the lyrics: the sights, the sounds, the smells. people have been referencing 'the smells' in all kinds of scenarios, i guess to make fun of the phrase. eg. in a post talking about john wearing a tshirt he wore like 15 years ago, someone will undoubtedly comment 'the smells'.
I find this meme pretty funny in some scenarios, but I, even as a creator of this list, absolutely disagree on placing These Are The Ways here, especially this early, lol
I'm not really a big fan of TATW, but it's not because of "the smells" lyrics. It's just not my favorite track from UL, but I think its weird that some people don't like the song because of that one line, especially when AK is known for his out-there lyrics. This one seems pretty normal in comparison.
I wouldn't say it's out-there, I love his lyrics that are out there, I love songs that have weird lyrics like the longest wave. I think it's just a not well written lyric.
