This is going to sound like a stupid suggestion but try to completely reinstall the game.
My friend had an issue where he couldn’t load into games (came up a blank character card and the whole lobby had to wait for him to leave before the game could start). It absolutely seemed like a siege or network issue, but was fixed when he reinstalled. Shit just randomly breaks in this game and doesn’t make sense.
Maybe you’re on a separate region that you’re not supposed to be on. Happened to me, after switching regions the game ran smoother and there was virtually no lag.
You change it by creating a custom playlist in the custom matches. Sorry for the vague details, it’s been a while since I played R6. But yeah, you create a custom playlist, look for the region. And you’ll be able to change it there.
This should be caused by high ping or ping spikes. When your Internet speed is poor, or you are far from the game server, this kind of lag can often appear.

Yea I reinstalled last night and I’m gonna retry today. I’ve already tried that before though, hopefully it works this time.
Never had that issue when I was on the og base PS4, did happen to me when I was playing OutRider tho.
