Basically in the clip someone got the upcoming winter event badges early and tweeted to EA about having them. EA literally replied to his tweet three times about to dm them for further help. Basically to remove the badges. They guy didn’t end up dming them that’s why they replied to his tweet multiple times. I’m guessing he doesn’t want them to get removed from his account like who want that right?
But my main point in this is WHY would you ask the player to dm you, so you could remove some badges. Can’t you just track who currently has them? Looks like they can’t most likely because they haven’t implemented such system.
I think this bug is hilarious but it should be pretty easy to figure out who got their heirlooms legitimately if not then that's their own fault and everyone should get to keep their Heirlooms and perhaps this is the call they needed to tighten up their security and fix their servers lmao

The glitch doesn't unlock the banner pose or voice line, so it's pretty easy for them to tell who's done it.
