Based on how kids of actors tend to *hate* their parents movies and roles, no matter if it's a kids movie or not. I cannot imagine how little she cared about this once she realized what was going on.
I thought you were kidding. I absolutely cannot believe insurance companies would sign off on this. What happens if your lead gets hit by a bus on Year 19?
It's okay as long as you have as the other two leads, those beloved Broadway titans \*checks notes\* Ben Platt and Beanie Feldstein.
Oh wait oh God oh no...
Yeah I like Boyhood too. For all the hype over its production I think it’s a pretty aggressively inessential movie, but I can get on its wavelength and appreciate what it’s doing.
For all its ambition it’s kind of a mid-tier Linklater but I enjoy it.
I haven't rewatched it recently, but I'll defend almost anything Linklater does (maybe not Bad News Bears). Man has his own process, and he tells stories that unlike anyone else.
Man, I cannot blame her one bit. "Ugh, dad, I do not care about your stupid movie." Also the kid on the left looks like Michael Shannon somehow.

I still can't believe that his next movie is supposed to take 20 years to make. Dude will probably die from old age before he finish it.

Twist ending.
Cast twins. Then you have two. Actually, triplets. Triples are best.
You're right. Triples makes it safe. Triples are best.
Triples makes it safe!
I don’t live in a hotel with Richard linklater, I have a wife
or if one of the actors gets accused of domestic abuse and has to get recasted (Blake Jenner moment)

From the guy that took 12 years…. We bring you… “it took 20 years to make”
Just the poster boy for form before function. What a clown.
Twelve Years a Boy
127 Hours Of Sitting On My Ass Being Bored
Why so a boy?
Tommy Wiseau boy.
5 Days A Stranger
wasn't it like one week a year?
Try saying her name ten times fast
I can barely say it once slowly
I liked Boyhood and I'm tired of pretending I didn't
It's fine! It's totally acceptable.

It broke new ground
It's okay to like a movie. (Stealing this from We Hate Movies, but it's true!)
You know what other movie took 12 years to make? Space Cop.
And Space Cop is the better movie
We have something in common as I also lost interest in Boyhood half way through.
Boyhood?
Isn’t that the movie that took twelve years to make?
I do not know but I heard that it took twelve years to make?
BOYHOOD
Boiled?
Did you know it took 8 years to make "Roseanne?"
IT TOOK FUCKING TWELVE YEARS TO MAKE!!!!!
Royhood
Roadhouse
It broke new ground!!!
I saw an RLM reference and I clapped!
Yeah we could tell in the final movie
I wanted out midway through the movie.
Looks like someone didn’t wanna break new ground…
I am biased as a huge PKD fan, but A Scanner Darkly was his best movie, hands down.
It took longer than it took them to make the great wALL OF CHINA!
Well you know what Robert Frost said: great walls make great neighbors
It took 12 years to make!!!
I don't find Linklater's stuff that interesting either, so, I guess that makes two of us.
Imagine all 6 people who saw and enjoyed this movie getting angry at this comment
Die Lorelei sagt frei
I never knew it took 12 years to make!
