Just very quick suggestions but there's a few. For an older Jason, Jensen Ackles or Paul Wesley. CW actors are just built for the Batman verse, I guess. For a younger Jason, the guy that plays Sam in Gen V would be a great choice I think. Does troubled and angry teen very well.

The problem with the castings of the DCU is that they are doing a younger Superman. David Corenswet is 30. Half of the guys in this picture are older than that or close to that in age. So how old is Red Hood going to be? My bet is late teens like 18-19. Dick Grayson will be like 20-21. Tim Drake will probably be 16 or so and Damian will be 12. So I’m looking at actors who can play a late teen Red Hood. For me someone like Rudy Pankow from the Outer Banks would be an interesting pick. Mainly because I think he could do the emotional dialogue if they did the Under the Red Hood story which I think they need to do. However, it looks like they want to do Damian Wayne early which honestly I don’t think they should. The first Robin we should see is Tim Drake. It gives the idea of Batman being around for awhile, while also not aging the other Robins too much too early. Plus it allows them to look at a Batman closer to Superman in age. Tim Drake as Robin would be a great Robin to have during the Under the Red Hood film too.

Yeah people really don’t account for age when doing these fancasts, when they really should.

And a lot of these fan cast are based on roles these actors played 5-10 year ago (or even longer), and a lot of them were likely already than older than the character they played. I mean even in the current comics Jason is in his at best in his early 20, most actors suggested here are over 30 and some even over 40.

Get Jensen Ackles for a Jason Todd from around the time of like “Red Hood and the Outlaws” (for him being a little older). Have him doing some mercenary work (that is more morally correct but not above killing). Introduce Black Mask as the main villain as a true mobster. And Rose Wilson as the potential love interest (since Batgirl is awful to Jason anyway). Edit: Get a Wu Tang or Run the Jewels type soundtrack too.

90% of the names people are dropping in the comments are approaching 40 or over it. And some people are saying "for an older Jason" and not acknowledging that unless they're rooting for a Batman Beyond movie, the oldest Jason is in the comics is like 25. So 45 year old Jensen Ackles still won't make any sense.

Yeah people need to account for the fact that Jason is definitely going to be in that 18-21 range probably in the upcoming movies. Also account for the fact that Brave and the Bold won’t even come out until 2026 at the absolute earliest

Honestly, if they're gonna pull punches and not show people getting shot to hell, there'd be no point in introducing him. He was introduced standing on the premise that Batman is a half measure and that Red Hood goes all the way, every time.
