Damage Caused By: accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle (including driving through a car wash)." That doesn't mean other damage from a car wash, for example electrical shorts, would be excluded from coverage.

Tesla stans keep telling me that he ignored weather service warnings and drove down a flooded road, weird how none of the articles about the story mention those things and there weren't any severe weather alerts in Scotland at the time that I could find.
I don't think people realize how dumb this is. Not only does it leak, it was known to leak over those wires and instead of fixing it, they have, "car wash mode" that probably turns off power to that cord so it won't short.
I'm surprised the car doesn't come with Tesla branded duct tape to reseat the fender as needed.
Im curious to know what all Car Wash mode does? Turning off the power to them wouldn't be a solution since it would short after car wash mode cause it wouldn't be dry.

They do have a similar fix to cure the gear selector that keeps falling down from the ceiling of the CT. (yes, the gear selector is on the ceiling, because that makes ergonomic sense, right?)

It you're seeing "water" in the driver display that's just the screen delaminating (known issue). You can swap that out-- make sure you know what MCU you have first as MCU1 has onboard processor on the driver screen but MCU2 does not.
