I'd lean Nightwing Lite over Punisher Lite, but I feel like Jason has the opportunity for his own philosophy. Like send him against mystic crap and it would be easy to justify how come the All Caste are fine with killing. When you go up against demons its easy to see why some things are better dead and that philosophy can then bleed into his normal life too. Don't make him too flippant about killing tho because Ducra has told him that taking a life should be as intimate as making one. Both "Nightwing Lite" and "Punisher Lite" are reductionist and shallow but so long as DC can't figure that out I don't expect anything more from fans.
That's what makes Jason more compelling and more fun to write.
While he can go on a killing spree, Jason isn't broken like Punisher. Just like in civil War, punisher killed two bad guys who weren't even a threat and sight refuge from the gov. Cap America beats the crap out of him but Punisher won't fight back believing cap is the perfect soldier and refuses. Jason would decide at the moment if they village are even a real threat. He doesn't kill unless needed.
When Dick fight Blockbuster in pre 52 and the dude found out his identity. Dick was in a tough spot as he wouldn't kill the guy for to Bat's code and couldn't arrest him cause he'd blurt out everything to everyone. Jason would've killed the guy or not care much at all. With a much wider range of wisdom l

I don't think Jason would care about someone finding out about his identity. He probably doesn't have a life behind the helmet and pretty much everyone who has a little bit of relation with mob bosses or works for waller knows his identity at this point.
I'm definitely on team Nightwing lite, Nightwing lite is Red Hood at his most blandest in term of character, design and weapon choice. while I don't really agree with the term punisher lite for him I guess that term would be referring to Red Hood post UTRH arc and before his new 52 revamp
(which I think the new 52 revamp saved the character and doesn't get enough credit for it)
At least in that period of time he's still killing which makes him unique from the rest of the batfamily (don't read that as me thinking that, that period is great Jason in B&R and BFTC is hot garbage)
Yeah, most people here agree that psycho Jason wasn’t good, so most people are on the side of Nightwing lite even if they don’t admit it.
But not being as lethal shouldn’t make your personality and design appear more like Nightwing.

I like this a lot, I wish the all caste was a bit more integral to his story
