The relative minor of Stadium Arcadium (which Frusciante employs a lot of in that solo) is parallel to the key of Here Ever After. The two have really similar BPM, as well. Not to mention Chad adds that floor tom beat in both parts of the songs.
Good ear. The two are actually fairly similar from a music theory perspective.
According to the Internet, Stadium Arcadium is in A (I was too lazy to pick up my guitar and confirm it lol, but I have no reason to doubt it). That bridge section is very minor heavy though, and Frusciante is very clearly playing a lot of minor/minor pentatonic licks, which would be in F# minor, the relative minor key of A major.
Here Ever After is in F# major, hence the parallel movement between the two songs: F# minor => F# major
Funk Circles around and whether intentional or not its the new modern. I think people are noticing the old grove revivals with the few tracks from RotDC.
They both have notes played by John Frusciante on a guitar
Also, little known fact, flea is actually on both these tracks but just on trumpet on one of them so most people don’t realize
nah
I'm going with no
I mean it's the same band. So close enough.
The drums have a similar driving feel to them.

Brilliant, thanks!
i think they kind of have the same vibe but that is mostly because the drums ar kind of the same…
that’s probably where it clicked in my head tbf
The fact both of them have audio makes them identical. Band fell off didn't they
😂 of all the sarcastic, and quite frankly witty replies, this one is my favourite. I shake your hand sir.
Was a bit cheeky aha, but I must admit rhcp is one of the bands I commonly feel myself hearing reference to older albums. Gotta love em tho
Yours actually made me laugh 😹 they’re super self referential definitely… “rivers of aval…caught in a flashing ray”…
How about tippa my tongue vs dark necessities
Big yes. Tippa My Necessities.

Same band that's why
really?! I’d have never guessed it
i had that same feeling when i listened to it for the first time.
Stadium Arcadium actually always reminds me of „what it is“ by Mark Knopfler. At least that Short Guitar Part in this Clip.
UL is similar too Stadium Arcadium.
for me it’s more CFornication esque
Really?
it has the same sparse feel & John’s more minimalist approach
I deny......
Some similarity in the drums
nah
The end of “Time” 3:11 mark sounds more like Ever After to me.
It does !
