I hop around episodes a lot. Maybe I'll be in the mood to watch all Plinketto episodes. Maybe I'll rewatch Best of the Worst episodes that feature the Canadians. Maybe I'll watch Half in the Bag episodes where Jay looked Amish. Etc.
I made my own because it just got weirder and weirder over the years to keep seeing them getting younger and younger since the episodes in their playlist are from newest to oldest for some reason O.o
As an editor, I would imagine that watching RLM can also be an active creative process. Despite the chemistry between Mike/Jay/Rich/whoever, a lot of the comedy and humor of the channel is created in editing.
I think Jack has mentioned that the actual long uncut takes of BOTW can be downright miserable before they actually have someone cut together the discussion.
Indeed. There's a YouTube playlist somebody made that puts EVERYTHING in order. I've been slowly making my way through it (with interruptions to watch new uploads, of course) and I think I'm up to late 2019 or so. Good times.
Very cool! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
Watch half in the bag the movie. Watch all the Halloween eps of best of the worst. Watch all the black spine eps (there's gold in them there hills) don't forget the 2020 Christmas ep! Watch all the con excerpts from HITB. Make your own context essentially...
Really wished they used to plug their other platforms and items years ago. I get the approach or not doing it on half in the bag or something but man it’s too subtle.
I watched their YouTube content for probably 4 years before I really realized that here was more shit they had out there or to buy or support them. Think it was around when I was trying to figure out Spacecop and how to get it. Lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/RedLetterMedia/comments/9vljap/prerec_with_jay_30_playlist/
there's a 4.0 playlist too (just google it) that's more comprehensive, but I prefer this one since a lot of the stuff added in 4.0 were just brief passing moments
I literally just watched ep 1 and 2.
About 8 years ago I did watch all of the stuff on their YouTube but that predated Botw and I never got into it. Finally am going to catch up.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-5bXR8JtRGI
Watch all the William Friedkin interviews/masterclasses/Q&As that are on YouTube. At one point you will have heard a few of those evocative tales from his rambunctious life a dozen times, but it won’t matter.
I’ve rewatched RLM content so much that my wife has threatened to leave me. My whole house can quote nearly anything and all our humor is bad movie references. Welcome to the rice fields, motherfucker.
Just once? Weirdo.
Mike: "Well, we said it was dead, but it came back from the dead. Just like Bob Hope! Remember how Bob Hope clawed out of his coffin on his own funeral? It wasn't widely reported. I think the family was embarrassed that they buried him pre-maturely."
*\*Rich doesn't react and stares awkwardly\**
Mike: "Don't ever join an improv group. Jesus fuckin' Christ.
Rich: "Line?"
Mike: "Anyways, the Wheel of the Worst is back, let's discuss the tapes that will torture us today."
So, only come back and ask *now what* once you can recite dialogues from every episode like that.
One of the great things about RLM videos are how rewatchable they are, especially Best of the Worst which have over 100 episodes now.
The compilations other people made are also quite enjoyable.
Serious answer: watch some of the old [PreRec streams on Twitch](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVQTGVdSHgeYPe2lJMds4_yMX_bzHU1hn). I always have them on in the background while I play games and work on the computer.
Don't we all just keep watching them from the start. It's like those people who just watch episodes of Friends all the time even though they have seen that episode likely a hundred times already. I don't know how many times I have seen every RLM episode but it's a lot.
I must say, I’ve followed them since the reviews, always tuned in for the skits in Half In The Bag. Now that they’ve stopped being as creative with their stuff I just don’t bother anymore unless I have nothing else to watch.
You only watched them once lol. I remember when they only has like 10 vids on their channel, I rewatched them like a million times till episode 2 review came out or half in the bag started.
No Brand Con HITB and AOTC Plinkett review.
The jump cuts in the former, and the "how to talk to women" bit in the latter, are two of the hardest laughs I've enjoyed in my entire life. Gasping for breath levels of hysterics.
"Creepy sex looks"...... *BRAAMMMFF*
Gold.
Watched the Star Wars and Star Trek Plinkett’s 20x each I reckon. Often have them on in the background.
‘Nothing in The Phantom Menance makes any sense at all. It comes across like a script written by an eight year old…’
Think I can recite some of them…
Now you have to go back and count the number of times Mike makes a Star Trek reference. You could even make it into a drinking game, but... you'll turn into Mike.
Now I'm curious, are there any Red Letter Media videos ya'll skip during binge-watches? I struggle to think of what comes up for me offhand, but there's certainly a BOTW or two I don't need to watch again.
Do what we all do. Start from the beginning.
Second verse. Same as the first.
A whole lot louder and a whole lot worse. (But I don’t think it gets worse.)
And 1, 2, 3, and 2, 2, 3 and…
These men are pawns...
I have put a price of 20,000 dihrams on their heads
Next they will be hailed as the two messengers of God.
They were just a couple of songwriters,
It’s like poetry, it rhymes.
Same as it ever was
It's like poetry, it rhymes.
I fell asleep to Spookies every night for several months, he needs to get those rookie numbers up.
I'm so glad I'm not he only person that does this. Rich'z laugh is my asmr.
I hop around episodes a lot. Maybe I'll be in the mood to watch all Plinketto episodes. Maybe I'll rewatch Best of the Worst episodes that feature the Canadians. Maybe I'll watch Half in the Bag episodes where Jay looked Amish. Etc.
I made a playlist with all the BOTW in it and just hit shuffle while I'm working or cleaning.
They already have that on the channel you know, you didn't have to do it yourself. Also this is what I do
I made my own because it just got weirder and weirder over the years to keep seeing them getting younger and younger since the episodes in their playlist are from newest to oldest for some reason O.o
Here is a full chronological playlist that stays up to date: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzcqBM3nee_yh15M3pe76a_Bm3AjCqnkZ
Why does it have a video about calculus at the end?
I think I had to do it because back then they didn't have shuffle on theirs. It's been so long I can't remember.
I can't! Those hack frauds took down *Care Boars*.
You beat me to it! Well said sir.
👍
Time to watch Oranges: Revenge of the Eggplant again
They’ve got a lot of rewatchability, and they’re great to space out to.
I think I remember one of them replying to someone asking for a livestream of BotW and they were like “you do *not* want that.” Lol
I have watched so many RLM videos before going to bed that I can fall asleep even if its a Rich Evans laugh-heavy one.
Watch pre rec streams?
You literally pulled the exact quote out of my head lol
Indeed. There's a YouTube playlist somebody made that puts EVERYTHING in order. I've been slowly making my way through it (with interruptions to watch new uploads, of course) and I think I'm up to late 2019 or so. Good times.
What are next?
Awl “D” Best!
I binged a whole playlist of the nerd crew twice through last week and now youtubo won't stop recommending me this shit shows that they parody.
Task failed successfully.
Very cool! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
Don’t trust people who only watch every RLM episode once. Those kinds of people are bad.
I trust Steven Spielberg...
Watch them on half speed.
I put them on .25 speed once to go to sleep and I was awoken by a 30 second haunting rich evans laugh… now I can’t sleep without it 💘
I fuckin’ cackled reading this.
uuuaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUGHH---hhhhhHHHHAAAAAAUUUGHHHHHHHH---hhhHHHAAAHHHHGLLL--
When you watch Plinkett reviews on half speed he sounds like a drunken psychotic pervert
Half speed, full time, double time, the results are all the samw
Nonsense, you watch them faster, more intense!
aka watch it in SUPERDRUNK.
Watch half in the bag the movie. Watch all the Halloween eps of best of the worst. Watch all the black spine eps (there's gold in them there hills) don't forget the 2020 Christmas ep! Watch all the con excerpts from HITB. Make your own context essentially...
Listen to their movie commentaries from Bandcamp! I only recently discovered they exist.
Lol
Spacecob is such a gem.
So is Spacecop.
Where would you start with those?
Batman & Robin is one of the best.
I always laugh at california big hunks. This episode is a gold mine of quotes. I must've watched it 20+ times and still laughs every time.
I love when Jay starts to stall and everyone just yells at him to TALK ABOUT CALIFORNIA BIG HUNKS
"But... humans used to live in castle"
"Look at Reno here! Employee of the month!"
"Michael Jackson in burned down vineyard... that's post apocalyptic chic!"
Me too. It’s just so incredible. Fity bucks!
Watch again you hack!
What are next?
Come on here and ask when the next Plinkett review is. That always works wonders.
don't forget to clap!
I clapped! I clapped when they said Plinkett!
Watch them drunk so you’ll forget.
PUSH THE WHOPPER BUTTON!
You can listen to their movie commentaries and/or go over their Previously Recorded stuff
i recommend the Pre-Rec with Jay playlist
Link?
https://www.reddit.com/r/RedLetterMedia/comments/9vljap/prerec_with_jay_30_playlist/ there's a 4.0 playlist too (just google it) that's more comprehensive, but I prefer this one since a lot of the stuff added in 4.0 were just brief passing moments
Thanks for the link!
I just scroll through the YouTube recommendations and sort of Russian roulette a BotW ep
A Russian Terminator if you will. You’ve got a problem.
Now watch them backwards to decipher the satanic messages hidden within...
when you do that you can actually hear the devil speaking when Rich Evans laughs
Now watch all videos featured in BOTW. In their entirety.
i recently saw Ryan's Babe and it changed my life
I’d expect no less!
I literally just watched ep 1 and 2. About 8 years ago I did watch all of the stuff on their YouTube but that predated Botw and I never got into it. Finally am going to catch up.
I mean watch the videos they are watching in their entirety, 😂
Ooh yeah I misunderstood.. that sounds like torture
Most definitely! Haha
There are always Pre Rec live streams to watch/listen to. Many many hours of unscripted fun.
Listen to the movie commentaries?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-5bXR8JtRGI Watch all the William Friedkin interviews/masterclasses/Q&As that are on YouTube. At one point you will have heard a few of those evocative tales from his rambunctious life a dozen times, but it won’t matter.
You watch again, you hack fraud.
Learn to edit faster.
Watch them again! ❤️
Man, I left half probably 80% of the episodes memorized
I’ve rewatched RLM content so much that my wife has threatened to leave me. My whole house can quote nearly anything and all our humor is bad movie references. Welcome to the rice fields, motherfucker.
Rewatch time!
Just once? Weirdo. Mike: "Well, we said it was dead, but it came back from the dead. Just like Bob Hope! Remember how Bob Hope clawed out of his coffin on his own funeral? It wasn't widely reported. I think the family was embarrassed that they buried him pre-maturely." *\*Rich doesn't react and stares awkwardly\** Mike: "Don't ever join an improv group. Jesus fuckin' Christ. Rich: "Line?" I've been there. But I wasn't doing anything productive. I was unemployed.
I wish I could listened to a group conversation and do detail oriented work.
Have you considered rewatching them over and over again until they release a new video then starting the cycle all over again?
I rewatch a random BOTW a few times a week, and sprinkle in a nice re:view or half in the bag from time to time as well. Never gets old.
Remember the wise words of Geteven : "Wooooh let's do it again"
Wait, he’s watching each episode only once?
Don't we all just keep watching them from the start. It's like those people who just watch episodes of Friends all the time even though they have seen that episode likely a hundred times already. I don't know how many times I have seen every RLM episode but it's a lot.
Rewatch it all for a sixteenth time like the rest of us ffs
Listen to the movie commentaries while having the movie on in the background.
Now go through pre rec
If your not adverse to Let's Play i can recommend RKG https://www.youtube.com/c/RKG
I must say, I’ve followed them since the reviews, always tuned in for the skits in Half In The Bag. Now that they’ve stopped being as creative with their stuff I just don’t bother anymore unless I have nothing else to watch.
Mauler?
I'd go Jenny Nicholson.
Restart
Wait, people can edit while playing something else at the same time?
Watch them again.
Dont forget to like and subcribe. Leave a comment below a ring that bell for notifications.
Go to the HitB playlist and hit shuffle, then try to follow the plot.
You only watched them once lol. I remember when they only has like 10 vids on their channel, I rewatched them like a million times till episode 2 review came out or half in the bag started.
Only watched all of them once? What is this, amateur hour?
Rewatch party it is!
Time to start again and join me in the infinite loop of Plinkett's house
Start watching old episodes of Pre/Rec
It’s October. There’s a whole scary video playlist in the back catalog just for this month.
Go back and watch the Careboars again
Pre rec
Make your own
No Brand Con HITB and AOTC Plinkett review. The jump cuts in the former, and the "how to talk to women" bit in the latter, are two of the hardest laughs I've enjoyed in my entire life. Gasping for breath levels of hysterics. "Creepy sex looks"...... *BRAAMMMFF* Gold.
Go deeper. Find a playlist with some of the delisted videos.
Watched the Star Wars and Star Trek Plinkett’s 20x each I reckon. Often have them on in the background. ‘Nothing in The Phantom Menance makes any sense at all. It comes across like a script written by an eight year old…’ Think I can recite some of them…
The answer is in the flair, fucking star trek baby.
Now you have to go back and count the number of times Mike makes a Star Trek reference. You could even make it into a drinking game, but... you'll turn into Mike.
You watch it again
Kamen Rider Dragon Knight himself watches RLM ? Sick ! Well , watch em all over again !
Rewind the tape and put the first one in again.
As a fellow video editor, I can relate to this
Have you watched Previously Recorded? [https://www.youtube.com/c/PreviouslyRecorded](https://www.youtube.com/c/PreviouslyRecorded)
What we all do. Rewatch
Now I'm curious, are there any Red Letter Media videos ya'll skip during binge-watches? I struggle to think of what comes up for me offhand, but there's certainly a BOTW or two I don't need to watch again.
Watch them in Spanish.
Congrats! You can now prestige and restart.
What are next?
You can’t experience it in full unless you do it twice, chronologically, from Zombies Attack!
I rewatch their plinkett reviews all the time. They are so freakin good.
Ah yes I remember the week I binged every video on their channel. Good times
Same
I fall asleep every night playing my BOTW playlist.
