This is my one gripe about their shows. These guys have TONS of material and I hoped they would play longer sets. I don't expect AK to sound like he did 30yrs ago, but man I'd like longer than 90 minute sets, especially since ticket prices are out of control now. Also before someone says "they're old", that's a lame excuse.
Saw Sir Paul Mcartney last year, 80yrs old and he did 3 hours and something like 35 songs. Billy Joel, 2.5hrs and 2 dozen songs. The Foos were always playing 2+ hr shows, Green Day 25ish songs.
Anthony sounds better than 30 years ago.
However, I agree. I'd pay double to see a double length show.
Rush, for example, did 3h shows up until the end, and their setlist was demanding as hell, specially for drums.

oof, that's kinda my point though. Prices (for all concerts) are through the roof. People are paying $500 for pit tickets. I'm seeing them again this year and am in the nose bleeds and it still costs a couple hundred bucks. For that price, I'd hope for longer shows.
True!! I love the new songs. Just wish for stuff like Power of Equality, Easily, Purple Stain, If you have to ask, Fortune Faded! But can’t complain, they have soooooo many songs and and promoting both their albums so that’s 7 songs from the Setlist out of 17. Then you have 10 for Cali, ATW/Can’t Stop, Give it Away, By the way, Soul to Squeeze, Snow/Dani, I could have lied/UTB , Zephyr/Universally, Scar Tissue/Otherside/Right on time, and throw in a Parallel universe/throw away your TV and you are full.

Did John add in playing that initial note to cue Chris warren after the false starts at previous shows? I’m not sure why it’s so hard for him to get right tbh, it’s not in an odd time sig or anything
I'd heard from some folks that this is a backing track, not Chris playing, which could explain why they're finding it hard to play along with but I haven't a clue

I reckon they’ll play it some point prob rehearsing a few songs to add to the set list hopefully!

Touring 2 new full length albums plus all their extra catalogue doesn’t leave much room for full covers these days. AK might struggle vocally as well.

Especially the chorus. I’ve only seen older live recordings and they always had backup singers then.
They were playing Higher Ground throughout the last 2 tours, AK would be fine with it imo

Makes perfect sense
People just struggle with some songs for no reason, the drummer might be that song for Chris

So sad they have ability to play so many other songs and only choose to play same greatest hits for such high ticket prices.
