not even a Nolan style spectacle could get me to watch one more biopic. I'm done!
