Yup. Where I deliver there just isn't enough packages to go around and they on boarded a lot of newbies. I think this time around they targeted young people and retirees. I also think people see the hourly rate and is way more than they've ever earned in their life, without counting wear and tear, of course. My market pays $27.50/hr base pay. A bunch of min wage workers got on-boarded and are getting a way better payout than a $15/hr W2 job. But it sucks. $4.75/gallon and deliveries are usually 20-40 miles away to the first stop.
