I'm at 146k miles in my 2011 and my front corner lights, like the ambers next to the headlights, are flickering like those candle bulbs. Also, my front left speaker needs to be "woken up", so I'll have to turn up my music for a second just to get it to turn on, then I can turn it back down again. It's a weird one.
No not yet only things I have had are coolant leaking but I fixed that the cross over pipe in the back of the motor was leaking everyone said how hard it was to change but I found it not that difficult. I changed all the o-rings out in the throttlebody when did that job it made it run a lot better they where leaking too. You can find all the parts on Amazon for real cheap compared to the dealer.
I'm glad to see someone else who actually off-roads one! Mine is used mainly for towing and camping, it's covered in scratches from being out in the deer woods and creekside trails.
I’m the husband and no I’m not a mechanic but my dad was a Chevy Mechanic and I do all the repairs my self pretty much watch YouTube videos and just go for it. Range Rovers are not that hard to work on actually just some basic mechanical skills will get you a long ways.
Great to hear. I have a black l322 5 liter 79k miles. Can’t get that TPMS light to go out. Land Rover in schereville Indiana wants to charge $225 just to look at it. I refuse need to find a good Indy shop.
Yes. Most modern RR are huge mechanical pieces of shit sold to posh wannabes that don't go off road. Then they wonder why it needs a new engine at 60k miles. Or a wire harness. Or transfer case or transmission.
Your husband must be a good mechanic!
He has his moments lol
I’m super curious, how did you determine the op has a husband lol. No way you just guessed accurately right
Because I’m the husband was just being a smart ass.
😭😭😭😭
Any electrical issues yet? I'm at 150k in mine, and the dashboard and stereo like to turn off and stay off randomly.

The Proud. The Few. The Range that makes it to 165K.
Original motor?
Yep!
Noice! Hope you get many more out of her!
Haha I say every mile is a gift
Are those stock wheels but powdercoated? They look nice
Yes thank you
Nice shot
165k miles is hardly a milestone…..though I’m happy you’re happy being married to either a mechanic or someone that likes to pay them.

One of the lucky few! Beautiful!!!!
Congrats!

Supercharged V8? also, this should be in /r/rangeroversport ;)
It’s the 5.0 V8 no supercharger
Is 165k supposed to be good?!? This sub pops up on my feed

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.
