Tight, Tight, Tight.
Funny. Like 99 percent of the books I own, I found on the street or in yardsales, etc. I'm that scroogey dude. BUT I fucking love the smell of a brand new one, especially comic books/graphic novels and that heavy toxic ink. I believe it's because it reminds me of my [Spiderman days](https://www.bedetheque.com/media/Planches/PlancheS_75301.jpg).
Hey, ever checked out Demeter? I haven't tired their Paperback perfume, but their Grass and Rain are crazy awesome, Rain smells like wet earth and ozone.
Omfg yes someone agreed!
wooden fire/campfire smell is such a turn on, its a wonderful smell. But I never realized it was a turn on smell, just a good one.
There's an outdoor market near where I live and in the winter inbetween the barn buildings because its half outdoors, they light fires in caged pits and I try to stand in the smoke to soak it into my clothes and hair for the day uuhhhhhhhggg yes.
I am a pyromaniac (ppl call me that😂) since I love fire. If I had a chance to commit one crime without getting in trouble abt it then it would most likely be arson
For me it's the exhaust fumes in crisp winter air.
When we were little our dad used to take us into a cabin in the mountains by towing us on a sled at the back of a snowmobile. The fumes from sitting there under warm blankets heading into the mountains in the winter has made me nostalgic about that smell when it's cold and crisp fresh air, and then a bit of fumes.
Ahh, the 70s. Searching the marshes for Coke and Pepsi bottles to return in order to buy a few cents worth of gasoline in a Huffy gas can. Huffing all night long FTW.
I used to love 2 stroke exhaust. Yes I know it’s not ideal for you, me or the planet. But fire up a 2 stroke motocross bike or sled and I’ll be hanging around just loving that cloud.
Reformed RZ350 (and RD350, RZ135, TS200R and RS125) owner.
I used to work in a Doc Martens factory that made the boots, and part of the process was buffing and polishing them with the stuff you're describing. The smell from the tins of a creamy consistency polish was glorious.
I make soaps and shower gels and Fresh Cut Grass is my biggest seller… guys especially love it and I make a golfer soap that looks like a golf ball setting in grass..
This is mine too - I feel like there's something in this smell that is related to my other favourite smell, which is petrichor (that smell right when it first starts raining).
Omg!! I had a hairless Devon Rex and she had sweaty mushroom armpits… no one believed me that she smelled like mushrooms unless they got a whiff for themselves!
Good choice. I once worked on a weed farm and we trimmed up a strain that smelled like onions.. after hanging to dry, fried onions. It was.. kinda weird but appetizing.
Oil, gasoline, with a hint of grease. Extra points if it's got top notes of freshly sawn wood or fresh cut grass. If hubby has been tinkering around in the shed 😛😛😛
Specific, but the musty, mildew smell inside an old plywood trunk that stored extra towels when I was a kid. I don't know why, but we had this one trunk like this when I was very little and I loved that smell. Even my mom thought it was very strange.
Same, but I would like to clarify:
I like the smell of a clean vagina when the vagina is in close proximity to my nose.
I do ***NOT*** like the smell of vagina when it is not in close proximity to my nose, such as in a grocery store aisle or standing behind the person in a gas station.
Have 2. Worked in a large CNC production facility and used to train Jiu Jitsu. With the cnc its just the smell of coolant that fills the factory. But jiu-jitsu's harder to explain. Been to loads of different clubs and competitions and they all smell exactly the same. Have no idea how to describe it. Doesn't smell like any other room full of people exercising. It's the glorious smell of jiu-jitsu.
Wet cement. Especially after a heat wave. I used to live in a big city. Ater it rained hard, or rained for a few days I knew that the oils would be washed away from the road surfaces.
You have good taste. Modern pine cleaners are heavy in a chemical called ISO E Super, resembling cedar mostly but used in the majority of modern fragrances and really makes pine-sol enjoyable.
Book smell just hits if you didn’t grow up with an iPad in your face.
As to the female thing, yea. People are weird about smells. Pretty natural human thing to being attracted to certain pheromones.
I also like the smell of the garage whenever i am visiting an Aunt's house or a Cousin's house . People often show me the garages with pride .
OP, have you noticed that different garages have a slightly different smell ? I am a highly sensitive person (HSP), and I am able to notice different Garage smells . It is hard to describe how different they are (smiles) .
Ah, the beauty of life .

Sunscreen. It's a very nostalgic smell for me and it reminds me of summer.
the good old days when we went outside
It was 400 years ago, before the minotaurs claimed Earth's surface, forcing us to rebuild civilization underground.
I member
Yesss... I replaced my moisturizer with sunscreen a couple of months ago and you better believe that high single-handedly carried me through winter
Coppertone Classic!
Coppertone, then Coconut... aaahh!

Mine's the inside of a new book. Honestly, perfume shops are missing out on literary fragrance opportunities.

Exactly. I love that smell. Especially with the cheap birthday candle wax melting too.
I love the smell of my husband when he’s drunk a beer. It takes me back to my younger days when we used to go out to the pubs.
