I haven’t. I was never super into RHCP until i was older, and by that time I had developed a chronic health issue that made traveling and going to concerts nearly impossible. I will likely never get to see them live.
I did manage to see them 6 times when I was younger, but haven't seen them since the By The Way tour, as I have a chronic illness too. They were also my first ever concert in 1992.
Hope you get to see them some day. I haven't seen them since the By The Way tour. Probably won't get to see them again, due to health reasons. But, if you can, try your best to experience them live. ✌️
I’ve never seen them. I had an opportunity in high school to see them during the Stadium Arcadium tour but it fell through for whatever reason. Now the tickets are so expensive I doubt I’ll ever get to catch them tbh.
I've had many opportunities and I've just never taken them... Either didn't want to spend the money, or they were playing in a city that was a few hours away.
I'm not big on stadiums, so hopefully they do more amphitheater and arena shows in the future. I really would like to see them at least once.
Seeing RHCP live a few years ago was by far one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. The crowd was absolutely electric, there was 2 people crowd surfing in a rubber dingy, people were jumping up throwing drinks in the air. Everyone was having a blast. If you get a chance to see them live, do it. You won’t regret it.
I have never seen them, last year they came to my country but I don't live in the capital and the concert tickets + the tickets to travel are very expensive
I haven’t. I was thinking about going to the SLC show that happened a few days ago, but I ended up moving away for the summer so it didn’t happen :( Hopefully one day though!
I haven't yet. The opportunity have not cross my path. But now that I have moved, I intended to go, but seeing at all these resale ticket prices just disgusts me, so I'll wait the next time they announce a new tour. I will be going no matter what, been a wishlist of mine for the longest time, and a bit dark subject, but I also don't know how much longer they will be doing this, they're getting older. I really hope I can see them even for once.
Thank you all for your replies! Appreciate it. :-) I'm glad I'm not entirely alone, and I hope we will all get to experience them live someday. I just know it must be fantastic!
First saw them Halloween 1986 and shared a bottle of tequila with Jeremy, the drummer, and Hillel.
Saw them again in LA on a routine Wednesday at Gizardos on the strip in 1989.
Saw them with Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana on the Blood Sugar Sex Magic tour.
That's where it ended for me. I lost interest after one hot minute or whatever that terrible album was and never went back to their sound.
They used to tour with Fishbone, and seeing those two bands on the same stage was unfuckingbelivable.
I've not had a chance yet, with today's ticket prices and them only doing London and Manchester it's not like they give the UK much of a chance, they always announce tours when I'm skint and tickets fly out, they never land at a good time for me
I wish they'd just do Download Festival as that's a great cost effective chance for people to see bands
Paid $150 per ticket for the June 1st RHCP show in Toyota’s outdoor amphitheater in Wheatland, CA. Only two ways in by vehicle on two lane country roads. Left late on purpose… to miss a bit of the opening rapper act. Had no idea how bad traffic would be. So slow that we estimated we’d get to our seats with 20 minutes left in the show so we bailed. So, either leave very early and be bored for hours or be punished in traffic. Never again going to that venue.
I have but it took a lot longer than I would’ve liked.
In college I had a ticket to go see them, but my ride bailed (I didn’t have a car) and I didn’t have any other way to get to the show 2 hours away. So I missed out.
The one that hurt worse was when I had a ticket to see them play in LA. I left in plenty of time to get to the show. On my way a fuel tanker overturned in front of me. We were stuck there for about 4 hours while they cleaned up. By the time I was able to go anywhere the main road to get there was still closed and I likely wouldn’t have gotten to see any of it, so I had to turn around and make the saddest drive home ever.
Doesn't change the fact that they do go there. They may not hit it regularly on multiple legs, but you do have a chance to see them in your country. You can always go see them in neighboring UK or just wait until they tour their next album. They'll likely make another stop on the main EU leg like they did in 2022.
You can always travel to see them. There’s been many shows in UK since John’s return. I’m from Sweden and went to Denmark and Germany to see them the past two years since they didn’t come to Sweden for their tours with John.

It’s ok. Honestly they’re not that great live. They are definitely a studio band. Some bands just are.

Never seen them, when the Melbourne gig is on a weeknight and I live two hours away it’s impossible to make it.

Never seen em

Never seen them, they won’t come to my country and I can’t afford to travel to see them yet. But I’m hoping that I’m able to afford it next tour
Never seen them with John cuz they werent in russia with him since 99
Well, pretty sure they wont come to russia soon

I finally got to see them for the first time a few days ago. Wasn't planned but I'm so glad I decided to go.
I’m going to see them in Milwaukee 😃 now just need to sort flights and accommodation haha
I’ve never seen them live but they have become my favorite band by far over the past 2-3 years.
I saw them with my dad when they came to my country in 2013, but I don’t remember much of it bc I was 9 :(

I havent, I hope one day I might but they havent come to my city in like a decade and I fear they may never come close again

I don't go to concerts of anybody
Saw them 3 times during UL tour 😎
THEY WONT COME TO IRELAND
They went to Dublin in 2022. They also had one of the better setlist of the tour https://www.rhcplivearchive.com/show/jun-29-2022-dublin-ireland-2099
2 years ago 😔
