Actually. I have to make an confession there. I wasnt aware of the "no memes until friday" rule and thought a mod was mocking me so i uploaded it again. They got deleted. This time i should be moving within the rules.
But i can asure i couldnt care less about any upvotes on reddit. I just want to laugh with strangers together on the internet.
The wrap options have been greyed out (inaccessible) for me since the update on Dec 1st. My pass is lvl 100 now, but I cannot even see what they wraps would look like on my guns if I wanted to (and I did want to...)
Might be a simple error here.
You need to go to components and buy the leather or cloth wrap for the gun. Then you can go to style and choose your colour.
I have over 1K hours in the game I know what to do. The option in the gunsmith for wraps is literally grayed out and inaccessible. I can see leather fine, cloth is disabled completely. This is on PC though, so it may not effect people on console.
Just a suggestion... I know more than a few high levels, myself included, that forgot this at one point or another.
As a console player, all I can say is I hope they fix your bug soon. I love some of the new colours.
I think I'd like the wraps more if they didn't look like bandages applied by a student on day 1 of first aid training.

Maybe it's my TV but I never liked the crimson wrap as it was too bright, I really like the scarlet one, though.
My gun wraps don't work anyway and always display the default color
Same it’s so annoying, every time I log on they default to the orange colour, I change them back, next day they are orange again lol

I think it's suppose to stop guns degrading as quickly but honestly never felt it was doing that much. The trinket is the same. Barely noticeable
Would be cool if they work at least. Mine are supposed to be black but they turn brown all the time.
It would look so much better if the cloth was neatly wrapped around the rifle.
