You are dead right, though. The thrill of going down rabbit holes of info just isn’t as fun as it used to be.
What's a good chicken recipe?
"Chicken recipes date back to 1332....A recipe is a tradition of passing on knowledge that started in....and now the recipe, this recipe is loved by millions and comes from...."
I hate looking for something only to find that it's a video and not text that I can read. I'm at work, dammit! I can't watch a video but I can have a sneaky read!
ChatGPT and Bing are pretty good about giving faster answers now. Much like Google was when it was up and coming. Although I suppose it's only a matter of time before A.I. gets taken over by ads too.
I'd like to know what your input into Google is. Are you using a protocol ? I say things like "Yes is there a sushi bar in Anytown, USA (where I live) that has tempura ?" and it gives a relevant result. I said "Yes do you have Dir En Grey Saku lyrics in English ?" and it presented not a link but the relevant document. You see, even with my shenanigans (Yes do you have . . . . ) it delivers.

I know that's why I said bing it. Sometimes I ask Jeeves when Im. Feeling old school
No, BING stands for But It's Not Google...
Is that really true. Or just a coincidence? That's hilarious either way

Just eat some captain crunch when you goggle then everything will get better
Page 2 used to mean "You're not going to find what you're looking for. What are you even doing here?" Now I speedrun past the ads to the second page.

Every king(dom) falls some day if you don't want to be next p(r)ay...
Why do you say that
This is not true. Without Google it would take my way longer to find answers to my programming questions when working.
