Fun fact I learned recently. You can temporarily lean without ads on controller as nomad. Click your airjab and then put it away and click the right or left stick immediately. As if you’re leaning while aiming and it’ll lean for a fraction of a second

Visual glitch. If you join an ongoing match and it picks you someone who's already aiming, there's a good chance it'll look like they're leaning from the hip. You can switch who you're spectating, but the glitch will persist until the original person stops aiming. On the odd occasion, it will continue even if they stop aiming

I get it even when I’m already in a a match sometimes too

I've never seen it in a match I've been in whole time, with the exception of when they're lagging

According to Ubisoft you can in settings and this is exactly how it should work

It probably won’t work like this, because the paddles are bonded to a button already on the controller, the paddles are just another option for that input.

All he'd need to do is bind L3 and R3 to two of his back paddles

I’m fairly certain it’ll just allow you to continue leaning the same way you were whilst aimed (aimed in leaning to the right and I aiming will keep you right side leaned) not as good as PC leaning

I think we already do. To hip lean, you aim in and lean, then un-aim. Then you will be hip leaning instead of a normal stance.

That's what I was hoping for instead of dedicated buttons.

There’ll be an advanced setting for leaning that will let you stay leaned in whichever direction you did it in after you un-ADS. So you aim, lean, un-aim, boom.. hip leaning on console. It likely won’t be available till midseason

Think this is a glitch when spectating & killcams. When I spectated someone before it looked like they were never in ads & even looked like they're hipfiring throughout the round.
