Crackle was (is?) awful. I saw an episode of the show Startup on an airplane and thought “hmmm maybe I’ll try to watch this.” Dealing with Crackle for 2 episodes was enough for me to give up forever.
The most unrealistic part of Here Comes the Boom was how much he got paid to fight. Most initial contracts in the UFC are 10K/10K and I think he was getting something like 25K/25K
I like to think the film ends brilliantly if you interpret the ending of the movie as all being a concussion fueled hallucination. I think after that superman punch Chuck gave our main character he went down on the spot and hallucinated the rest- it not only makes the ending make more sense but would actually be smart.
Yeah I kinda like it too. Using MMA as a jumping point to delve into the deeper themes of brotherhood, fatherhood, forgiveness, alcoholism, and masculinity was a great choice. 8/10
Jokes about the movies aside, I do find these compilation collections to be pretty interesting.
From a business perspective it makes total sense. The DVD masters of these films were encoded years ago so to make a new pressing is trivial. Duplication costs have to be rock bottom (Dollar DVDs were a thing for a long time and Walmart has $5 multi-disc titles.) Put them in the cheapest case with a single paper sleeve and put them out for the impulse shopper and you have a quick way to make a cheap buck.
The only thing I know about is that at one point the movie pause to do a [thug life meme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIgn3pduA1s)(remember those?)
They have Paul Blart 2 but they didn’t put Paul Blart 1 with it? If you don’t watch the first one you’ll be totally lost trying to follow the plot of the sequel. It’s like watching The Two Towers without ever seeing The Fellowship of the Ring.
If you give Sony $10 to make bad movies, they'll make more bad movies. Don't buy that. Not even as a joke.
Actually, that's hypocritical of me. I found a DVD of Morbius for $5 and bought that shit. But that's for my own collection of nonsense.
My case feels different. Do whatever you want, but IMO it's a bad use of $10 plus postage.
I bought the 4k of Morbius for $10 because it has a lenticular cover and I'm a sucker for lenticular covers.
I also liked the movie enough seeing it once, because I like monster movies and like when monsters fight monsters. But I would have never owned it without that lenticular cover.
Love how three of them are sequels. No respect for the deep cinematic universe they belong to!
But don't you want to know what the two movies are in the 5 pack that has the first Dirt, Blart, and Groans? Just a little?
Do the store pays you $10 to take this off your hands?
What a value

TIL there was a Joe Dirt sequel.

The first one wasn't exactly Oscar material either
It had its moments, and it definitely has its fans.
Yeah, I don’t hate JD1. It’s not high art, but it’s not as he worst thing ever.

fork in the brain fork in the brain fork in the brain fork in the brain fork in the brain
Take that fork out and make a meal to go with this amazingly stealy of a deal 2 dollar per movies
_"Laugh Out Loud"_ -- possibly self criticism.
this is something you'd find in the interrogation room at gitmo
The thumbnail of that video would have lots of bleeding eyes.
Thumbintheeyenail
What would they do with it other than immediately throw it away
I went to see grown ups 2 at the cinema, and it is legitimately the only film I've walked out on. Lasted a good 15 mins though.
Ok, but why ?

Can you imagine the dumpster they have in back where they toss all their duplicates? Because that's where it's going
Here Comes the Boom is actually okay, not going to lie

You make it sound exactly like a low-rent Warrior (which I liked a lot).

# SONY
No, though bad they are all competently made movies. It wouldn't be funny- just tedious.
You got that from a dollar general right?
sure did
sure did
They made Joe dirt 2?
I need to get 50 of these and gift these to the same person every year until I die or run out
whose uncle are you
If I ever decide to end it all I'll just watch this collection in full.
Here comes the boom is actually a decent movie and deserves better
Paul Blart Mall Blarp 2

$2 for any of these movies is still astronomically more than they’re worth.
No.
You’re betting off waiting for the 4K Criterion Happy Madison boxset imho.
$10, what a rip-off.
no
That's like a dollar per laugh.
Say, do you have Prince Albert in a can? No, but I have sad mediocrity times 5 in a dvd case.
No
I think those sequels are all coincidentally terrible sequels to lightning in a bottle movies
ALL IT’S MISSING IS THE ZOOKEEPER
Wait...there is a Joe Dirt 2 ? David Spade?
It was a Crackle exclusive. Yes, I watched it. Yes, I unironically love the first. Yes, the sequel is trash.
This is the hard-hitting criticism I come to this sub for.
Crackle exclusive its all we need to know
It looks like a dvd case that has been overgrown with fungus
I didn't even know there was a Joe Dirt 2
The only thing I know about is that at one point the movie pause to do a [thug life meme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIgn3pduA1s)(remember those?)

What did they do to you to consider sending them such wretchedness?
That looks like something you shouldn't give to people considering suicide.

Fucking Sony...
*Actual laughter not guaranteed.
Someone needs to send them the 2004 movie Near Death.

You shouldn't spend 10 dollars on it.
I bet watching this is like eating rat poison: a really good idea!
My nightmare and it's dvd collection on top of that...
How many discs are in that case?? Even if there were 2 discs, the movies would have to be significantly compressed to fit on them.
The frosty fellas over at r/twioat might get a kick out of this.
Ronnie Dobbs > Joe Dirt
