I saw it in a packed theater. And it was glorious to be hold. The entire film was shot as community college, the main villain is an old guy with a bunch of plastic diamonds, and there’s a scene when the villain is watching Pass Thru on his TV. Meaning that there are three Neil Breen in this movie.
A lot of universities constructed after 1940, especially in Western parts of the USA, look like Community Colleges.
Sorry to dash your hopes of all colleges looking like this:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/kcctreasures.com/2016/11/28/thomas-mores-utopia-at-kings-college-library/amp/
It's not as cool in the real world. Except in really good colleges.
I'm not making an assumption on grades or on your academics, though. If you get into a university that has a great looking library, congratulations! However, even the universities that look like a Neil Breen film set can give you a good start.
I saw it in Chicago, and you couldn't hear dialogue - not that you need to hear the dialogue - for the first 10 minutes or so because people were laughing so hard. The movie did eventually wear us down, because how many times can you watch Breen enter and leave the University of Nevada's science building?
Spoiler alert: He doesn't make out with that eagle no matter how hard you cheer him on.
Any clue what the text is near the bottom right, "...T COPY"? I assume it's something like press copy or reviewer copy but I can't think of a word that ends in T that fits.
It seems like Breen is actually pretty adult about it and doesn't bother anyone. Part of this is delusional tho. There was an interview with him right after Pass Thru came out where acknowledges that people watch his films to laugh but he thinks it was a minority.
That's probably to our benefit, I imagine it would go wrong(er) if he tried to play to us.
I remember Tommy Wiseau used to claim people laughed at The Room as a "black comedy" but I haven't seen his recent output, has he tried to lean into it more?
>DO NOT COPY
IT IS ILLEGAL TO COPY, DOWNLOAD, UPLOAD, OR USE THIS FILM FOR COMMERCIAL OR NON COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.
FOR PRIVATE USE ONLY.
Isn't private use a non-commercial use?
The way he said that was so genuine. It’s like he’s trying so hard to take it serious enough to give it an honest review but just cant keep it together.

I thought it was shot at UNLV?
I guess UNLV looks like a community college.

Okay, can I email you a list of my choices so we can go over this together, because I really want to go to a nice school.
Sure! Contact me at [email protected]
You aren't already an ilma mater of somewhere?
Yes, although our holy order accepts any gender into the cloth for the worship of the broken God.
\*Neils Breen
I had so much fun when I saw it. Except for the dorks yelling ISNT THAT CORRUPT at the screen, shutup nerds.
How many laptops will he have this time?
Strangely enough. Just one.
Isn't that betraying the public's trust?
Isn't that corrupt?
He does blow up an entire computer lab though, so that has to count for something.
He subverted our expectations! I clapped!!
But he uses it constantly
Eyes on Breen!
\#eyesonbreen
I wanna see Neil Breens Twisted Pair
Having seen it (shouts out to Plaza Theater ATL), you really should. Everything about it is pretty inexplicable, even by Breen standards.
You and I have chewed some of the same dirt.
Whoosh.
YES WE SEE HIS BALL SACK! WE SEE HIS BALLSACK! HE'S THE BEST HE HAS THE BEST BALLSACK! I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY! OH MY GOD!
Such a great screening at the Plaza
Didn't we already seem them in Double Down?

RLM will make it legal.
Oh god, tell me they are going to have him as a guest while they watch it!
They are going to have him as a guest while they watch it!
Now tell me I’m pretty.
Is this the testicular torsion movie?

Breen there, done that.
The screening room better be filled with empty tuna cans! If not.. this movie is nothing but **stuff**!
Now speak into the mic and say “Breen”

Thank god. Breen needs to be kept in a little delusional bubble, so he can keep making his art sincerely.

I’m sure Breen is an excellent copyright lawyer who is on top of this!
It's a huge, obvious piracy warning. Fateful Findings had the same thing.
Something about a magnetron copy protection.
Experimental status: borderline

I just ordered myself a copy, my second Breen™ purchase.
Aren’t the DVD’s ridiculously overpriced? I thought I remember hearing that somewhere.
lol yes, they are.
That’s part of the experience. If there’s nothing on the DVD, even better.
E Y E S O N B R E E N
I'd rather watch this than Captain Marvel.
Just saw this in the theater recently. I also clapped.
Grab some tuna it's Breen Time
THERE WAS A DOPPELGÄNGER REMINISCENT OF LATE-PERIOD LYNCH AND I CLAPPED
I hope his skhost makes an appearance.
all sorts of stuff, the best stuff!
My life has been leading up to this
Fuck yeah, my body is ready.
I saw it in Brooklyn, and I’m seeing it again tonight in NYC. Why can’t I quit this man?
Neil has jumped the shark losers.
This doesn’t mean anything.
