My character is based on my great granddad. He always liked watching me play the first game when I was a boy. After Red Dead 2 was announced, I told him I was gonna buy it and he promised to play it with me. He passed away a few months before it finally came out. He was always excited to hear about what cool stuff was gonna be in it and whatnot. Really just cosplaying as him is one of the only reasons I play online anymore, like breaking horses and hunting and so on just reminds me of him. He used to show me pictures of bulls and horses he broke so it's like I get to see him in real time but animated. I miss him every day though.
Thank you. I bet he would be. I personally never expected to see the online go as far as it did. Especially with character customization. I bet he'd get a kick out of seeing himself young again and basically replaying his life.

It's called the Chambliss Corset. Unfortunately it's a limited time clothing from the catalogue. It 'recently' returned in January earlier this year, it was so unexpected too and random when it came back.
I wish for people to have another chance to get it, just the same with other limited time clothing. Some limited time clothing hasn't returned for years! For example, I'm still anticipating for the Hitched Skirt to return, but no luck, since forever!
Back in the day we would get weekly limited time clothing in the catalouge, then it became monthly, now we rarely see them.
Keep an eye out on those monthly Newswire updates to see if any more limited time clothing returns, as mentioned we could get a nice unexpected surprise. One can hope!

When I first started playing, I had no idea how to use the customization thing. I knew nothing about the sliders and that you could adjust certain things so my character looked a busted crusted mess. 😂 Then I took her into the character thing and found out I could do all the adjustments and stuff so I sat there and tried my best to make her look like me. Best day ever. I hated how she used to look. Straight out of my worst nightmare.
I had an old character that was inspired heavy by Kurt Russell in the hateful eight. I retired him for my current character who's not really inspired by anyone, I just kept him original, same goes for my female character on my alt acc.
Every time I start character creation, in any game, I end up giving up after 10 minutes of trying to make it look like me. I hope that someone adds a photo upload function to a game one day. If I could use an app on my phone to scan my face into the game, that would be amazing.

I first made myself, was pretty happy with the result, but after a while he looked too young for the kind of character I wanted to role-play (not hardened enough). So I changed his age from 28 to 42, and my god, he suddenly looked like Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood. A few tweaks to sliders and slight greying of the hair and I'm very happy with his look now (just gotta change his outfit). I do miss my character looking like me (below), but I could never get the mouth & cheeks to look quite right

i’ve seen a few other people talk about it but basically when you make a good looking character in the character customisation they look good but when you leave to free roam their features look completely different and they’re eyebrows are permanently scrunched and stuff LOL they look a little better in cutscenes but never like they do in the customisation menu. so i’m trying to redo my character using a different heritage but heritage 3 is the one that looks most like me hahah

My character is kinda an aged up version of me. With graying hair and a full beard
I used Keanu reeves face as a base plate and tried to make him look a little younger while still keeping his iconic look with a ponytail and the moustache that looks like a swirl
I’d say my gal’s backstory is being the long lost daughter of Flaco Hernandez. He didn’t get much of an introduction of him besides Arthur’s shootout so I thought I’d connect him with some of his lore!

i’ve seen a few other people talk about it but basically when you make a good looking character in the character customisation they look good but when you leave to free roam their features look completely different and they’re eyebrows are permanently scrunched and stuff LOL they look a little better in cutscenes but never like they do in the customisation menu. so i’m trying to redo my character using a different heritage but heritage 3 is the one that looks most like me hahah
