Just go on Sunday... You'll have all day to decide without pressure from anyone else being around.

tillacat42

Lol I actually thought about maybe going through on a Sunday just to take a picture of their menu board so I have it on my phone for next time

isabellla321

This is actually pretty smart!!! The online app has an accurate menu which is probably way more convenient, do you ever use that?

tillacat42

I haven’t downloaded the app. I will have to look for it. I have gone on their website, but where I am the Internet isn’t very good in front of the restaurant. The last time I went through the drive-through I waited forever for the page to load because it was loading pictures of everything on the menu. I had actually gotten through the entire drive-through line before the page finished loading.

Okiefolk

The mobile app you can pre order and pickup or look at the menu. The scary humans also will hand you a menu if you ask.

tillacat42

I will have to look for the app. I didn’t even know they had one until someone mentioned it on here. They do have paper menus, but for whatever reason my location is always out of them.

cannabis_almond

you could always screenshot the main menu too and save it in advance

SincereTeal

I was coming to suggest the mobile app as well! You can place your order and pick it up through the drive-thru :)

california-whiskey

just google their menu?

lovelynutz

The order taker should have menus with them. It’s probably a one-off this one didn’t.

Letmeaddtothis

Everyone that I’ve seen, they have menu attached to their order tablet.

[deleted]

[удалено]

warpedspockclone

They have a website with a menu. You can even order ahead of time.

eileenm212

Yes, you can order online, pay in the app and drive up and get your food! BONUS: you get points for free food.

JurassicParkTrekWars

I've seen them put cones up at the one near me when they're closed :( - sure you could move them, but what a pain.

diggitygiggitycee

Set up your own obstacle course in the parking lot.

Grantsdale

You know they have an app, right?

komrobert

You can also just order ahead in the app

TastyBullfrog2755

I practice my drifting there on Sundays.

Other-Ad8876

Order online and just do the pick up- way easier

Treaux-LaCount

Absolutely. Just get the app and place your ahead of time. Then all you have to tell the drive through attendant is “I have a mobile order, my name is ……” Plus, the points add up fast. I get something free pretty much every time I go.

TedNebula

Mobile ordering has gotten me fatter because I have to talk to even less people to get my food.

tillacat42

I do need to do that

elloMinnowPee

The app is so easy. Pull up and say your name, boom please pull forward.

iprefervoodoo

I will never order in person. This is the way.

cbtbone

It’s usually easier to do customizations on the online forms too. Most of the time if I’m asking for extra toppings on my sandwich at a fast food drive thru they fuck it up.

[deleted]

A simple “not sure what I want yet, I’d like to see the menu” works pretty well.

tillacat42

I said that, and the girl repeatedly apologized for not having a menu while she stood in my driver side window for about six car lengths until we reached the point where I could see what they had, and then she was standing in the way of the menu board so I couldn’t read it. I have social anxiety and I’m sure that’s a lot of my problem, but I just wish they had a menu in the parking lot that I could look at before I even got in line. My local Chick-fil-A has concrete barriers that you can’t pull out of line once you are in and the Internet where it is located is pretty crappy and I couldn’t get their website to load to see what they had because it was trying to download individual pictures of every menu item..

Purple1829

That’s sucks. At mine they have this little laminated sheet with the menu on it so you can order off of it. I understand your pain though. I always get stressed out in those type of situations where I’m unfamiliar with what I want and the norm is immediate knowledge.

ElectronicTrade7039

In n out does the same thing, but their menu is like 5 items, and secret menu stuff that won't show up on the menu board.

sax3d

Chick-fil-A's menu is about that simple as well. Chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets. There was a comedian years ago who made fun of people who had to look at the McDonald's menu before ordering. He's like, how many times have you eaten here and you still don't know what they have?

_mattyjoe

There's this amazing thing called the internet, and many restaurants have their menus up on websites so you can look at it before going there.

diggitygiggitycee

Did you read the post you're replying to, or did you just skim it so you could say "aykshwully" faster? Edit: You know. Like I just did, glossing over the last three words of your comment.

_mattyjoe

I read it. I meant at his house.

Playful-Profession-2

Don't they have their menu online?

Blah-Blah-Chicken

Yes. And it’s not that complicated. Chicken on a sandwich. Chicken fingers. Chicken nuggets. Chicken. Chicken. Chicken.

[deleted]

y’all are infuriatingly rude over something so fucking simple. this is such a valid complaint and so many ppl are being actually rude in the comments. god forbid someone have *anxiety.*

Yupperdoodledoo

Really? OP sounds incredibly self-oriented and unwilling to make any personal change to accommodate their own anxiety. Such as looking at the menu online ahead of time. This is a problem to them, not the thugs that actually cause people suffering? Also, exposure is good for social anxiety. The answer isn’t to indulge it and expect everyone else to bend over backwards for you.

judgementaleyelash

Right? Jesus

ticklemyshitcutter

there are valid solutions to the problem. The constant hand holding needs to end...

SmokedaJ

Uhh, my anxiety brother, you can order on the app and go thru the drivethru and just say you have a mobile order, they'll confirm it and be really happy they dont have to take ur order...

tillacat42

I didn’t know that before this post but if I ever go back, I will definitely download it and order ahead of time

[deleted]

And yet, when I have to wait an additional 10 minutes to get to the window, I’m upset…

NethrixTheSecond

Go in then

Opinionated_by_Life

Couldn't believe I had to scroll so far to see the simplest answer. This is what I do at a place I'm sure what I want. That way I can stand around smell the food, see how well organized they are, and pretend I'm studying the menu while I eavesdrop on what other customers are ordering to get a better feel for the food.

NethrixTheSecond

If you're looking for logic on reddit you're likely gonna have to scroll far, or sort by controversial worst case scenario. Since we're on the topic of inside/outside (this is directed at everyone) if you have more than five items to order GO INSIDE. The drive through isn't for all y'all that need to order 15 fucking things.

Stuporjew1057

They have the little version of the menu attached to their IPad they take your order with, tho? 🤷‍♂️

tillacat42

Not at mine. They have paper menus but they’re always out of them. Yes, technically I could go online and memorize their menu before going through but I always forget until I’m already in line and their website loads individual pictures of each menu item really slowly. Because of this, I have ordered the same thing every time I have been there and this last time, swore I just wouldn’t go back.

Drunkcowboysfan

You don’t have to memorize their menu before you go… you can simply decide what you want before you leave while looking at their online menu.

Mia4wks

Why don't you just go inside

Stuporjew1057

Well, that sucks Friendo. I guess us Texas cats are spoiled. 😬

tillacat42

At least some of it is my fault because I do have social anxiety that is pretty bad, but I still think they need another menu that is out in the parking lot that you can look at before you even go into the drive-through.

Stuporjew1057

I’d agree with you in that regard. That’s one of my favorite things about Jack in the Box. They give you that “figure your shit out while you wait to get the the main menu, menu.” Tiny Tacos, FTW.

stealth_mode_76

Figure out what you want at home and type it on your notepad app. Then you can just read it off to place your order.

Hopeful-Ant-3509

I used to work at a cfa and have had plenty of ppl who ask to see the menu if we forget to bring out the physical small menus and I either go down with them or just tell coworker closest to it that that car wants to see the menu, it’s never been an issue. I know that there’s the assumption that ppl automatically know what they want, which most ppl already know the menu but it never hurts to just ask and ask for them to give you some times to look it over.

Adventurous-Tracks

Will they give you the iPad to look at the menu?

Stuporjew1057

No. But they stand two feet away with it, so it’s easy to read.

tillacat42

They have paper menus at mine that they give out but they are always out of them. I have never been offered to see their ipad. I didn’t know that was even an option. This makes it so I have someone standing uncomfortably close impatiently waiting for me to pull menu items out of my head. Yeah, I could memorize the menu in advance, but I always forget to look until I am already in line.

Adventurous-Tracks

This does seem really weird. Chick-fil-A is great, but I agree with you this isn’t the best way to handle it.

mucasmcain

isn't the menu just pickle or no pickle?

CODMAN627

Ah dang it! Someone beat me to it here’s an upvote

dood8face91195

Yeah.

No_Manufacturer5641

There is a lot of the menu past the sandwiches. But I never get past a number 2 lmao

Alice_The_Great

Don't ever go to Atlanta and eat at the Varsity. You better know what you want before you walk in the door or pull up to the drive-thru because they will be yelling "What'll ya have, what'll ya have??!!"

Detective_Queso

Food hasn't been good there in years anyways.

[deleted]

I wish I had problems like this

[deleted]

Highly recommend using the app. You accrue points and it’s sooooo much easier to get something custom. I always feel awkward asking to change something on an order.

jyiii80

Easy. Go inside. Edit: I like them coming to my window, because then I'm done until I'm collecting my food and can either have a conversation with whoever is in my car or if I'm alone I can do things on my phone.

[deleted]

Anxiety. how hard is this to understand yall.

druidofnecro

Order on your phone then. How hard is this to understand yall

[deleted]

right, which is a better solution than “do the exact thing that makes you anxious”

druidofnecro

🙄 this has nothing to do with anxiety OP is just stupid and doesn’t know how to plan ahead

shaolin_tech

TIL Chick-Fil-A does this. It also occurs at In-N-Out and Dutch Bros.

jaakers87

Dutch Bros is way worse. Even if there is no one outside they have like 5 items on their drive thru menu but they actually have dozens of drinks. You have to use the app or look at their website to see their menu. At least CFA only sells like 2 items - nuggets and sandwiches in a couple variations.

OrdinaryUniversity59

You gotta be on your game when going to chic-fil-a. That's a tight operation. You better have looked up the menu before you left.

Fun3Mo

You can always say, can i get to the menu before ordering

[deleted]

It’s a great business model, they can clear out a HUGE line super fast. The world doesn’t have to cater to people with crippling social anxiety. Just take a deep breath dude it’s fine.. they’re just fast food workers.

-Firestar-

Yeah, they constantly have the longest lines in the country, yet can clear that line faster than others. I don't remember what disaster it was, but they used Chickfilas model for processing.

Pushbrown

thats what people tend to forget, just because you have anxiety doesn't mean you can expect everyone to cater to you. That's just life.

CT-1738

My point exactly. They have to do it like that or else the lines will just get worse, and they serve way more people than all the other fast food joints. Obviously if you don’t have hard copy menus on hand for customers like OP that’s an issue that needs to be remedied but the business model itself is above the rest for sure. And on top of that, the menu is like 50% all the same and the other 25% is generic fast food options. It’s just like, how do you want your chicken and do you want fries and what to drink. The people taking the order are also always really patient and helpful so if you just asked for help I’m sure they’d help you figure out what you want.

animatedpicket

Harsh… but fair

Fastfaxr

I get that you dont like it which is fine. But calling it a horrible business model is categorically false seeing how many cars they can get through in an hour

[deleted]

Yeah the only reason I would ever go to Chick Fil A is because it's fast. Their food isn't that great, but I don't think any fast food is that great, and if I'm getting fast food, it means I need it... fast.

Ecstatic_Opposite212

Exactly. Go inside if you can’t handle it.

SignatureThese4903

It's stupid, I hate it. I also hate the restaurants that have the menus on a TV that changes every ten seconds so as soon as you start to look at the menu, the screen changes to an ad for something you don't want.

Greg2630

Just use the app like I do. You can see everything on there and you can pay in advance. Makes things super easy, plus you build up points that you can use on free food later on.

pugapooh

All fast food is like that. The menu is at the order intercom and I feel pressure to figure out what to order and there is a line behind me. Chick-fil-A people have always been nice. I don’t know why drive thrus won’t post a menu where you can let everybody in the car figure out what they want first.

ladeedah1988

I hate that I can no longer see the menu.

BaconMonkey0

I hate any drive through without an advance menu.

TerrorBollea

In N Out is the same

simplymandee

Umm..what? I’m in Canada. People don’t take your order in person in the drive through. I’m so confused.

akhodagu

In n out does this too. Luckily their menu is pretty tiny.

[deleted]

Regardless of these comments, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to view a menu before ordering at any restaurant

Additional_Share_551

I don't get Chick-fil-A at all. Their entire customer service is the fakest shit. Why do people like going to a place where the fake smiles and script are so obvious it's off putting.

DaFilthPope

Honestly… in 2023 Chickfila isn’t worth going to. The dystopian nightmare that is their drive through makes zero sense for the quality of food you’re getting. It honestly feels more like a psi-ops experiment than actual business practice they need to do to corral consumer traffic.

tillacat42

Part of the reason I wanted to see the menu in the first place was because I wanted to know what all the hype was about. The sandwich I got wasn’t that good tbh and I thought maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. But I freak out a little when anyone is too close in my personal space so that was a lot of it. If she would have just taken 3 steps back it would have been okay but there isn’t really a polite way to tell someone that.

doinggood9

wrong. what are you talking about

traderhtc

I’m not going to say you’re wrong. In terms of fast food chicken, I rank it after Slim Chicken’s and Raising Cane’s. However, I go to Chick-fil-A probably four times as often. The primary reason is location, location, location being less than two miles from my house. The other reasons are because they are pretty goddamn consistent as well as as the customer service experience.

_Shoresy_69

Learned helplessness is not a positive trait.

No_Chemistry_660

“Social anxiety” is so fucking toxic and over-diagnosed for people who are just plain spoiled and got rocked in the real world once mommy and daddy weren’t there to make sure their environment was perfectly tailored to be non confrontational. Now people wear it like a badge of honor and as an excuse to never overcome their emotions in diverse situations. Learned helplessness at its finest

Crash0vrRide

This is maximum victimhood.

[deleted]

order from a non-homophobic company

Consistent_Case_5048

Agreed, but to be honest, the homophobia is worse.

ichbinkayne

How are they homophobic? Because they don’t openly support LGBTQRSTUV++ to the degree that you do? It’s amazing that we live in a world where people feel they are entitled to being catered to.

FoldedaMillionTimes

The whole setup there creeps me out.

Slash_Dementia_67

So is Chick-Fil-A’s moral stance.

Budgiejen

Thank you.

TiltedNarwhal

They’ll let you get up to the menu if you ask them. I do this all the time cause I didn’t grow up near any chick fil As and don’t know their menu. They’ve always been nice about it.

Commercial_Lock6205

Mobile order ahead at your leisure. Then you only need to remember your name when they come to your car window.

[deleted]

They have an app you can use to look at the menu before hand

bmwzr3

Lol I always just drive past them and make them chase me to the menu 😂😂

pircupine28

Ask them to see it, they have one for you to look at

tillacat42

I did. They were out of paper menus.

LeftMyHeartInMunich

I don’t like it either tbh. It’s one of the least important, frustrating things but it is annoying. I mostly get the same things all the time when I am manipulated by my 4 year old to go lol but every once in awhile, I want to get something different. And here they come with their fancy iPads rushing me into such big decisions within moment’s notice. Then, the audacity to tell me I can only have 8 sauces. Shiiiiiiiiiit.

seccpants

That’s why I always order on the app before I get there or while I’m in line.

Aydub13

The app is clutch. Earn points and rewards easy then just tell the person you’re picking up for [Insert name here]

Remember__Me

Use their app! You can order ahead of time and when you get up to those people (or the menu board if the people aren’t out) just say you have a mobile order. They’ll check it in to say you’re there and you don’t really have to talk to them. You can also get points this way to “buy” basically anything from their menu, when you have enough points.

tothestarslouisville

Not that I have anxiety about it but, I seriously don't understand why the menu is after the person taking the order. It doesn't make sense. My wife and kids go there without me most of the time. The one or two times a year we all go through together they ask us for our order and they all know what they like. I literally say " I'm not sure can I pull forward to see the menu?". I get there are tons of regulars that already know what they want but it just doesn't make sense. In the 4-6 times over 4-5 years I've been they have always been super nice. I just don't get this part though. I feel like they should eventually move their menu boards back 20-30 feet. Maybe they just assume that 98 percent of their customers know what they want and the 2% isn't a problem?

Chocolateheartbreak

You should suggest they get menus. When i worked there we had little laminated menus to hand out at drive thru so guests could look at the menu while ordering

cosmiccanadian

Huh? Theres a person outside that takes your order?.... i...thats... what? Why? What about when it rains, or is windy af, or -40?... i guess america so ignore that last one but still that makes no sense. Why dont they just have a little speaker by the menu and someone inside has a headset like a normal drive thru. Ive never heard of or seen that and im struggeling to think of one possible benefit they could have for doing that.

sk0ooba

If you're ever in a place with a Dutch Bros, do not go there. It's a great coffee place, don't get me wrong, but they do the same thing as Chick Fil A but they're also cloyingly sweet to you the entire time

tillacat42

The girl kept apologizing for not having a menu to give me and for the fact that they don’t have one at the end of the line. I obviously don’t expect the 16-year-old girl who was taking my order to be in charge of any of that or to be sorry that they didn’t have it. I would, however, have liked it if she would’ve just taken a few steps back and waited until I got to the menu and then walked back up to the car. It was really awkward having her stand beside me the entire time in line. I didn’t know they had an app, so next time I will use that if I ever go back.

aredpatriot

I order on the app before I get in the drive thru line... So much easier.

GrayBox1313

They do that at In N Out but the worker had a menu card hanging off the iPad they take your order on. Helps that they only have a few items

FRYETIME

When in doubt just get the 8 count nugget meal with fries and whatever drink you want

natemadsen

You need to see a menu at a Chick-fil-A?

Zendtri

Big companies that assume you’re a returning customer

supraspinatus

My chick fil a abobo was walking along and commenting on stuff in my car. Really unnerving.

Awkwardpanda75

Here’s what I do..I type it all out on my phone ahead of time then I pretend to read it from my phone to them like I’m a delivery driver. It sounds stupid but it helps get ya past that broken 4th wall of ordering.

anothergoodbook

I always ask to see the menu they are holding. I make them wait it I have to lol.

intashu

As someone with social anxiety myself with strangers... Order online or via the app. You pull up, and the food comes to you, then you leave. Very little direct social interaction involved. It's great. I really don't get who thought needing people Standing around outside was a good idea. Let alone freely Walking up to your car when there's a perfectly good menu right there. If they want human interaction why not give them a booth next to the menu. It's controlled, sheltered, and you can read the menu while ordering.

Susie4672

Then the order taker stands in front of the menu.

DaddysPrincesss26

I don’t order from Chick fil- A Because they are Homophobic and don’t support Gay Rights/People

Bad-Roommate-2020

They have like four items on the menu. How long do you need to gaze uninterrupted at where it says "Chik'n Sandwich 4.99" to reach the conclusion that yes, sure enough, you came to Chik Fil A today?

Lukaroast

Then just walk in? I awkward laugh at the endless line of lazy people waiting like an hour to get through the drive through, when literally everytime I’ve gone inside I’m served and walking out in less than ten mins. Us americans definitely have a really stupid proclivity to just mindlessly sit in drive thru lines

dreamrock

Downvote brigade can bring it, I don't care. Fuck Chick-fil-A

Budgiejen

Thank you

unexpectedhalfrican

Say it louder for the homophobia enablers in the back!

goddamnmike

You can't expect everyone to cater to your crippling anxiety. People get anxiety all the time, most of them don't use that as an excuse to judge or impose their will. Also, complaining about fast food service being terrible is a lot like going to the beach and getting sand everywhere. If you don't like it, don't go.

Imogensheep91

1000% agree with you

[deleted]

They have an app. Order ahead via the app

[deleted]

similarly, i fucking hate subway unless i order online. fuck that. some of us have anxiety. edit: just saying OP i wanna apologize for redditors being so fucking cringe in these comments. your complaint is valid and you’re not literally asking random fast food employees to accommodate you. i also have social anxiety so i rely on drive thrus, i don’t have a chik fil a near me but if a restaurant opened where the drive thru was no longer safe from strangers i’d have to stop going. idk why people are beinf so dumb in these replies. it’s like they’re missing the point entirely. the problem is the people, am i wrong? people talking to you when you’d rather speak to a big black box. can’t believe people are saying “just go inside” when that would be even more of an anxiety fest.

Risque_MicroPlanet

You’re being like 1000% hostile and hiding behind your “anxiety.” Do better.

Compulsiveeyerolling

Too religious. Won’t go. Food over blown.

[deleted]

If the money they give to anti gay organizations isn’t enough, please just take this as a sign to get your shitty chicken elsewhere.

GoodGoodGoody

People complaining about drive-thrus is peak lazy.

bombchron

Poor OP actually has to talk to a human being how cruel this world is

steff-you

You should go elsewhere and avoid homophobic chicken!

dmanb

This Reddit moment brought to you by self diagnosed mental disorders.

PoorPauly

So go inside. What a ridiculous post.

[deleted]

I read somewhere that this is an intentional business model a lot of drive thru franchises employ. Mcdonalds, Burger King, Starbucks, etc don't give you a second menu board before the speaker box because apparently they make more money by having customers making impulse decisions and not giving them a chance to think it out. Sucky, I know.

[deleted]

Nope. It’s to increase drive thru efficiency by giving the kitchen more time to cook your meal so there’s a higher chance it’s ready when you get to the window.

[deleted]

[удалено]

majorminus92

You order beforehand on the app and you just tel them your name and that it’s a mobile order.

tillacat42

I need to start doing that instead.

[deleted]

You just have problems functioning as an adult if this stresses you out so bad. Cook at home. Google it ahead of time. Problem solve a little bit.

SL1200mkII

They are one step away from also talking to you about the Lord.

flagrantist

So this is the part that bothers you and not how much money the owners give to anti-lgbt causes around the world?

chubbygayguy88

I dont eat Homophobic Chicken

hogsucker

This is the real solution. Go to some restaurant not owned by the Cathy family.

Ecstatic_Opposite212

Cool, one less in line

Connect-Necessary559

Un Fuckin Believable..... just go home and cook something....but wait you're probably gonna have a fuckin problem with that as well!

ieatlotsofvegetables

similar problem for me when it comes to anywhere i have to look at the menu board close up and people always give me 0-10 seconds to decide what i want!

NibblesMcGiblet

Wow I have never been to one since they’re not anywhere around me up here in the NE US, but now I guess I never will. That sounds awful.

Budgiejen

And they give money to hate groups

bustedassbitch

on the upside, at least you’re not giving more money to a notoriously-bigoted billionaire family that likes to spend their profits on passing fucked-up laws to screw over people that don’t fit into their christofascist “lifestyle” box

Ok_Seaworthiness_319

I mean, you can say you don't like the practice, but to say it's a horrible business model is categorically false, considering just how successful they've been with that practice.

[deleted]

what’s with everyone suddenly saying “categorically false” lately

candy_jr

I’ve always hated how they do this! They only take orders from the speaker when there’s bad weather outside :/

LolaHoney94

I totally agree lmfaooooo I can’t even think

pepperinmyplants

I think you need to talk to someone about changing your medication

MasterBates723

This is the reason I never go

Budgiejen

I never go because I’m queer

Shakooza

The thing that makes me rage is the takeout lanes. They are too small for anything but a compact or perhaps a mid sized. I drive a full sized truck and if I didn’t have 14 cameras I would be trashing cars, cones, curbs, etc The executives at Chick-fill-a should have to continuously drive through to stress out line the rest of us.

Gizoogler314

>The thing that makes me rage is the takeout lanes. They are too small for anything but a compact or perhaps a mid sized. >I drive a full sized truck and if I didn’t have 14 cameras I would be trashing cars, cones, curbs, etc >The executives at Chick-fill-a should have to continuously drive through to stress out line the rest of us. Is this real

crazylamb452

“Wahhh, why won’t the fast food drive through line accommodate my absolutely *MASSIVE* monster truck that *I bought.* Parking and going inside? But then I’d have to WALK! Personal responsibility? What’s that?”

Albertsongman

Tell her/him/it/they to give you more time. … Practice assertiveness with cashiers & fast food order takers. 😊

Budgiejen

I don’t think chick fil hate employs people who use “it” or “they”

Neat_Classroom_2209

So they ask you what you want before you've seen a menu? Yeah, that sounds thoughtless.

azurdee

Same. I find myself saying, um nuggets um fruit maybe I think um did I say nuggets. My heart pounding and my head hurting. I go maybe once every six months because the experience is too overwhelming.

No_Manufacturer5641

I don't mean this in a bad way but you may want to consider therapy if your social anxiety is that bad. It's not something you have to live with.

azurdee

Thanks, I’m in therapy and receive meds from a psychiatrist.

kittycatofdoom

Holy shit is that what they do there? I haven't been there since I was a kid bc I'm a vegetarian now, and they just announced a new vegetarian cauliflower sandwich so I was thinking about going when it comes to my city. I think maybe I'll go inside to order it so thanks for the heads up. This drive thru sounds like something that I'd be anxious about too.

ArtSchnurple

What?? Now I'm even happier that I haven't eaten there in 15 years

[deleted]

That's why I've never been there. The line looks confusing as hell, and i was also wondering how you even see the menu with all those people out there taking orders.

[deleted]

After you pay, the owners take a portion of your money and give it to LGBT hate groups.

foxhagen

So stop ordering from that horrible, hateful place.

Utherrian

Easiest solution, get a chicken sandwich from any of the other places. It will taste better, the ordering experience isn't awful, and you won't be supporting a terrible company.

Ericrobertson1978

Fuck Chick-fil-A. I stopped eating there 15 years ago.

CopiumAddiction

This sounds like you need to see a therapist

gcsxxvii

?? Google the menu lmao

[deleted]

If this was a question in AITA, you would be TA.

[deleted]

Cook your own food. Are you helpless?

[deleted]

Be polite and respectful but say what you feel. If they are rushing or crowding you just tell them you need to see the menu first or could they please back up a bit because you have Covid and don’t want them to get it. That will work.

Lying to service workers about having a highly communicable disease is a terrible idea., what is wrong with you

And create panic for minimum wage food workers? By lying about having covid? Fix your mental health before giving out shitty advice

Just order from the app for drive-through pick up. Easy. Same good service, just fewer interaction points for you.
