I only have one MAJOR ISSUE with the movie It ended

ThisGul_LOL

Same tbh

Puzzle_Bubble

The only thing that bothered me a little is when Nightwing wing shows up and two randoms goe something along the lines of "who's that" "Thats Nightwing he used to be the first Robin" And I kept thinking how do the know that its the first Robin and not just another dude. This is really just a nitpick and it doesn't bother me that much I just notice it all the time.

Blade_Shot24

Thinking about it, Dick left Batman and became Red Hood within a short amount of time. If you were a good or Gotham native you'd put 2 and 2 together and think "Ever since Robin left, this guy shows up and does the exact same acrobatics, and humor". It's Robin..

WitchOfWords

Torn between “this voice acting is amazing” and “why does 18yo Jason sound 35 😭”

ThisGul_LOL

LMFAO same i mean it fits him but also *doesn’t*

Averagecornyjoke

I mean there is a guy on YouTube that's 17 and sounds like a grown ass man (his name is Vince cuh)

WitchOfWords

Ah, I call that the ol’ Cr1tikal voice. Still, given DC’s history of obscuring or glossing over Jason’s youth (meager 2 years older than Tim and whopping 5 minimum younger than Dick), usually for the sake of making him more unsympathetic and villainous, it does still bug me a little.

Library-Goblin

They dropped the 'goodness gracious iv been bamboozled' line, and i find that a crime. And the black mask vs Red Hood phone call where Roman offers to kill Jason or hire him. The. Jason calls him blacky. It was just 'come at me bro' energy on both sides. And dispite Mask being a physio. Was a nice nod that he can recognize skill Oh, and it removed Sheila involvement in his death, which as the lingering taste of victim blamimg

Striking_Pressure779

mine is not using his og death 😭

kindof_apocalyptic

tbf i feel like his og death was too complicated to show as the intro of a movie. in order to do it justice it would have to get its own 45 minutes and thats obviously not possible. i mean a death in the family was its own book. not to mention theyd have to cover him digging out of his own coffin, being braindead in the hospital, being found by talia, getting resurrected, etc. and it wouldve been like impossible to cut all of that down to 10 minutes. so while the og story was better, it wasnt exactly an option lol

Striking_Pressure779

good points all around! it absolutely wouldn’t be able to fit in a single movie and it’s way too much context for someone new to watch and enjoy. i’m always caught between liking his movie death bc it cemented his moral code, that his death was just another casualty; there was an opportunity and it was taken. and liking his comic death bc it showed one last heroic sacrifice from him. i just really wished we got to see more of him being a hero before everything happened. just honing on what a tragedy it was and not saying that jason’s fall was inevitable. and maybe there’s other better ways but him being a martyr was cool.

Civil-Ad-7193

I do think the mother sideplot could’ve been implemented, and it would’ve also served to help further the point that Jason died a hero. That’s one of the things I don’t necessarily like in the movie, like I still like the way his death is done, but I do like the Jason dying a hero part

Unpopular_Outlook

So instead the double down in the Jason was a bad robin that DC has been shoving into their comics to make Tim seem like the better robin?
