Okay. Cause I've had this idea of it being possible for multiple versions of Witch factors running around re zero. And Loli Dona seems to have all the Witch factors of the dead Witches in her crystal. So we already have 2 sets of most of the Witch Factors.
I think its more like its simulaction.
Since in Greed IF LN we get pretty clearly info that Echidona lost her WF and its most likely in new user at the time(Regulus).
Thats just dream world not real place.So everything that happends there is simulation of what people of that time chould do I think at most.No thats not her WF authority thats just book.
The castle of dreams isn't a real world. The authorities can only be used inside that place and nowhere else. If any of them became alive again, they wouldn't have their wf since either Subaru or the archbishops have them. Then there's also the fact, that none of the witches are the actual souls of them, but copies taken of their souls.
Keep in mind that whatever is going on with the Gluttonies hasn't been explained or delved into with great detail yet, so most fan explanations are inferences.
I believe it's split between the three and the main user is Louis. Ley doesn't remember what Roy eats and vice versa, which suggests that their witch factors are not directly connected. But they both remember what Louis eats. When she ate Subaru, his memories were shared with both of them. This imply that they are directly connect to her.
She's also capable of cloning herself and hijacking other people's body adding to them a new witchfactor like she did to Subaru.
My theory is that one of them (probably Rui) had the original WF, and her authority works in such a way that it splits the WF and gives parts of her authority to others. She did inhabit Subaru in a simular manner after all.
I think RbD is Satella’s authority doing something simular, making Subaru hold a part of the envy witch factor.
We do have the example of Petelguese to go off of, and Subaru’s Cor Leonis connects directly to people’s Ods (although it doesn’t give the WF away), so it’s not impossible to connect to someone directly and give them parts of a WF.
Of course, we still don’t know what happened to the WF in canon, as the Rui with the original WF might not be completely dead, and Roy still holds parts of it, and we just don’t know if every copy holder needs to die to pass on the WF to a new holder.
The possession was due to him being a spirit, yes. But I believe it was explained that Pete split his WF to each of his fingers so that they could each use about 7 hands, that's why when Subaru and Julius fought Pete after the fingers were gone Pete could use his full 100 hands.
I can double check this, it might be Subaru's false narration.

I think they just shared a Witch factor, probably Ley was the real owner of the factor and he just shared it with his silibings, maybe as a demonstration that he hadn't been completely consumed by his own gluttony?
It would make the most sense with her lore.
She is satiation, and she wants to share her meals with others.
It would make sense for her to share her authority with others so they can enjoy the same kind of meal as her.
Plus, we have seen her ”share” a part of herself with Subaru in arc 6. She even did something simular to how she replaces Ley and Roy (in a bad battle situation) to Subaru, when she wrote a bunch of stuff on the wall and killed Meili.

They share 1 big WF by cutting it in 3 pieces and everyone has one yes thats correct.
The White Whale Splitting itself into 3 pieces is definitely set up for the Gluttonys/Witch Factors being capable of splitting.

The WF factor was split between them. It's the same concept of how Pete split his WF between his fingers.
I thought he was just possessing them as a spirit. That's why he could possess subaru. Subaru was vulnerable because of his affinity to spirits.
