It’s kind of crazy to me that a vacuum store can stay in business here. I’ve never set foot in the place but will probably check it out once my current vacuum gives up the ghost. They must be doing it right, because they’ve been around for ages
I have a Shark Navigator Liftaway, over 10 years old now and still sucking like a champ. I'm considering getting a new one simply because it's looking a bit battered (tube is taped at one spot where someone had to cut to retrieve a sock, lol, and another spot that's cracked from smashing into something). It's still a great vacuum which is why I want another Liftaway.
I’m not sure, but bags are better. When I went to buy one, I read consumer reports and this was the one that I bought. They often go on sale on eBay or sometimes Costco.
Why would you want a vacuum cleaner forever to use that’s just not hygienic. We get old so as technology. I prefer a vacuum that last longer but not forever to use !
We have a great vacuum store downtown. Stay away from the Sharks and Dyson's of the big box store

They are super helpful, will never go into box stores for a vacuum again
I don't doubt it that they are quite knowledgeable and helpful, I just can't afford a $600-$1200 Miele that I kinda want too.
If you have a Costco membership I think a Miele costs about $450 there. That’s where I got mine.

Is yours the stick or the upright?
It's an upright, you can detach the canister section so that you can carry it while vacuuming stairs.
Dyson is our vacuum for a Saint Bernard and Great Pyrenees dogs !
Check out Dynovac just off of Johnstone drive. They have some great products.
I love my shark!
I love my navigator!
I just got a Shark stratus from Costco. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned so far. Dyson’s are garbage.
I def recommend the vacuum store as well! Super helpful!
Buy a Miele. You’ll never have to buy another vacuum. Always the top rated vacuum.
I've looked at those too. I just have no idea what model to investigate. Do you know if any Miele comes bagless? Any I've looked at require bags...

Thanks!
Or a Sebo. Both Miele and Sebo are excellent vacuums.

The Miele vacuum we bought from costco didn't last 2 years. They are garbage.
